Mastering Mental Game and Mental Health
Watched all the streams on previous broadcasts so glad you save them as I am never available to watch when you do go live.
You made a comment about jamming AK when you were certain the guy had 88/77 and how you would do it if you were off stream. Somewhat surprised that the stream put you off a bluff, did you give anymore thought to this after?

thanks a lot mate subbed to your thread today!
haha yeah the rage was real
definitely only do it in jest! As i said i shouldn't have said it, wasn't good of me. Glad you liked the JT! Although, people don't fold ever live so surely sneaking isn't a good idea?!
not sure if srs
obviously this. Calling preflop is significantly better.
haha true that
wow, i didn't even think of that. I got lucky
great! yeah, streaming makes me feel quite self conscious around making certain plays that may be scrutinised. Even though i know they're higher ev i sometimes hold back. Bit of a weird dynamic really. Also it's important that I don't give away my entire strategy on stream
---
Tore up the tables today. Ran like god. My good lord, it feels AMAZING. Waited 7 months for this
You know you're running good when a rec decides to 3b call a 4b with A9 then turn the 1 out to get stacked
sometimes you gotta go with the 9To
Happy with my river check vs rec. Prob the only way i stack him
vs reg. those bd's tho
Too tilted about bricking sf draw to fold vs weak reg

Ok so this is amazing and I'm stealing it for my table talk in live poker (with friendly whales of course, not to be used in actual hostility )
Also that JT hand is sooooo sneaky. I take lines like that at a decent clip bc I don't really bluff ever (hard to make 'em fold in the live format of unlimited holdem!) so in spots where I'm going to be capped a lot or hate turns etc. I get sneaky sometimes. Glad to see that it's allowed in real poker too

Lol backdoor quads.
RE: JT hand. I guess what I was getting at is live the dynamic (large opens, shallow effective stacks) is such that I play very tight face up range...so occasionally when I'm face up vs. someone capable of thought (rare!) and get a nut bad turn for most of my range I check. I don't tarp all the time but it's kind of a passive way I guess of protecting what is a very unbalanced capped value range.
I def agree tho the name of the game live is to bet as big as you can as much as you can with teh value

Will do a proper update with pics of my new place when it's not a total bombsite. The other 2 guys are away on holiday till monday so I've gotta stick it out in the mess. I noticed that the stars bonuses aren't in the store atm... I've emailed stars but i'm pretty anxious because i have a few hundred thousand saved up and don't wanna get super screwed Anyone know anything about it that may be helpful?
I read somewhere else the bonus thing is a bug.
Never understood why ppl save up if there's no monetary benefit.

Also, lolwtf to the river in this hand and the other 99 hand, haha.
How come you didn't cbet the flop? Seems like a board you would want to bet your whole range on - do you just figure this rec is going to make more mistakes vs a check or do you usually split your range here?
Also, lolwtf to the river in this hand and the other 99 hand, haha.

My favourite hand of the day vs lolreg. My thought process, 'lol check raising turn, obv has a draw, hmm, he checks, what might he call with K of Q high, probably 1bb, oh he called 9 high that's good'
Got a slightly shorter day of seeing clients tomorrow so will likely grind some. Smb just arrived back in the country too, time for the house to turn into slime
