Shortly about me:

Hi, my name is Jaroslav, i’m 41. I have great family and good job (but very time consuming), but seems that job can finish soon. I’m a big fan of board games, in time to time I love some adrenaline so if is a occasion to do something little extreme I’m always try to do like: skydive, drifting, rafting, water motorsport.

My poker story

I play poker from 10 years more like hobby. I started small stakes beginning was good later rather poor, I never focus on play properly. Five years I ago I had downswing, and I got big promotion at work so I gave up completely poker, I come back 1 year ago, I start to play with more concentration but no success, this year in spring I decided that I would like to be Poker Pro full ring, I stared study, regularly watching video, I invested in software, and even I pay for couple lessons. Unfortunately, all afford brings almost nothing I’m still losing, sometimes I feel that I’m find way, few days breakevens, or winning, after that time always coming big downswing. Months ago I change format to 6max I fell here much better, so Im sure that after program I can be strong player.

Why I want to join CFP?

I found BPC while looking around the net for good poker books/courses and came across the site, I consider lot of options, but CFP program seems for me the best so instantly applied.

Two basic reasons:

a) I would like to be a winner,

b) I would like quite a job, and focus on poker,

SO O WILL BE A PROOF THAT'S PROGRAM IS WORKING

First week behind.

That was quite busy week, so was not enough time for poker but anyway I’m quite happy.

Lot of administrative thins to do, but finally I started my education, and improvement.
I follow strict rules, and I try to remember all of them, to act fast and without mistakes. Not everything is fully clear yet, but soon will be fine.

Results so far:
Playing hand: 6 300 BB/100 4,37

Second week.
Was very poor, come back to reality. Even I follow rules pre flop, still my game after flop is week, on to of this lot of bad beats make my results very poor.
I still waiting for first real coachnig sesion, but before this many things have to be prepared, so I have plan to upload all stuff this week.

Seems that Im playing too much hands in one time, I need focus on quality,

Results second week:
Playing hands: 8600 BB/100: – 12

Next week I add some graphs

3th week
First month.

Third week: start very good two days in row with 3xBB + , I start to think that I understand something, but later especially Saturday was much weaker.

I feel much comfortable pre flop I know what to do (maybe some problems with 4bet and BB position), but still lot of difficulty post flop, especially in the river, still I have still fish curiosity

Results first month (not full only 3 weeks):
Playing hands: 24 784 BB/100: – 0,93
In money -57.80
but with all bonuses etc +25
hmm… Maybe not impressive, but best results in my live , first month with no reload.

So you get charts exactly what range to play against every position for example you are button and UTG open raises you get ranges to 3bet call and fold?

Cant wait to see the results of the next weeks...^^

Gl Jaro! Do you also get various ranges vs. various type of players, must be hard to remember them all, no?

4th week

So next poor week: not so much time for poker + results are terrible, a got also my statistic analysis, to be honest terrible results first 10k 91% accuracy, second 10k 87% - shame.
From one hand is bad, because I believed that I do everything well, but reality hit me strongly, but from another hand its good lot of thing to improve, especially 3 Bet - 33% of mistakes.
Next week I will work on this.

And another good news next week I will have more time so I will focus on quality of my game.

About question: yes I got this table to memories, so not so easy seems that Im little bit old but ok Im working also on it.

5th week.

Beginning of the week started very bad, first day I reach stop loss limit 125$, so I decided that I'm slow down, max I play now 4 table, time to time only 3, but strict to the guide line with double checking if I not make mistake, funny but immediately I got results: Tuesday + 120$ +5BB great day
Unfortunately l next day I started with 3 painful bad beat and great story finish quite fast, rest of the week close to break even. Still I do too much stupid call on the river.

Other topic, I did my homework, but Gordon comment was like cold shower, my knowledge and skill is poor, so I need to do everything again + 10k hand more with my new speed rate it could take almost two weeks, so live session is still so far from me.

So.. nothing what I can be proud.
Many hours, results poor, homework completely screwed: hard week, at least I have hope that my accuracy in pre flop improve a lot, next week I will check, so I'm still fighting.

So two week very dramatic game, about 10 000 hands, but mainly losses. I play poor, additionally after receiving video from my coach, I misunderstand information and I completely change my game in the river, what make my game even worst.

But is a good news, finally I made everything right about video so I got rich feedback from coach so is a chance that biggest leak will be plugged in coming week

About homework I cannot say so much , but normally is that I have to mark some specific table situation during my play,and after behave properly with explanation why.

I downgrade my game limit from 25NL to 10 NL, immediately results improved
4 days + 10 BB looks very good but weekend came with bad beat series and I lost almost everything what I won. (eg. my 20 AA games with action finish only with 50% victory so poor)
But finally 9 600 hands with results + 10 $ looks quite hopefully, maybe my downswing finish soon.
This week is for flopzilla, I need to learn this soft.

9th week.

Results are more stable, first week from long time with small positive results, I see improvement of my skill and understanding.
In peek moment I was +10 BB not bad, and last day comes and in one hour I lost more than half everything with ands equity over 90%, that was very cold shower.

Anyway I continue my target for this week is accuracy Preflop: now is too low 95% I would like to be 99%.

week 10

First good week from long time.
Results quite stable, I feel more comfortable, my biggest problem is bad beat in the river if I know how to avoid this **** my result will be very good.
Additionally my AA statistic this week is : 11 time PF I go all in 4 time I won, rest I lost so if one day this will work right like should in statistic results explode ))

I continue my target for this week is accuracy Preflop: is better 97%, but still too low I would like to be 99%.

That was long time without update, I was fighting between poker improvement, time for family and survive at work so:

a) poker not so great generally close to break event + plus few days with tilt: result small minus

b) family: hand not so much time for them because a+c

c) work: I’m still have job well paid but very time consuming, so with my poker results, I’m not ready to leave yet, but we will see so many changes in company coming so maybe problem with decision solve automatically

After seeing my struggling in 6 max, Gordon move me to basic group, but after few days propose me to switch format to HU. I agree, so two weeks ago I switched format.

Now I’m in HU group, I just finish all materials which are little more complicated than 6max and start playing so you will see soon results .

I started play first week, lot of rules to remember but step by step I remember everything. Still too much mistakes.

Seems that Im not enough aggresive but Im not redy for this yet I need to play solid standard line first.

Im slowly learning basic, lot of time takes my normal job.

But results are not bad – first positive month + 600E so I cover all losses and now my profit is positive and slowly build a bankroll
