Long time lurker at this great forum now i come out of the shade and try to contribute a little myself

Me, in his twenties, living in europe (not eastern europe)
I started playing poker in 2011 and at first i played everyhing, from cash games to heads up but mostly mtt's. I was hooked to the game very fast and i thought i had a good feeling for the game but i was clueless about some aspects like Brm and Volume. So i was just ur average amateur player who despite losing money had fun playing. But i wanted to be a winner and was curious if i can win at this game and after reading some inspiring stories here on twoplustwo i stopped being a pokerclown an went for the proffesional approach. So i'm grindin fanatic since a year now

The past year played almost exclusively at the 2.50's with not bad results.
Think only a couple guys made more profit at these stakes the past year, this is not because im a poker god or something but its because i stayed at this level for the whole year and other solid regs just move up. glad they did
At the end of 2012 i only had 130 dollars to my name and the plan was to stay at the 2.50's 180's for a whole year. I just wanted to build my bankroll and after two weeks of 4 tabling my roll was big enough to add more tables and the rest of the year i was basically 22 tabling the 2.50's at PS.

Ok enough about the past. I like to look ahead now

I had some living expenses and bought some things, little study debt i took care of and so i start the new year with 7740$ in my PS account.
I now finally say goodbye to the micros and gonna play mtts in the new year.
It thought about playing the higer 180's like 3.5 r and 8's 15 but i like mtt's to much and i think there's great value in them. With an average buyin around 12 dollars at first i would like to play midstakes by the end of 2014. So my goal is to have a solid bankroll for mtt's with 30 dollar avarage buyin by the end of this year. And ultimately i wanne play the high stakes tourneys, that;s the dream but i have no idea if i have what it takes to do that.

This thread is to keep a blog for myself and for everyone who is interested in my poker story.I start in about a week, first small vacation and celbrating new year and then i'm ready 2 go for hopefully a good 2014

Yeah that came as a big surprise, totally not expected it especially after my first 7000 games with something like 32%roi. It was pretty ****ty, those months.
But i tell u, now looking back for some reason im happy it happened.

just playing 2.5 180s mixing up with 45s,building bankroll for MTTs, what is your overall stats at 2.5 180s?
better do not give up 180s while playing MTTs to lower the variance....

I'm gonna play small field mtt's and the cap ones for reducing variance, and occasionally the 3.50R. that's the plan at least
