Hey guys, we’re setting up this prop bet to give us some incentive to grind micros while we’re studying. We’re both mainly live grinders but finding the time to play live while at university is rather difficult. To help make the learning process more bearable at the micros we’ve decided to put on this prop bet that will run until the end of the academic semester. The aim is to motivate us to study the game harder and make the adjustments we need to in order to succeed online and make some money at university without the travelling to casinos. Secondly, it allows us to have a decent bit of action with each other making us take micros seriously rather than just donking off. We both have a little experience online but no real success, we hope this changes it!

Terms:
• Bet runs until 23:59 December 17th 2011
• The bet amount is £1000 on both sides
• Starting Bankrolls are $30, can be reloaded up to $30 at any time
• The aim of the bet is Overall Profit from 00:00 November 10 2011, the greatest profit wins
• Cash game profit only, any game, any format
• No bonuses or FPP’s count, table profit only
• All hands are to be played on Pokerstars
• UK/Pokerstars legislation rendering play impossible voids bet
• Death in immediate family voids bet
• Winner must accept a follow up bet in 2012 at the request of the loser for £1000

If anyone can see and glaring amendments that need to be made to the above please let me know, JoeCool2 will post to book and confirm.

Week 1 over for me, think I'm ahead but will know for sure, going to show JoeCool2 how to upload stuff to the forums etc. Felt like I played ok this week, will be looking for a lot more next week and hopefully move up soon! Barring one stupid session when I played tired and got coolered a positive start!

First forfeit is likely to be an easy one, probably a number of funnels over the week. Hopefully I won't be the one doing them!

I'm in uni right now too, and I'm also grinding away at the micros on stars (starting from 2NL) my BR's slightly higher than yours atm, about 120, but it shouldn't take you guys long to get there. These questions are aimed at both of you. How many tables? When do you move up? Whats your stop loss? 9max or 6max? Does it matter? GL at the tables! Also, super hard to get away from, but if villains running like <= 10/6, I'd probably fold that KK<AA hand simply due to the amount of bb's. I think you're seeing AA there 100% of the time.

How many tables?
9-15

When do you move up?
I play deep so it takes me a little longer to be rolled but I'll move up asap

Whats your stop loss?
None, I stop when I'm tilted, tired or done for the day. If i'm playing well but the cards aren't coming there is no reason to stop

9max or 6max?
9max although considering going 6 max to push a bigger edge

Does it matter? GL at the tables! Also, super hard to get away from, but if villains running like <= 10/6, I'd probably fold that KK<AA hand simply due to the amount of bb's. I think you're seeing AA there 100% of the time.
I thought his shove looked a bit weaker, thought he would raise smaller with AA enough of the time to call and see AK or QQ
Also, these aren't my normal stakes, just playing them for the prop bet, ship it

How many tables?

I only Play 6 atm, looking to add more soon once i feel comfortable

When do you move up?

Moving up asap, when i build the bankroll

Whats your stop loss?

Don't have one, if i feel i'm playing well i'll keep playing

9max or 6max?

9max

Sick 1400bb pot, I have history with these two, I've seen them HU in this position and show baby flushes, as well as multiple all in preflops with air, just absolutely crazy play, this would have set me for the week lol. Looks like I'll be in a bit of a hole after today but going to try and get unstuck!

Ridiculous day yesterday with some epic swings and fish hunts, coupled with some of the biggest pots I've played at 2nl. Will probably just have to grind the rest of the week out to make sure I stay ahead and stop trying to gamble with fish for 1000bb pots...

My volume is probably over for the week so up to JoeCool2 to man up and beat me. Am playing the Red Spade Open tonight which will be taking my attention or I'll be in my Beer Pong tournament if I get enough work done, likely to be working and the Red Spade Open though. Kept 100% of myself even though a bit outside my bankroll, I'm thinking about using my one time....

Hey guys, I just wanted o ask some advice on a hand, I'm guessing I could fold turn as his 3bet pre looks like a big pair a lot of the time. I called down because I'm a donk, I was in two minds whether he had it or not though, in hindsight on this board I think he would have laid down AA. I'll accept criticism on everything, go nuts, I'm pretty confident I should have folded turn but maybe thats just my inner nit coming out....

Also, what's more interesting, daily results for the thread or keep it a sweat till the end of the week?
