For what it's worth, mixing syntha-6 with only milk is just as good as a milkshake haha

Wow the complex decisions that Malefiicus faces in everyday life are truly outstanding, small milshake... big milkshake... window open... window closed... coke or pepsi...

I don't know how you haven't had a breakdown yet!

yeh those milshakes are huge.

i have a shake each morning which is: 1 scoop of protein powder, 2 scoops of instant oats (fine), 1 small banana, some seeds, 200ml of water and sometimes i will put some green powder: spirulina in there although it tastes gross. blend it all up and that's an easy meal replacement for breakfast.

Look dude, having your life prioritized like me is the only way to go. Everything else in life is on the backburner, milkshakes are the forefront of my reality.

Do you think I'm cheating, in that my milkshake is just protein powder + banana + milk + tons of ice cream? I'll have to try one of these healthy meal replacing shakes some time. Maybe after the end of my first tub of ice cream.

Today sucked. That is the perfect word for today. It was ******, long, droning, boring, and sub par. The way the cards fell today put me in a **** spot from the start. Meh. If only I knew that when I woke up tomorrow I'd have a milkshake or something, that would probably brighten my mood.

heheheh. The power of milkshakes is all consuming and all consumed.

Here's a hand that kinda just ended it for me today. Not sure if the river is a call or fold once he jams. Either way, I was pissed. Oh, and just to put this thought on paper (ish) so that I don't forget it, I'd like to go to a boxing gym sometime and have a spar. That'd be fun.

Going to probably spend the rest of today at 100NL. We'll see, if I drop like 3bi I'll drop back to 50NL. This challenge thread has some serious milkshake content. I hope you're happy.

Subscribed! Thanks for the help a while back in my thread with the pot odds stuff. Like your thread, gl on SNE! Read you might eventually move to Austin or it's one of your choices, if you have any Austin questions, let me know, I've lived here for about 11 years now.

Drink a milkshake, Cheers!

Austin is definitely on the list. How is your local Chedders? I love that place, they make spazanga, which is obv, spaghetti and lasagna mixed. How is the overall vibe of the city, what are people like? I haven't heard anything ******, but considering you've been there for so long your opinions on this stuff hold a lot more weight than some random stuff I read online.

I personally have never eaten at Cheddars here, we have a few of them I think. We have quite a few good restaurants here, depending on your preferences. Tons of good Tex Mex.

The vibe of the city is laid back and liberal from a political perspective. It's a very hippy mecca in the middle of a mostly regular southern state which is more conservative in nature. There are tons of high tech companies here, so there are many programmers/computer people here that come into austin to live here. There's tons of outdoors stuff to do around here, the city is growing pretty quickly and is a "young" city as opposed to what I would consider an "old" city like Pittsburgh where I lived for about 6 years. No major sports team here, but San Antonio is about an hour away (there is a minor league baseball team in Round Rock which is sort of a suburb of Austin where Dell is located). UT is here, which is huge, and helps add to the "young" nature of the city and everyone here is a UT football fan. The education level is overall high here in Austin, the live music scene is amazing (many people say the best in the nation). People don't dress up much compared to a place like Chicago where you have to dress up to go to a nice restaurant (that goes with the relaxed nature of the city). I love it personally, but I couldn't see myself living anywhere else in Texas, even though I do like Texas, don't like the other major cities to live in. Lot's of sunshine, 300 something days a year I think, having moved from Pittsburgh, it was a big deal for me, but it does get REALLY hot in the summertime, it rarely gets too cold in the wintertime, though this winter was the worst I've experienced here.

That's a general overview, if you have specific questions I can go into more detail.

Thanks, that matches everything I've read. That'll be the first place I check out come June.

Today... was constantly annoying. Can't really say much else, 2p vs set in a 3b pot, AK vs AA AIPF both at 100NL started the day off weak.

+1 man. If you put these 2 days in and hit your 30k mark (or even close) you are going to feel some damn good come March 1st. Best of luck dude.

A disappointing end to a disappointing month.

I have to play 100NL with that bankroll, so lets hope I run good one time. Going to go to the gym tomorrow and start doing that every day. Probably need to withdraw about $1100 or so minimum before the end of the month (well, not minimum, but minimum acceptable by my standards), and I need to play 200+ hours to clear a bonus in order to pay my taxes. Next month will be fun. RUN GOOD ONE TIME

$3700 assuming SNE
$3071 assuming 500k vpps.

gj putting in the volume the last couple days, as bad as they ended

get your overhead press up before u start trying to bench heavy! Best lift ever is the clean and press.

Pretty good/helpful videos together

Woke up today and my lower back was pissed off at the way I slept. Still, I did go to the gym, sign up, and try to do some stuff. Did... I guess less warmup then I was supposed to do, and I don't think I nearly topped out anything... But, I'm comfortable with today as I did find what I needed at the gym, and I did develop pretty decent form for everything. Today I tried the squat, bench press, and deadlift. I'll post my numbers next time I do these exercises, as today I feel like this lower back ******** from sleeping like a ****** messed up my initial numbers.

Pretty happy though, as I did acclimate myself to a new environment, initially it was a bit overwhelming looking at all the stuff in there and trying to find the right free weights and stuff. Plan right now is to go at least 5 days a week, doing squat/bench/deadlift one day, then squat/press/clean the next. What are your thoughts on doing the clean and press as two separate exercises?

Anyway, it'd be cool to get 8 hours in today, I'll settle for 6 also.

If you haven't lifted weights before, I'd certainly recommend you make sure to get all the lifts right, either by researching them online yourself, or by having a respectable weight lifter show them to you. (A combination of the two is probably best). The latter might be hard to find at some gyms, and it's hard to know which people know what they're talking about and which don't, but if you manage to find someone with good credentials or something, it would be great to get them to help you out. An experienced powerlifter would probably be ideal.

It's just such a waste to use the wrong technique with lifts and stuff, as it will both stunt your progress and increase the risk of injury. Anyway, good luck!

I bought starting strength and I've read it and watched the videos a lot. Form is definitely my first goal, I was also told I have 6 free 1/2 hour personal trainer sessions for joining up but I'm not sure if I should go ahead with that. Just don't know what it really entails.

Didn't you have an induction when you joined the gym?

+1 to making sure your form is good and consistent.
