Dude, there are more risks from this than death. Most of the fatalities are 65+, but younger people have had permanent lung damage and other long term effects. There are thousands of stories of young, healthy people being on ventilators for weeks.

Comparing an entire year of flu deaths to the two months of COVID deaths in the USA, and showing that the two months of COVID are higher while they are still having 2k deaths per day and it is not dropping significantly is not making the point you think it is.

No, their approach didn't work! Every other Nordic country locked down while Sweden remained open. Sweden has at least 5x more deaths and cases (per capita)than any comparable country in their region!

Every country that got hit hard did not lock down or test as much as they should. The USA, UK, Brazil are the worst for this, but Sweden is high on this list as well.

Well yes maybe their mortality rate is 3x higher, but its not a drama situation.
Also they are the biggest Nordic country so that could explain the higher nr. cases.
I think its better to give people time to build up immunity naturally.
The weak will die anyway no matter if its lockdown or not.

I agree with oneselfishguy. Just the fact that the number of confirmed cases is much lower than the reality makes the virus that much less lethal.
Also about Sweden, they might have worse statistics than in other countries but it may just be that they experience a steeper and shorter curve while in reality the final number of deaths would have been the same with or without a lockdown.

Fwiw in *very large* samples from Asia and Europe they haven't found any population with over 7% of antibodies. 20-85x would be very near herd immunity.
