Hello all,

I am starting a log to keep track of my progress. I will be updating regularly with graphs and hands. I am currently playing 25nl and 50nl and my goal is to get to mid stakes (hopefully by the end of the year).

I will be playing no more than four tables of 6 max at a time in order to improve. I started with $250 at 25nl and won at 9.5bb/100 over 10k hands, now i am mixing in 50nl and will be shot taking with 10 to 15bi for the next level ie $1000 to $1500 for 100nl. I will move down when necessary. When i hopefully hit 2/4+ i will make sure i have at least 25bi before moving up.

It has been over two years since i have played poker somewhat seriously, i used to be a 400nl regular several years ago.

graph since i started my rebuild from $250 on June 1st.

Lets do this!! gl all

Forgot to mention BR is sitting at $700 exactly, so far my 50nl win rate is 5.5bb/100 over 11000 hands.

Good luck to you too Jeep! I am following your thread. p.s. you are starting at small stakes not micros haha

Done for the day, played a bit of zoom (hence the number of hands) but did not enjoy it. Will be sticking to normal tables.

BR = $795

Good luck to you! I am doing a similar goal but I'm starting @ 10NL trying to hit 50NL by the end of summer, my thread is somewhere in PG&C. If you ever want to discuss hands or strategy feel free to hit me up. Subbed!

Thanks man, you too!

I had a solid day +$260, bankroll is at 4 figures now. Played two to four tables for roughly 3 hours all up. Ended up picking on regs instead of table selecting as much. Also spent about an hour reading Xinzhong Yao's book on Confuciansim and another hour doing plyometrics as its my rest day from the gym.

I am open to psychology type discussions as well as fitness talk (do you even lift?). Giraffe below. BR is at $1049. 100nl soon.

                My thought process was to catch bricked draws, or do exactly what happened and hope he value bets something like TT, or even QQ as im sure he flats that pre sometimes. Basically i felt there was more value in checking the river. If that makes sense haha.

                    yeah, dont get too tilted by it - if you havent played properly in a couple of years it will take time to readjust to the games...by all accounts poker has got a lot harder in the past coupla years also since BF. 4.5bb/100 sounds good to me!

                    also - grats on the threadsavers, some of the best ive seen

                    Thanks dude, yeah you are right although i dont think they are that much tougher. I will aim to move up stakes every month (at least through to 400nl).

                    Best of luck! Continue with the solid game selection that you obv have been practicing and finding decent spots to take shots and you'll be back to msnl in no time. Def would not recommend zoom (saw in one of your earlier posts that you tried it out) for lower stakes because that rake is pretty tough to beat.

                      Thanks man gl to you too, following your thread! As for zoom i feel it is more auto piloting, which is fine with a solid game plan. I prefer standard games tho, as you can build a stronger dynamic vs regs, table select fish etc..especially 4 tabling. I'll hit you up when i reach your stakes maybe talk poker haha
