Yeah, 6-8bb/100 are kinda biggest wr at 200nl on stars, with meaningful samples. Those guys also game select a decent chunk.

Are you talking 6m? iirc tgigs plays FR. 12bb/100 not going to happen in 6max over large sample (500 and above anyways) but 10 might be possible if you game select really well

You’re doing really well if you can beat the games for 6bb/100 over significant sample (300k hands+)

I doubt a single player has 8bb over a million+ hand sample (and still continues to play) at 200z.

A few probably have 6.5-7 at 500z.

Oladipo on the money for sure but if you actually wanna get in decent volume and not only play 60+ vpip recs, then i imagine 6bb would be a reasonable goal.

The actual god of 200nlz, Seta Beni, I believe has 7.6 EVbb over 1 million hands.

He doesn't play the best times so would guess that 9evbb probably possible? Worthless discussion though, the goal is never to win at the highest evbb, the goal is to win as much $$ as possible.

right but if the goal is to win as much $$ as possible then he wouldn't be playing 200z on stars lol, that has to be close to the nut low option

probably why he moved to 500z and has a casual 18bb over 95k hands

looking at statname and quite a lot of people are achieving 9+ at normal tables over 12 months. Could still be too small of a sample though and its just showing those who are running the hottest.

Not the greatest start to the month. A lot of poor/marginal hands played by myself. Also losing a few hundred on PB.

reg. nh sir. pio bets 33 otr with its range which i think i would struggle to implement in game. Guess to do with Q better for him? and AK makes a large portion of our value range otr that it does better 33 otr?

pretty frustrating start. -24bi in 8k hands. might just play 100nl only for a bit. annoying that i was winning comfortably at 500 2 months ago and now im grinding 100nl only again.

load a session up -> get stacked within first 50 hands -> quit session. x15

still confused if i should apply for a cfp program. always in my mind at times like these when i downswing and dont really have anyone to talk to in poker world to see if im punting.

getting slapped around on stars. even at 100nl. Feeling a bit lost. Everyone is insanely good now and just owning me in every spot. Feel like ive just confused myself to be a loser by using pio as dumb as that sounds.

Might have to change table theme or colour. Might run good if i do that.

Hello, seta beni haha

I played a decent amount vs him and used to think he was among the best 200z regs at that time, together with jungleroars and obv sowiet wings/clanty/alltoonew (kinda disappointing, guy is so good but manages to make the most boring RIO vids -.-)

It's funny that at the time I was in a study skype group and people said he was a 2bb winner for being too spewy and a weak reg, good to see he is doing well.

Seta Beni wins the most because he exploits recs & weak regs to the max by doing a lot of 0% stuff rather than trying to play a balanced strategy, in weak pools it’s always the best approach. It will be profitable for as long as people continue to play bad, so, yep, it will be profitable forever. Also keep in mind that even in that million hand graph, the best 200z graph there is, he still snuck in a 100k BE stretch.

^ ^ sounds like you’re not playing with confidence and/or putting too much weight on small samples, what do your last 100k hands look like, and how do you feel you are playing right now? If you are playing well and winning, then just keep putting in good volume, it will turn around.

Everyone struggles in poker, and some (most?) go through periods where they aren’t even beating their pool, or are winning for very little.

If you’re not winning/playing good, find out what’s stopping you, and address it.

We’re never “stuck” in poker, remember that. Too many people give up when it gets hard. There are tons of resources available to those willing to work for it, just gotta keep your head screwed on straight. I’ve told myself the same sh*t you’re telling yourself rn, 100% of the time I end up coming out of it and find out I was just lying to myself, and was only playing worse because of it.

And LOL at saying everyone is insanely good at 100nl, **** please. You are telling yourself lies because of a small sample of running bad/playing bad.

You’re a good poker player and will do fine, you just need to be confident and positive in times like this.

If something is mixed in equilibrium then by definition both options have the exact same ev. Solvers mixing in -ev plays is just because it's not solved to 0%.

ok thx. guess i need to let solver run longer then. takes so long. usually let it go to 0.7%ish

It's still gonna occur at lower %. You can actually calculate how exploitable the solution is by summing up how much more ev one side would make if you locked the other side and let it choose the slightly higher ev option in every spot. So if it's exploitable for anything >0% you're going to see these small ev 'errors'. It's generally not something to worry about as long as you understand that the ev of the true solution for two mixed options is exactly the same (regardless of the frequency that it's mixing). There might be some stuff like really low frequency bluffs that become 0% frequency bluffs if you let it run longer, but you can just deal with those situations when they arise if you really need to or actually care enough. If something is mixing a considerable % at 1% then it's not gonna change much as you let it run longer.

Well this month was very underwhelming. Downswing made me try to play too many tables at times. Will go back to my 4 normal stars tables + 2-3 other site normal tables.

PB: Missing original 10bi downswing at the beginning. Maybe made close to 1k$ rakeback? so $ total will be similar. Looks like theyre trying to move people off emulators so will likely have to find a new site to play on.

Stars: Probably the worst ive played since i started this blog. Must do better. Called too many rivers. Feel i ran bad for most part. Didnt deserve to win though. Regs just crushed me 3-5handed. Too far away from servers to click into games though if i want to take a break from battling Russians or bitb crew.

im the greatest. Wish i had gif game.

Are you sure you're playing as bad as you think? It seems wild to have such swings in performance quality. Sincere reflection when losing is really important, especially in the world of Poker.
