Like most ppl that do challenges here, I'm starting this one to keep me focus, motivated, etc,...

Short story: I'm a belgian/british grinder that has been living in Chile for the past 6 years now. I live with my chilean wife and 1year old son in the mountains of Central Chile in a house that i built with my poker earnings.

My desk

I coach the latino group of Samurai Staking stable and play staked too.

I had a crazy year, started with a bang, then got over confident and started to play high stakes MTTs, got 12th in the Super Tuesday and then went on the biggest downswing of my career.

Since started to coach for samurais, my game has evolved so much, my EVbb has never been so good, so i feel good at the tables, reduced my table volume too, which helped me soooo much improving. ( I used to play up to 35+tables).
Now i play between 10 and 16 max.

My plan:

Gonna be playing
180s (mainly 3rs)
Bounty builders (up to 33$)
Splash MTTs
Splash Sats.

I am deep in makeup besides winning a 10k package for the PCA the other day. (Selling actions btw http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...hamas-1639347/ )

So the goal is to get out of MU before going to Nassau.

Day 1:

Made one deep run in bounty builder 4.4$ finished 53th.

Started playing the 15$ (27-180), they are quite soft, will keep playing them for sure.

Made a lot of semi fts but couldnt hold. Could've been way better day.
Won a 3r on the very end to make it a good day.

4139$ to get out of MU

I think that a good evbb/100 in 3rs is at least 7. if u are over this, ur doing a good job

Day 2:

Bad day indeed. Could not get anything going, got coolered all day long. Just won a splash sat for 215 euros to save something of the day.

Won some sats, some 180s and made a deep run in bb33$, finished 85th or so. so close !

Started the day really well, and then ran like total balls til the end. Very frustrating.

Not grinding til maybe sunday morning where i will be playing mainly splash sats if i do play.
Otherwise will be back on monday.

Quick update:

Gonna have to change my schedule due to the fact that i'm going to have to take care of my son during the day (most days) so gonna have to grind evening/night schedule.

Good thing about this: Less regs, softer games.

Bad thing: No traffic in 180s

So will be playing mostly splashs sats and a mix of mtts.

I started playing them but decided to drop them, i think they are quite soft in the mornings and nights but at peak, its a regfest. good thing is that they have good traffic.

Gonna have to put more 180s and less mtts in my grind, kinda feeling burnout for all the deep runs i make but nothing works out.

Going to play just a few mtts and start of sessions and then focus more on 180s

Played a lot of sats and bricked all of them, ran rly poorly, and in the end punted a few sngs that could've been day savers. Was pretty upset with myself, went to bed and woke up the other day rly pumped !

Day 12:

Played 1 mtt and ran deep (Mini thrill) endend 60th or so.
And all sngs ranging from 2.5,3r,8s,5ko, 11kos and 15s on demand. 15 tables max 105games total
Thats the kind of grind i love !
Its more healthy then grinding only mtts for me. So i guess i'm gonna keep doing it like that.

Gonna be playing a small morning session tomorrow. Then weekend with my wife and kid to relax in the pool.

Gonna try to post updates again, january and february didnt play much due to travelling to Bahamas to play poker and then Grenada with wife and kid.
Back to the grind now til the rest of the year so gonna try to update as much as i can.
