Played well again imo.
Almost finished one of the assingments. Next one has deadline tomorrow. Will be studying swedish language for the whole day. HOW ****ING AWESOME? Well in about 3 weeks i'm done with it and i can just freeroll for 2½ months on student welfare, while finishing some easier courses.
Some hands, i realized i misplayed nuts a couple of times and lost value. Need to review more. Also goal is to review some of the regs i'm playing with.

h1: Was tempted to donk the river, but i believed that if he has 2p/set he will bet it. When i raise, not sure if i will get called by other hands than QJ, but there's always room for mistakes. So i think checking is better here. I don't remember, but i believe he was fishy villain. So if we donk we allow him to play perfectly, maybe fold set for a donk shove etc. Was also slightly worried about UTG xr'ing turn. 83s i fold here, 84s might just be good enough to defend.

Saw some fishy fellows in 100nl FR, so had to join. Continued playing 100nl, even winning the small pots feels insane.
I think it's not about the money. It's about confidence and having general grasp of the concepts. Like if you don't have confidence, you are more likely to lose money. Not gonna stay at 100nl. I have been railing the tables and i see some mid stakes players occasionally there. Just gonna keep grinding 50 for the rollz.
Overall my gameplay was more aggressive than usual. Took few really aggro lines i need to review. Also kept punishing the passive fish for putting you on the nuts every hand

h1: I wish that it could be always like this. I almost got the other guy to call by thinking before calling. he tank folded. You just look at that call button and know you are going to make a ton of money.

Let's forget this downswing for good now?
Woke up today and checked the tables, saw this 200nl table with 2 players i had tagged as fish, + one reg and unknown. So i joined and turned out that my tags were incorrect, both guys i had tagged as fish (limping or something stupid post-flop) were ok. There was fish on the table i made money from. Some hands here, i think i wp all of them. Maybe bit more each street on the AA hand. Funny how the fish didn't raise flopped 2-pair, would have been big pot then.
Month is soon over, receiving rake race payments and RB. Party is offering nice bonus next month i could clear at 50nl. My plan is to have a low volume month, so i have been planning on playing at iPoker.

h1: always have a feeling that guys at higher stake are exploiting you. It would be nice to have bluff raise range there, but meh he knows i have KK/AA. Going to wrap up the month today. Don't care if there is 5 fish sitting in 100nl table, i just don't care.
I don't know if it's the end of the month, but i have been extremely stressed about money the past few days. I want to have a good winning month so maybe every big pot lost stresses the hell out of me. New month starts and it's more about the big picture again, "one long session".
Over the past 2 days my focus has been very low. I have been gambling more impulsively on spots where i really should just think twice before doing anything. I wonder if you can run out of focus. Have been losing some flips, bluffs haven't worked etc. Have been down a lot on both days, but played a lot to get back to +0. That has included 100nl/200nl gameplay.
Yesterday i felt like i was "tilting" for hours. I think it was actually just a bad headache. I thought that there was nothing to tilt me, but still i didn't feel well. Things kept going downhill, i think i quit at one point already, until i found 2 fish play HU at 200nl.

So as you can see, not keeping the game simple. Making bad bluffs, stupid calls etc. and my winrate is ****ty from that duration. I need a break. I also need to stop playing 100nl. Maybe some jesus seats are ok, but BRM is not okay. If i lose 400€ i totally freak out. So just need to keep grinding 50nl. It's interesting how i started the month playing 20nl and ended up in 200nl
But really that's not great BRM. If i were on stars i would put restrictions.

Also about investing. Now that i've had a good winning month, how much should i be investing in order to improve in poker? I'm thinking about a couple of BestPokerCoaching courses. Double 6-max winrate course is 300€, but it's well in line with my current goals in poker.

Played 6 hours on finnish RAY.fi poker client. +80€, not bad hourly. Had to hit a big cooler though, set over set OTT in 3b pot. Ran a bit unlucky with cards. Had some donks on the tables, but didn't hit very well, or didn't get paid. Didn't experiment a lot of bluff DB's, it's harder w/o hud. Got snap called by bottom pair OTR so i guess playing passive was ok. Decided to cash out whole roll, re-deposit when i play there gain. It's very low volume site for sure.

h1: big cooler. Had 2 quads that night. But lol, think it's just standard variance, no "new player heater". My bet sizing was kind of bad here. Let's rework it:
Flop (18.25€):
Effective stacks 65.96€. Hard to jam turn without overbetting. So hero would have to bet ~17€ to be able to PSB turn HU. But 3w, if the fish calls, we can PSB turn, so i think it's okay.



h2: I think it's a right fold with AA. Jesus christ what they had...

If i'm honest with myself, i have been very lucky at 50nl+. I'm well rolled now, but nowhere near at taking shot at 100nl. So i will invest some of my winnings. I will also start examining board textures like crazy and review most of the month. Like said i won't play much this month, i will get all stuff done so i can grind a lot on July. Will be playing 50nl on iPoker as my main game this month. Will see how it goes. Can't play on MPN, as i would get hooked up on rake race again and not get stuff done

Some summary of the contents:
4th line to the hud?
Currently have 3 lines and i use all the stats very frequently. WTSD % is my least used stat, need to work on it. What i would add to my 4th line would be at least: x/r flop, probe bet, limp/fold and maybe some donk river stat. Maybe BTN 3B since opening the popup takes time. 4th line is going to take space and might cause difficulties on some sites, and i also don't want the text to be too small. Pic of my hud setup:

AF vs AFQ
I have always used AF. I should research what is AFQ and see which one i would prefer.
Flop cbet --> turn cbet
Correlation between these two. I reviewed stats of a guy with 90% cbet 55% turn cbet. Need to put some thought into this. Figure out what is "high double barrel".
HUD reliability
Especially vs LAG players i look at the HUD too much. If they have 27% PFR i assume they are maniacs post-flop too. While some of these guys i met at 100nl had like 50% flop cbet, which would be fine if they open a lot.
Also noticed an interesting concept, how vs unknown players some coaches don't use huds, they just prefer to take reads since sample sizes are too small.

Thoughts on the video "Bluffing Flops" by Splitsuit.
What do we need in order to make a good bluff raise.
1. High cbet %. Villain is cbetting certain textures at high frequency. On a board of 854ds, thinking player is not bluff cbetting often. K/Q/A-high flops = perfect to bluff cbet. Dry flops, J72r T22r 885r often good to cbet since they miss a lot of sc's and some small PP's might fold.
2. We need to be repping something. In position = we can rep less and rely more on fold equity. We can assume that some villains will never play back, because of scared money or they don't think enough.
3. Equity. If we get called we have something to rely on. Backdoor equity or/and draws are good.
4. Blockers, as i analyzed in the first pages, xr'ing FD board with NFD blocker reduces villains combos.
5. High fold to flop raise %. Needs a big sample before we can start to make conclusions.

Played one table of 100nl underrolled, because i found 2 fish there. Aggressive fish and passive fish, nice combo. Goal is to just keep on grinding rolls. Don't mind if it's 30nl or 100nl, prefer 30 or 50 though. I see players from 400nl play 100nl so maybe i stay out of 100nl for good.
My razer deathadder's double click issue got really bad, ordered a Logitech G400s. It has 3 year warranty. Hate to be buying Gaming-products for poker, a lot of air in those prices.

h2: Had reads that he was probably tilted, or not playing optimal. he snap bet every street. Vs range: AA, JJ, AJs+, AJo+ i have 20% equity Implied odds calculation shows that i would have to make 61.9$ OTR (+ rake), so i don't quite make it. Was already about to press fold button until i hit call. He would need to have 19.4$ more on his stack, including rake that's probably ~22$. In the KQo hand why did you call his 3bet? I know he has a high 3b % but the sample sixe is low and you are utg. I play way lower that you and am not v good, but i snap fold KQo utg facing a 3b.

I just looked at his 3b %. Didn't pay attention to positions. I agree that KQ is not doing great if you call 3b with it. If players are really aggro, then we start to dominate their 3-betting hands. QJ KJ KT etc. But vs tight player with like 5% 3-bet KQ is just a bluff catcher. I like to 4b KQ occasionally due to blockers, but his 3-bet sizing was too big. Probably the biggest influence for my call was that he was possibly tilted.
10nl and 100nl play differently though. I see a lot of players with +10% 3-bet on the tables :P KQ is not that bad hand then.

So mad at myself. I will probably start doing push-ups and kettlebell exercises for every pot i tilted. I play like ****ing ****** and deserve punishment.
You can blame poker sites, variance, "this guy is total ******" THAT'S GOOD.
At the end of the day you look at the mirror and see reason for every mistake you have done in poker.

Yeah i'm being risky in 100nl, has worked so far. Have learned a lot from the regs and made some profits too.
If i find fish i play them up to 200nl I know i have the skill edge. Maybe if it's total aggrotard i skip it. In my 200nl shots or w/e i only play max. 2 tables. So i play my A-game.
My typical day is like: "i'm gonna play 50nl today", see there is 1 seat available, rest are taken -> check out 100nl games and there are good tables there. I kinda cba to play 30nl.
Needless to say i don't play reg-only tables, always have whale on the table. I really like to take risks with BRM vs poor players, if good tables are available.

I'd be sweating buckets if i played with over 10% of my roll on the line. I was so tempted to play 100nl game the other day as a 80/50 who had been stacked at 10nl about 5 times in less than 50 hands was playing there. I watched the table, he doubled up and left. The rest of the players insta sat out, lol.

Last day of my DC sub. Finally found an interesting series, "8 things not to do" by BalugaWhale. Will be watching a lot of that series. Also will have to finish some school work, soon there.
Going to buy a couple of coaching video packages. They are expensive but i think i can really increase my winrate via them. They are a lot cheaper than getting coaching. Coaching should work for finding individual leaks, but these video packages have covered a lot of common leaks.
Investments mean i will have to drop down to 50nl for good, which is fine. Hopefully i would be able to clear my first deposit bonus on Ongame this month so i could move out. Will be back at Microgaming next month.
