GG for the sesh.
Meeeeehh, you're right. You definetely have to take your chances when they show up. Especially with women.

He did actually reload for 200, but the table was fullring again, very very bad vibes between the serbians, croatians, w/e and i really was tired

But tbh if he reloads 500 and we are still 4handed, i don't think i will ever leave as long as i can see my cards.

Edit: Online grind is starting slowly but i'm sure i will catch up with the volume at some point. I have no university or work to do for all the month and this means there's no excuse to not grind some hours.

Btw, July turned into an 2k+ month with RB. I made 1,8k at live poker which saved the month. Weeeee

I played some more today and will play another 2 hours tomorrow in front of the computer. I lost a full BI to a maniac today when he owned me pretty hard with a nice line:

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    SB: $27.66 (110.6 bb)
    Hero (BB): $25.45 (101.8 bb)
    MP: $25 (100 bb)
    CO: $25 (100 bb)
    BTN: $40.56 (162.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J Q
3 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $1, SB calls $0.75

    Flop: ($2) 3 J 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.43, SB calls $1.43

    Turn: ($4.86) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.48, SB calls $3.48

    River: ($11.82) 9 (2 players)
SB bets $21.75 and is all-in, Hero calls $19.54 and is all-in

    Spoiler:
    Results: $50.90 pot ($1.25 rake)
    Final Board: 3 J 5 3 9
    SB showed 3 T and won $49.65 ($24.20 net)
Hero mucked J Q and lost (-$25.45 net)

I did tank for a good while but then I was like mhm everything busts and he is a maniac.
In fact though he took a really nice line, i also do this from time to time: xC and then lead with a set or similar can be very cool imo. Some people will level themselves hard against that line especially in 3b pots.

Tomorrow then i will be heading east and plan to play about 20 hours at the WPT Cash Games.
I've heard some people say that the tables will be reg infested but I think 1/3 and 2/5 should be very good/fishy during WPT and i will definetely have a look at it. I hope to play my best in every hand and obv also hope to run somewhere from normal to hot. Ideally as hot as it is in my room atm. I have a fan/ventilator here but the aircon in the Cardroom is better.

            Last Days in Vienna

I will keep this short, mainly because not very much postworthy happened.

It was Friday when i woke up really late like at 6 or 7 pm. I played until 10 am the same day so this was like a solid 7 hours of sleep. Coffee at the hotel bar for breakfast and off to the Montesino with my buddy who also wanted to grind some out today.

Random "coffee at the hotel" pic lol

We get seated at 1/2 no max and i get it in with 55 in a 3bp on JT5hhx Ah. V has AxQh and wins it otr. I get it in with 89 on QJTssx against AK and am down a bunch. Carddead then for hours and at some point we are 5handed with the overaggro younger asian that played the Q7 hand vs my AK in the CCC. You know, he always makes a very aggro and impatient impression and it is personal between us two from the second he joined.
I sat with 600 or so and when we have eyecontact the first time, he instantly tops off his 300 stack to 600.
He calls clock on me after 30 seconds of thinking in bigger pots, i smile at him when he loses pots and stuff like that haha. Just super personal.
He played reasonable tight when we were Fullring, but changed to his loose overaggro play when we get 5 handed. This time tho he has 2 players at the table who adjust and are not moneyscared to his big bets.
He changed seats to my direct left at some point and after some time I change seats so i can straddle when he his in the SB and have the BU when he is BB.
He didn't do very well imo defending ATC against my BU steals and always completing his SB vs my straddle.
I fought aggression with aggression and almost came back to even that night.
We talked more and more with each other through the night and it was just friendly in the end and also fun to play with him. I made some sizing mistakes against him when i wanted value but overall outplayed him very well imo.

The next day i missplayed a hand at 1/2 no max:

            Hero UTG+1(450)
            Thinking Player MP (400)

Hero A5 opens to 7, V calls, 3 more callers

            Flop(38): AJ9
Hero bets 28, V calls, one more caller

            Turn(122): 9
Hero bets 68, V calls, fold (plan was to xC non spade Rivers now, V was seen bluffing, i think he calls my turnbet with many draws)

            River(258): 8
Hero checks, V bets 165, Hero tanks (Spade draws bust, i expect him to raise AJ otf, i am not sure if he raises A9 otf but expect him to raise it more often than not, He should not own me with AK/AQ here cuz he would most likely 3b them pre, QT gets there) I should have called but ended up folding it and regretted my decision the second i folded the hand.

After that the no max table breaks and i play nl200 for few hours with a table full of fish and weak players.

Last postflop hand was AQ 3way single raised pot on AQ2ddx i get it in against the BB flattor's trickyyyy played AA. I say nh, fold 72o UTG and leave the tables in Vienna with a profit of 1k+. I think i won another 1,5k in EV this week but what can you do...

Ok, this post was not even that short haha

            WPT National Rozvadov Weekend

I arrive at 3pm near Rozvadov and go straight tp my std hotel to get a room for 2 nights. It takes 1 minute to show up for the manager and he tells me that he can only give me a room for tomorrow because he is booked out today. So i have to go to a not so nice hotel nearby which costs 24e/night. I hate going there but have no other choice for reasonable money. Whatever, i only need to sleep and shower there and luckily can get a room which has toilet/shower in the room and not on the floor outside...

I put my stuff in the room and off to the grind there are 2 1/3 tables running which is my maingame at Kings. Min BI is 100 and no max. I usually buy in for 400-500 and play with a stop loss of 400bb for a session.

The table i chose is really bad (tightish abc players) but looks even better than the other one. I play for 5 hours and am down 700. I run so bad there for months now. I don't want to whine too much here but i get every form of runbad in my face in the Kings. Carddead for hours, no hitting skills, when i hit it runs out 4card str8/flush, coolers/suckouts left and right and all this stuff. You know it yourself.

I then get a call from my buddy who is again drunk as hell haha but he has a really good idea and tells me to go to sleep now (10pm) and go back at 3am or so. This way i can play fresh when everybody gets tired and it will most likely be shorthanded which i even like more.

I come back at 3am, easily get a seat and we play 5handed. Seems like 2 fish, a wannabe pro who's pretty weak and a solid player on my right. I remember losing a 3bp against the better player with my KQ in SB vs his AJ on BU on KQTssx 9x Tx or Ts dunno. I cbet flop xC turn and river goes check check. I had a really aggro image and came back to even at the table mainly by outplaying the weaker plrs. After 2 hours or so table breaks and i get to another one which fills up soon. Don't remember much but i was down a bunch again and still left with +391.
Hand vs reg: I have 78ss, join the party 3way oop i lead a 852hxx flop, barrel the 7h turn and gaybet/call the 9x river for 175. He says "You are good, i have a nine" and i just show my two pair.

I leave around midday to change the hotel. While packing my stuff i have the window open and here some german gentlemen drinking the beers at the terrace and talking absolute **** about refugees "the boat is full" stuff. Idiots.

One of these idiots parked his big chevrolet so idiotic that i cannot park out. I ask him to leave the yard so i can get out of the parking space. The gentleman he is, he just drives a few meters away so that i have a even harder time getting out.
I have a seat at 1/3 reserved for 30 min only tho, so i give my best to get outta here asap. Ofc i touch a car next to me. FML.
I get off the car tell the idiot to piss off the yard now and then let call the owner of the touched car. Turns out he's here for the main event with a rental car and wouldn't have said anything if it was his car. The car was just so little touched that the hotel owner told me to just drive away but i am not doing this.
So i give the poker player my details and so on and he will call today me if the rental company has noticed the minimal scratch when he brings the car back.

I touched it were u can see the little blue colour from my car. Rungood one time now and don't let them even notice it...

Well, at least i get very nice room then in my std hotel for 30e/night. I chill out a bit and then go back to the Cardroom to play some until i get tired and will go to sleep early.

Table is actually good, deep stacks, no better players then me imo.
I lose 500 to a fish with my AJ on J57ccx Ax Tx when he xC 2 streets and then donkshoves the river. Ofc he has 89 often but i think it's hard to fold against a fish. He has 89o indeed.

W/e i reload 500 and just play my game. At some point a guy in my age sits and has a stack of i dunno 700? He's openlimping, limping behind and i am like ok that will be another fish because people that limp much at 1/3 are usually weak.
After only a few hands tho i recognize that this guy is playing beyond my level and all other players at the table. He's limp/calling, limp/3betting, limp/cold4betting in good spots. He also opens from time to time and i have a hard time to comprehend his ranges pre and postflop. I saw him opening 5bb T8s and saw him limp behind/calling KQs.
He played the sickest hand i have seen at 1/3 against a not so bad Villain. Don't remember sizings exactly but it was a 3bp, Sicko cbets T39hhc barrels like 240 in 330 on a 3c V who covers ships AI and after alittle tank the sicko calls. V asks to run it twice and he refuses. They run it once and the River is a 7C. V has QJcc and wins against: Ax5x. I am like wow so sick and bla. Dude says nothing and reloads 1k as relaxed as u can be.

I spew my stack to this guy then obv when i have J9cc limping behind otb calling 22raise from bb as do 5 other plrs. so like 150 to the flop Q93hhx it checks through. Turn is a 6x and i bet 80 when they all check to me. Folds to the sicko who makes it 240 all day. I tank/spew in 400 more because i thought he cannot have made hands often and has to have a draw here most of the time when checking twice into 6 people...He snapcall owns me with black KQ and i am like gg nh, cu later guys.

            #runbadforeverinkings #spewing to a sicko #feelinglikeafish

That 1k loss hurted my confidence a bit but i just shaked it off, had a beer, went to bed and could sleep very well instantly.

3am my alarm rings. Oh well early shift at the cash tables. Okay, this should be sunday now and i can grind until midday before i have to leave the hotel and go home. Perfect time to start, i drink my coffees, at 7am there is breakfast at the tables and it is short handed. I own two buddies that want to play with me: 1 nit and one total fish. I tell them not to softplay jokingly but these guys are just too stupid to scam me haha.
I played until midday and made a little over +500. Another -800 weekend in the Kings. Fak it, i'll just play the best i can and put in the hours as much as i can. At some point i think i will run better and shoot up. 1/3 players will have a hard time then against me.

It turned out that the sicko was Michael Eiler, a former EPT Winner and Sunday Million Winner with over 1M live cashes. These infos and the pic are all public so i don't think it's a problem to post it here.

It was interesting to play with him, but i'd prefer when he stays away from my 1/3 tables haha

The car rental company will never notice that scratch man. No way

Would definitely put in a cash session in Montesino if you swing by.

So true. I am just such a mtt fish that i am not interested in them at all and don't even follow who is good or has won sth big.

I really hope they won't notice but can't be a big deal even if they see it.

Cash session at Montesino would be nuts, even as a mtt player you will run over these games but i guess you already know that.

I am looking for a good hotel deal atm, so far i haven't found anything good unfortunately.
Austria Trend Hotel Doppio again would be so nice but i have to be very lucky to get a good price. GL to you too yo!

I really don't know what to do about these software freezing issues. I have this for a long time now. E-mailed Stars and they told me some strange things about w-lan Router issues which clearly isn't the problem.

I think it has to do with my HM2 and the huge amount of hands i have saved. I found out that if you start/restart HM2+Stars it gets a little better and only freezes from time to time but it still freezes and costs me too much money.

I have never deleted any hands and don't even know how to do that. But i think about deleting some now.
The problem is that the majority of hands i have in my HM2 (close to 900k) is from nl50 nl100 and some of that nl25. The rest i guess 150k or so is from nl200 or random nl2z sessions or w/e.

Atm i am totally fine with playing 25 and only need the hands from there. But i don't know if i want to move up again sooner or later because i am very well rolled for 50 and 100. Also for 200 but i have never beaten that. I think in 2016 i will def move up again cuz i need VPPs then.

I don't know if i should delete everything but nl25 hands. Would be nice if someone who knows how to delete huge amounts of hands from HM2 and reads here could help. It would be greatly appreciated

I don't know about the hand deleting part, but I also had problems with software freezing. In my case it was because of HM2 as well. I recently got a 500mb SSD and moved HM2 on that. No problems whatsoever since. Didn't do it for the purpose of solving the problem, so it was a coincidence...

If u want to delete hands, open database management in HM2:

Go to the Purge tab; select all the stakes apart from NL25 (or whatever stakes u want to keep) and click "Purge".

I am getting destroyed by the live poker in august. 2,4k down atm. ****ed up, i played solid imo like 35h this time and spewed away 400+ in my last hand against a big fish and left with a 400 loser weekend. Will maybe go to the Kings today again, just to show myself that i can play 8-12 hours A+ Game again today and also to get some volume in.

Supernova Freeroll was a cooler joke as well but w/e, i don't care much when i played my best. Still doing well online this month which satisfies me at least a bit.

No clue why it won't show the Rakeback stat anymore. np anyways.

Will maybe make some changes in my live play. Nit it up a bit more, bluff less but it is not like i am bluffing in bad spots or against super stations in general.
Won't change too much, though because i have no real samplesize in my PokerIncomeApp yet and i do really believe that i can be a solid winner in the games i play.

One thing has to change defenitely and this is tilting/spewing away stacks or even only 1 EUR.

No way i can do this again, because it tilts me big time when i let the tilt overcome my game.

Nice results online man! just need to grind out some more hours live. Def think the J9c is a fold to the turn c/r haha. My ps client also freezes most sessions but I keep task manager open and snap close HM2 and everything unfreezes straight away. Having a SSD doesnt seem to help, and i also dont have that many hands in HM2.

I took a photo btw of a 100/200 mixed game this weekend. Just because my Hero w00ki3z aka jungleman aka Daniel Cates was playing (after he claimed to have lost 5M$ in Manila).

I think it is funny, because my buddy and I made fun of a really bad player at our 1/3 who did greet some pros walking by especially Jan-Peter-Jachtmann (a PLO big boy live, don't know about online).

"Helloooooooo Jan Peter! Are you going to play 25/25 again today? Oh you are so cool. Just so cool, i'd like to kiss your ass."

Ok that's not exactly what he said, but you get the point.

He also greets a Romanian 1/3 grinder who joins and is like they are best friends from birth on "Hiiiiiiii Alex, gooood to see you!".

Romanian (really cold in his voice and look): "My name is not Alex, period."

            Haha lmao.

So here is the pic of the 100/200 with endboss Jungleman:

I didn't notice that Jan Peter looked straight in the camera with his epic tilt face hahaha

And yes, i know i am no better than the fanboy fish of Jan Peter, by taking a photo of my Hero Jungleman. Will ask for a Selfie if i see him today.

@ Scorpp: Thanks man! I think it should be a question of samplesize mainly and ofc just playing the best possible.
Keeping task managar open is something i never thought of. Wp, ty!

@ ac3play: The Phil guy defenitely always plays cash with the big boys, too. I don't know, i think he is more a mtt player and i am not sure how good he is in these cashgames with Daniel, Altergott and so on. I heared that most of these German guys play staked by a younger german player who won big in 2013/14 or so and has money from his parents.

In general i think not everything you see at these Higstakes games is like it seems, i think Jungleman is one of the few guys who often plays with his own money (i am talking about these games in Kings, ofc Phil Ivey and so on may play with their own money too).

I feel like many just show off at these stakes live.

            ------------------------------

I played like 9h Yesterday, tables broke 2 times but i didn't have to wait too long. I wish i could always play shorthanded live. Played A- Game and made a profit of +419. Games were also ok/good for a monday. I hope they are today as well.

Beat: Forgot my earphones in the cardroom which were a present from a family member and were really good quality. The other ones i borrowed my buddy and so i have none right now. It sucks because you never know what kind of idiots you will have at the table and when they start talking BS/whine/talk "strategy", listening to music is just nuts

Brag: Made a photo with me and Jungleman for real

Variance: Still -2k live this month

I hope you guys didn't get me wrong with what i said about Philip Gruisem. I mean, yes he may be a mtt player but that doesn't mean he cannot be good in cashgames as well (as i learned the hard way from Eiler haha). I am 99,99% sure Gruisem would crush me if i would play with him, i mean i am a lowstakes grinder after all.

What i wanted to say is that he is playing with some of the very best cashgame players and i don't know how he performes against them.

            --------------------------

I only played 4,5 hours live today, but it was nice for me. I started a 1/3 game and soon more players joined. I 3betted the random guy on my right as hell just because i did get the cards. At some point UTG minraises, one call, random on my right makes it 26 and i make it 65 with KK. Folds to random who calls. Flop T86ccx he xshoves vs my 100 cbet, covers me and i snapcall my red Kings. I hold up and win against AKcc. Phew. Double up to 750 or so.

I played my A game so far and then i see a big action player joining the 2/5 table, who has played and lost at 50/100 the day before. There is one seat free and i take it.

On weekends you never get a seat at his table because of all the crazy bumhunters. It is like they have a bumhunting script for live poker...

I take some chips off my stack and join the 2/5 with a stack of like 640. I hit a flush on a paired board with 97ss and win some, so that my stack is 875 now.

I am BB then when the guy on my left straddles 10 and the action player restraddles 20. 1 Limp, BU makes 125, i look at KK and after few seconds of thinking what to raise now i just ship it in for 875.
Action player who covers coldcalls my AI.
            BU who covers raises AI.

I am somewhat relaxed for the size of the pot and well i do have KK here.

Flop is T53hhx and Action Player says: "I am still alive, small cards are always good for me".

Turn is 4h and everybody at the table (except me and BU) starts laughing when he stands up and says "This is a very good card for me!"

            River is a offsuit Q

I don't even care who is first to show now and just table my KK. Action player opens a 5c and a 2c. Seems like i am good against that.
BU is not looking very confident and says, yeah that's good. I ship the pot. Weeeeeeeeeeee

Beat: Didn't get my earphones back. I suspect some dude to have stolen them but whatever

Brag: Can buy new earphones now.

Variance: Won close to 2,4k in under 5 hours.

Now i have lost 21 EUR by cashing out to my EUR account. Cashed out less than 1k USD btw.

Seems like i have to convert everything to EUR before i cash out in future. That sucks how Stars tells me it is standard and i never really noticed before. Wp...
