Somewhat. z0mg and I go way back. We've been racing up the steaks #omnomnom since 25NL. Easily my closest poker friend even though we've never met.

So yeah I've been running quite bad this month. Crashed my motorbike twice in less than 4 days. I can't make left turns #asiandriver. First time I was going 100 and hit the brakes too late and too hard. 2nd time I was probably drunk and didn't see the turn fast enough. Didn't help that the road was super sandy either. The 2nd time hurt way more than the first even though I was going tops 80. Ate the ground and f'd up my chin. Also think I'm missing a chunk of my inner lip. It feels weird when I eat.
Pokerwise I've been running bad as well. Definitely was some play bad when I started running bad, which makes me quite disappointed in myself. Borrowed The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler from one of the Phuketeers and am making my way through it. On a quick side note I think I have ADD now. I used to be able to sit down and read for hours (huge bookworm when I was younger) and now I can barely sit and read because my thoughts are all jumbled in my head. Anyways yeah, the book is quite good. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to take poker seriously.
So yeah, more battling with the Swede and he basically runs like Jesus. Can't count the times I've gotten it in crushing all in preflop in situations where I'm just never ever bluffing but he sticks it in anyways. Not much you can do about it I guess. I've decided to not sit him heads up for my sanity's/bankrolls sake.
I've also decided to watch some new videos that I at first brushed off as being likely terrible. It's probably been a month since I've been openminded to switching up my game. Trying a few new things and lowering the tables I'm allowing myself to play so that I can take better notes and work through gameflow better. Pretty sure I can play up to 16 and still win, granted at a lower winrate, but I'm playing on a 17inch monitor and the overlap doesn't allow me to gather all the information by just glancing at a certain section of my monitor. Not allowing myself to play more than 12, though 8-10 is probably best.
These will be my last 2 weeks in Phuket and I'm going to miss it when I'm gone. Flying back to Hong Kong for supposedly 2 months but I think I'm going to cut it short and come back. I
it here. Flying my family out to Hong Kong so I can spend Christmas with them (coughandsatisfymyconsciousfornotgoingbacktotheSta teswiththem).
We had an awesome Thanksgiving dinner last night with the Phuketeers, huge turnout. 3turkeys, 5? pies, macaroni casseroles, mashed potatoes, salmon somethingorother, and much much more. It was just a great time being able to spend time with our 'family' even though the majority of us aren't even American. I ended up playing Thai Baccarat with the Thai girlfriends for hours. They are the total degenerates. Started with a 20baht bill ended up with ~2.5k baht. To be fair, I ran quite hot. The dealer has a huge edge in the game because they act last and get to take different actions vs different sets of cards. To make the game more fair dealer should be swapped every few hands or so but they're quite superstitious so when they see a dealer lose a few times they like to let them stay (or if they see the dealer win a few times they think the next few times they'll lose, fishmentalityimo). Played til like 6 in the morning.
Anywho enough about my life because I'm quite sure no one really cares and more poker content.
