The long losing Road... The long losing Road...

Hello all,

The point of this thread more than anything is to keep me honest. I have been playing poker online for some years and over the first few years did lose a lot of money. This was due to a number of factors, none more than I was making money from other sources and therefore poker was more of a hobby.

Although poker still is a hobby and not my main income, I have decided to take it considerably more seriously. In all other aspects of my life, the success of making money and using it well has been at the forefront. For some reason poker was the exception to this rule.

I have now decided to drop all the way back in stakes to 5nl 6max zoom and work on my game. I previously played between 25nl and 100nl as roll was never the issue.

I have hired a coach and began studying for the past few weeks and started to see results.

Below is a sample of my previous play over a small sample, I may decide one day to post the full graph over time (which is much much worse) but this shows the terrible poker I had been playing.

I will also post shortly my progress since dropping stakes along with interesting hands as they come along. Feel free to comment on hands, your own experiences and anything else you wish!

More to come shortly.......
