I have 5 different networks, they are Entraction, PartyPoker, PokerStars, Ongame and iPoker. I play purely heads up games only.

Thanks.

Time to recap yesterday. I started the day playing some reg at NL2000 ongame, we played around 600 hands and I end up winning around 13000$ from him, then he decided to quit me. I was quite interested when he was calling 4bets with hands like 67o etc and he called my bet-bet-bet allin with 87 on A8752 board, and of course me running 8000$ above EV is obviously nice, especially when I finally get the winnings out of it also.

After that I struggled vs fishes and reg shortstackers and really had nothing going on, it was more of a clicking than playing and it was really boring. Sometimes this stuff is actually fun when you are in mode for it, but not when your villain is 1 tabling you and taking 30 seconds before every decision in order to get the table lol.

Then an old friend of mine joined me, who I consider among many other regs to be the worst guy playing professional and challenging other regs. I had like 6000 hands history with this guy before so I had a good picture of his game, we have always played at NL1000, would love to play him higher. He is a sicko overaggro who practically bet-bet-overbets everything, but if he has a medicore hand or top pair with weaker kicker he just checks the river, so it's quite easy to trap him and just show weakness and he will strike and you just snap it off.

I started the session up around 5000$ in really short while but then he was able to get some of it back, me being down around 2000$ but managed to get back up to 5000$ in the end. This was one of those sessions I saw potential to win 10-20buy-ins but it just didn't happen. I ran amazingly hot at some parts of the game as well. We played total of 1400 hands.

Then I had a small break and I played with another reg at NL2000 for 1400 hands again. This was definitely the sickest session I have had. I started the session really well, winning 14000$ in just 300 hands, but then I had a rough period and I lost all my winnings back and 9000$ more in the next 300 hands. We had so much 3betting and 4betting going on that I never have had before, it was kind of a special dynamic. Then I started to hit my run good again and after some swings I ended up coming off with a 30000$ victory. Feels good.

There were some really big pots yesterday. Some of the biggest hands:

PartyGaming - $20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BB): $9,532.48
SB: $8,702.10

SB posts SB $10.00, Hero posts BB $20.00

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero has J J

SB raises to $60.00, Hero raises to $200.00, SB calls $140.00

Flop: ($400.00, 2 players) T 9 K
Hero bets $266.00, SB calls $266.00

Turn: ($932.00, 2 players) 9
Hero checks, SB bets $600.00, Hero calls $600.00

River: ($2132.00, 2 players) J
Hero checks, SB bets $1,675.00, Hero raises to $8,466.48 and is all-in, SB calls $5,961.10 and is all-in

Amazing river card, was begging him to have a full house or a straight. I didn't think he would be able to fold that because our game dynamic had been uber aggro. Although, I don't think he should be calling it with a straight because only hand he can beat is a bluff and what bluffs do I really have in my range when I check-call turn and check-shove river?

But again, when I check the turn I really don't have a 9 so it's really hard to say, the only hand I'm really reppping is JJ or AQ so it's a tough spot for him I guess.

Spoiler:
SB shows Q 2 (Straight, King High) (Pre 31%, Flop 11%, Turn 0%)
Hero shows J J (Full House, Jacks full of Nines) (Pre 69%, Flop 89%, Turn 100%)
Hero wins $17,403.20

PartyGaming - $20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (SB): $26,327.64
BB: $5,975.09

Hero posts SB $10.00, BB posts BB $20.00

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero has 9 8

Hero raises to $60.00, BB raises to $300.00, Hero calls $240.00

Flop: ($600.00, 2 players) 8 9 6
BB bets $449.25, Hero calls $449.25

Turn: ($1498.50, 2 players) K
BB bets $748.75, Hero calls $748.75

River: ($2996.00, 2 players) 4
BB bets $2,246.25, Hero raises to $24,829.64 and is all-in, BB calls $2,230.84 and is all-in

Was close to raising flop but I decided to let him lead and hope he would barrel, if he had over cards I have him beat anyways and those hands won't call my raise. If he has a draw well it's going in anyway. Think you can play this hand with both ways by raising or calling but top 2 is a good spot to call, although sometimes might come bad run outs and I might miss value from over pairs. I think it's more of a matter what I'm hoping him to have.

Spoiler:
BB shows A K (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 65%, Flop 5%, Turn 18%)
Hero shows 9 8 (Two Pair, Nines and Eights) (Pre 35%, Flop 95%, Turn 82%)
Hero wins $11,949.18

PartyGaming - $20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BB): $19,033.58
SB: $3,925.00

SB posts SB $10.00, Hero posts BB $20.00

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero has Q K

SB raises to $60.00, Hero raises to $200.00, SB calls $140.00

Flop: ($400.00, 2 players) Q J 2
Hero checks, SB bets $180.00, Hero calls $180.00

Turn: ($760.00, 2 players) Q
Hero checks, SB bets $569.25, Hero calls $569.25

River: ($1898.50, 2 players) 4
Hero checks, SB bets $2,975.75 and is all-in, Hero calls $2,975.75

Sometimes I like check-calling from the flop to induce them to bluff, because usually I just bet-bet-bet with a value hand.

Spoiler:
Hero shows Q K (Three of a Kind, Queens) (Pre 74%, Flop 85%, Turn 86%)
SB mucks Q T (Three of a Kind, Queens) (Pre 26%, Flop 15%, Turn 14%)
Hero wins $7,849.00

Guess I can't complain about run bad at least for 1 week now!! Feels good to get these hands for my way once in a while. This was exactly what I needed!!

Thanks to both of you!!

It's a funny thing, how your emotions towards poker changes completely within short period of time. Just two days ago I was under deep depression losing even when running a lot above EV, but right now I'm having all kind of joys that you can get from poker. Not because of the money, but when you get few succesful sessions in a row it makes you happy.

Played today mostly NL1000-2000, couple reg sessions and some vs fishies. There's been one reg trying to avoid me lately so I kept joining him and he finally gave me action at NL2000. Took him for 7500$ so I don't think he wants to be giving me action anytime soon again.

Now when I'm looking at my party points it looks like I have 96903 so I just need a bit over 3000 points to hit the 20,000$ bonus, it seems like I'm right on track and won't have any problem getting that. It's a good thing because if it had became a close one it probably would have gave me a bit stress and would probably make me play bad when I'm trying to force the hands in. Everything looks amazing right now!

PartyGaming - $20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players

BB: $2,506.44
Hero (SB): $2,000.00

Hero posts SB $10.00, BB posts BB $20.00

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero has K K

Hero raises to $40.00, BB raises to $160.00, Hero raises to $320.00, BB calls $160.00

Flop: ($640.00, 2 players) A 4 5
BB checks, Hero bets $200.00, BB calls $200.00

Turn: ($1040.00, 2 players) 2
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($1040.00, 2 players) A
BB bets $1,986.44 and is all-in, Hero calls $1,480.00 and is all-in

His call 4bet is 33%, fold to 4bet 33% and 5bet 33%, so I would imagine he is shipping all pocket pairs and Ax, maybe even some Kx that he is 3betting preflop.

I make a standard cbet on flop like I would do with any other hand, when he calls me I think the only hands he can have are flushdraws and 56/76/87. I could fire another barrel to prevent him hitting free draw on river, but instead of that I thought I get more value if I check turn behind and call any non-diamond river if he happens to bet.

That was actually what happened and he decided to ship 1500$ into 1000$ pot.

Spoiler:
BB shows 7 6 (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 19%, Flop 32%, Turn 18%)
Hero shows K K (Two Pair, Aces and Kings) (Pre 81%, Flop 68%, Turn 82%)

Been really working hard lately, got some sick amount of hands in last few days, it's nice when it's going good!

Hehe I'm flattered. ^^

Day started well but ended up a bit worse, was just matter of time. Can't run hot forever. Today I had problems folding big hands, still don't know if I should fold or not. :P

I'm so clueless what to do, would he ship smaller flush? I don't think this ship is ever a bluff either, but again, would he really put me on a K flush as played? This is just confusing.. He didn't seem to be making big moves like this.

I actually had similar spot with him before with A flush, but that time it was 1 card flush, I think 2 cards flush has more value.

Such an annoying spot.

[i]Arghh, I saw him not to raise a good hand here before, also he ship raised before with nuts. My range here is 88/97/QJ/9J/K8/KT/9Q/69/J7/, so I'm like super polarized to no hand/strong hand.

He could have all full houses etc but I would expect him to raise it bigger, just such a tough spot. It looks so much like J9... but could he turn hands like AJ/AQ/JQ/ into a bluff? But it really seems there is more value hands in his range than bluffs. But I've seen him raise it back on flop with 2 pairs before so it would look only sets would be hands that he might play this way, and no reason to raise any pair since my range is polarized to strong hand/no hand.

But every time I call these hands I see myself getting beat, I'm getting good odds but I just don't think they ever bluff!! But it's a sick spot to fold too.

Wow what a hand this would be if he bets the river, I have around potsize bet behind and it's around 2.9k. Think there are lot of missed draws in his range, can't see me folding this one I think.

Sucking out is like a hobby to me.

Hey folks,

Sorry for not keeping you updated, had lot of volume last few days and feel like my game is atm kind of lost. Nothing big really has been happening so I haven't had motivation to update this. I try to keep this updated as much as possible but there will be some days I'm just too tired/lazy to post.

Tiltwise I'm quite proud of myself, I've been able to keep my head and haven't really tilt at all. Of course there are some situations that I could play differently but those are not because of tilt, so game wise I'm happy. I probably would have made more profit if I didn't play so much. I've always told my friends that game quality beats volume all day long. I've just been mega addicted lately and have been trying to find action constantly.

I was able to hit my 100,000 party points and bought the 20,000$ bonus, that was one of the volume goals for the month and I already hit it now when the month is just slightly half way through. I need around 20,000 party points to clear the bonus and have 6 months time for it. That should be no problem.

Weekends are getting boring now since there is no more UFC for a while!! It used to be so good when there were some UFC cards to watch almost every weekend for long period of time. It was already becoming a nice habit to watch UFC and grind, but guess I'll just keep waiting. At least there is formula 1 this weekend but it's quite short compared to UFC, when it's only like 1.5-2hours while UFC being 6-7hours. And obviously much more boring LOL!! But what can I do?

This is the graph from my games after my last update:

Been taking bit easier last few days, feeling a bit burnout. Not going to play at all today and didn't play that much yesterday either. Yesterday was actually the first day this month I felt tilt coming in but luckily nothing too serious happened. That's the reason for my break, I try to keep my mind in good condition and not to play when I feel a bit off.

It took me 18 days in total before looking my monthly graph. When you get into that mindset when nothing matters anymore and you really don't give a f**k about anything it's the moment you collapse and do things you promised yourself not to do. But I feel it has been a good experience for me not watching the graph this month. I've been totally clueless about result and just been able to play. I actually have the same amount of hands already than I had last month total.

Overall lately it's been pretty much hitting my head on wall, not being able to get anything going on really. But after all march is still looking alright. I started the month really well so I had my run good there, plus I have almost got back the money I lost end of last month. Getting to 100,000$ might be a bit tough but really who cares if I get there or not, they are all just numbers. Right now I'm happy nobody took the challenge bet, would feel pretty stressed right now.

Only thing that actually matters is for me to keep playing well and not tilting, although as of right now I feel a bit loss when it comes to confidence in reg games. It's like when you have been bowling and hit strike after strike and then suddenly you can't hit a single strike anymore and you'll always see 1 or 2 bowl standing even when your throw feels really good to you.

Speaking of bowling, I went to bowl today and had a funny 3 person full restaurant menu bet with my friend. I was almost losing but then on the last round I hit a strike and a spare, and I was able to get 12 points lead, but I still was in very bad shape because my friend had a strike behind and he only needed to get 7 bowls down in order to win. Then it comes to his turn, and first attempt he fails miserably hitting only 3, but still he has his second shot and there's no way he can fail that, but somehow he couldn't keep his nerve together and hit 3 again and we split.

To decide winner we had to do another round, it was being very close overall, and when it came to 9th round I told my friend that I have to make a strike if I want to stay in, and if I want to feel confident I have to hit another strike in a row on 10th, I concentrated really hard and took my best performance out and I was able to exactly do so. Then it came to my friend turn and I was able to come off with 1-point victory.

SHIP IT DONK!

Hey all,

Been playing some lately and got couple interesting hands to post. Haven't been playing nl2k that much but instead of that I've been working on NL1k to get my confidence back. I'm trying out some new stuff which seems to be working well so far. Haven't win anything significant but the new style still seems good to me. Although vs some regs that are able to adapt correctly it's big -EV but vs weaker guys its huge +EV. But of course vs the guys who can adapt I'll just take that style off. Like we all know, HU poker and poker in general is very much opponent based game when it comes to certain lines or plays.

PartyGaming - $10 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (SB): $1,000.00
BB: $1,131.37

Hero posts SB $5.00, BB posts BB $10.00

Pre Flop: ($15.00) Hero has 3 K

Hero raises to $20.00, BB calls $10.00

Flop: ($40.00, 2 players) 5 T 2
BB checks, Hero bets $29.25, BB raises to $105.06, Hero raises to $200.00, BB raises to $348.50, Hero calls $148.50

Turn: ($737.00, 2 players) Q
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($737.00, 2 players) J
BB checks, Hero bets $631.50 and is all-in, BB calls $631.50

This is pretty confusing situation, it's 4 bet on flop but when he double checks turn and river I don't know what he can have, I'm guessing that maybe some weak real hand that he was trying to bluff on flop, since I've been doing lot of 3betting to his CRs.

I didn't expect that this particular villain who seemed pretty weak to me, whom I would call "One street wonder" to be able to trap check strong hand here twice on turn and river, I just expected that he would snapfold to my ship on river, and I just need my ship to work every 2nd time so I think it certainly does that.

Think he would play this hand maybe 10-20% this way with strong hand but in general he would just ship the turn, if not the turn then river.

BB shows 5 5 (Three of a Kind, Fives) (Pre 67%, Flop 74%, Turn 84%)
Hero mucks 3 K (High Card, King) (Pre 33%, Flop 26%, Turn 16%)

Flop: ($420.00, 2 players) K 4 6
Hero checks, SB bets $235.00, Hero raises to $3,530.68 and is all-in, fold

I think I just need to ship this on flop because if I call flop and miss turn he can barrel me off, also its tough to play oop with different line, if he has strong hand hes going to bet it off anyways, but he is cbetting all his crap like A5o etc and I think I have a lot of folding equity here + the stack sizes are perfect for ship , plus even if I get called I still have around 38% to win the hand.
