I did fold pretty happily, I think that my line was correct given 400+bb deep except the 3bet pre sizing.

Played probably my last session for a while, going away for a break until after new years. Happy with my progress and play in the Pppoker club, have an enormous edge there.

In the new year I might start playing more PLO on ignition and continue working towards moving up in stakes. One main goal will be increasing my daily study time, pre and post sessions. And actually studying every day.

Merry Christmas in advance to you all, hope all our 2019 poker dreams come true.

Range vs range analysis using holdeq, population analysis in pt4 and hand review. If it counts, I also watch some cash game streamers and listen to the justhands poker podcast which is useful for live play and applies to the pppoker club players.

First day back today, played for 2 to 3 hours on the pppoker club, ended up 200 I think. There is a big problem that I just said. 2 to 3 hours, why? I could easily have had a 6+hour session.

I have really solid hourly winrate but I'm going broke and losing a tonne of potential money from literally just not playing. I'll play an hour or two and just say **** it and watch youtube/play games for the rest of the day. I was doing this before my break and had hoped that the break would fix it, apparently not.

This is awful, I need to fix my motivation, not sure how to approach it. Will see how tomorrow goes.

I think coming back from a nice break into full motivation mindset is a bit unrealistic for most people. You put in 2-3 hours, start ramping back up this week.

Got a bit more in line with myself today. Played for a bit more than 6 hours, 3 tabling (1 table 200nl, 2 tables 100nl). Played anything from heads up to 6max and ran well most the day.

So far I'm crushing the Pppoker club, but have a small sample. Hopefully can continue this run for a while longer. I need to start folding to 4bets, they all seem to be aces lol

Very happy to run good today, but more importantly I'm really happy with myself for putting in a longer session. I hope to continue to push myself like this and do it for the remainder of this week and set myself a good working routine.

Two days in a row with longer sessions. Although today I was more distracted, still played in a +ev manor (probably). Let's keep the momentum up!

On an unrelated note, my reddit account got perma banned, no idea why.

Another long-ish, I've been managing these long sessions and still crushing in terms of winrate, there is a but. But, the whole time I've been chatting on discord and watching video's etc which I'm sure is hurting my winrate. The problem is I don't think I could have these long sessions without these distractions.

I want to eliminate these distractions BUT still have long sessions. Not sure what to do, suggestions?

Currently playing/streaming 100max shortdeck and playing 200nl as well. Let's see how this goes

Finished up for today, "crushed" the shortdeck, most people buying in for between 25 and 50, but max buyin of 100. I played a lot of heads up short deck during the day and won mostly from that, but still beat the 3-6 handed as well.

Heads up and 3 handed is much better than 6 max for shortdeck imo, will keep playing it next week.

I've been putting in longer sessions which is a +, the next thing for me to focus on is my ability to focus on just poker and reduce distractions.

Hey Dante, tuned in to your stream last night, was fun hanging out.

Wondering if you could PM me on how PPPoker works, how to get in to a club, and how deposit/withdrawal works there.

Thanks man, glgl

I've been playing every weekday 60-200nl for around 5hrs a day average which is not bad.

Also playing the Iggy 25k daily each day as I grind waiting for the 5.5k bink that will give my broll a lot more flexibility (bankroll management goals 2019 right here).

I'm finally putting in enough time, now I just need to aim for my next goals which are: study more & minimise distractions during grinding.

Winning almost every day on pppoker which is good. Need to still maximise my return by adding more hours, working on my game and focusing more. I still feel like I can improve my exploits a lot more vs these players.

Had one interesting hand today, 4 handed 200nl, I'm bb with Jj, 350 effective.

Sb limps, I raise to 8, sb 3b to 29, I call.

Flop 58: 7 T 4 rainbow, sb bets 38, I call.

Turn 134, 9 complete rainbow, sb bets 80, I call

River 2, sb shoves I call, sb has a8o

I HAD planned to go back to being only poker while I studied, but I thought it would be a choice. Turns out now I'm playing poker 5 days a week because my normal work is closed down for the next 2 month's lmao. Good thing I'm crushing pppoker.

Ended up playing a very short live 5 5 session last night at the casino after winning a buy in from a slot machine while I was waiting for a seat (slots are +ev). Small win at the 5 5.

I'm looking to put in some live sessions later in the year, but only on Fridays/Saturdays and only 5 5 or bigger. But need to sort out my broll more before I do anything like that regularly.

For now and the next month+ I'll be grinding 5-6 days a week on ppp and ignition and trying my best to survive irl.

Played another session of live 5 5 yesterday after a long day of pppoker.

Ended break even at the 5 5, but holy damn, using some of my learned online skills in a live environment (with adjustments) has given me knowledge to use in some spots that will help me absolutely crush.

Utilising small cbet sizings and overbets in way more spots than I ever did before playing live. I didn't think I'd improved much over the past year, but I realised last night that I have made very considerable progress.

The plan: Play 4 tables of pppoker 5-6 days a week for 4-9hrs a day. Play an extra table or two of 50nl/tournament on Ignition at the same time.

On Fridays, I may occasionally play live 5/5 live (maybe drive a bit further to a 5/10)

My sole income rn is poker, so I really need to make this work.

Hero is sb, 500 effective, AdQd, 10 handed

Flop (100) Ac 3s 5h, hero bets 35, ep fold, mp call.

Turn (160 after rake)Jd, hero bets 75, mp calls

River (310) V has 280 left in stack, Hero bets 175, V shoves for rest. Hero calls, V shows ATo

I've never done solver work before but I think I'm going to start soon. Currently looking at Monker ($500), GTO+ ($75) &, PIO ($500). Any thoughts on which one would be the best choice?

My current poker situation and poker goals have changed quiet a lot since the birth of this thread. Not sure if making a new thread would be appropriate or just continue with this one.
