This couldn't be farther from the truth. I once had a stretch where i ran 100 buy-ins over EV (not even going to mention at what stakes because it will make you sick to your stomach). Now if it's possible to run that hot, the flipside of variance also exists. Put in enough hands you'll see how swingy this game is

Oh I know a lot about variance myself, but the bigger your edge in a game, the less swings possible. So bumhunting the softest tables/times, I'm going to experience less absurd possible runs having a 10evbb/100 WR over a 0evbb/100 WR. Obv can still see some bat**** absurd stuff; should be fun to see what sort of variance I do have if I ever start putting in some real volume

Oh Sunday bloody Sunday. I am actually exhausted right now, which is not good for me and very good for the FRers lol. Sitting on 1,167,573.49 vpps right now, planning to get to 1,175,000 today and snap quitting and resting unless the games are too soft to quit. That would leave me with 6 days to get 12,500 vpps a piece to not have to payout the FR which won't be easy but doable methinks. If I fall short, I just have a more absurd grind ahead of me (get to 1,350,000) to not pay out the FR!

Anyway, Sunday. Was quite the long day, will just give a short rundown cuz who the F really cares and I don't wanna dwell on it
-JJ<TT river T for 4/14 ftp $635
-Run JJ into QQ and KK co vs btn vs sb for 2/18 party $500
-Bust 19th or 20 in the huge sunday $109rebuy
-Lose a flip for 2/15 ongame major
-Lose a 3way flip (AK vs 44 and AT, AT obv wins) for 2/50ish big 215 turbo

Not much SNG volume yday obvs, here's what I did play. Gonna try to hit the grind in about an hour after some study, gla!

VPP Count: 1,175,371.59

Okay so gonna just cancel 2nd part of the FR as I'm not going to hit 1.25mil and I won't be able to hit 1.35mil by end of the month as my VPP/day is going to be going down and not up going fwd. So w/e I finish short at first deadline will just be it; was going to take the result that was best for me anyway (so if i missed 1.25mil but got to 1.35mil in time i owe $0, if i lost both but owed $150/person for 1.25mil deadline and only $100/person for 1.35mil deadline I'd only be paying the $100/person one) so it doesn't actually change anything.

Probs be a lot less updates once the FR is over; I don't have much to say as I'm just over here grinding away, trying to eat better, staying away from the hookers n blow....ya know, trying to act like a grown up for once

Day graph and challenge below, not that the challenge is going to be completed anyway (at least the VPP part for sure, doubt the $ part happens either tbh). Ran rlly disgusting today, oh well, better luck tomorrow hopefully

Hey slayer or the other hypersat regs viewing the thread,

How do you ensure that you are unregistered in time for different tournaments. I was using alarms on my phone, which worked well but if I wasnt playing or travelling to a new time zone this would be annoying/screw things up.

Is there any programs that can auto unregister or alert you when these things are near starting time, or perhaps alarms within the computer you can use?

On another note what advantages does he2 have compared to he1 with regard to these games?

[QUOTE=bumpking;41408687]I was playing my usual hoard of hyper satellites today and annoyingly forgot to unregister from 2 of them. I usually just shove the first few hands when that happens until I get booted (or just flat out close them if I'm really mega-tabling), but I didn't have anything pressing today and just played them out. Lucky me!

[/QUOTE

Don't know the answer, but sometimes forgetting can be profitable not me though I've lost heaps from not unregistering

Yea I just have a million alarms set, dont know of any fancy tricks although I'm sure some guys might have them.

Don't think there's a real difference between hm1 and hm2 when it comes to sats. HUD isn't that important in these games, and not as crazy of filters needed to study opponents compared to other games.

Quick update. Sitting on like 1,192,500 VPPs or something like that. Have w/e more I grind tonight, all of Saturday and then all of Sunday, wrapping it up when I'm finished on Monday early-mid morning my time after my Sunday grind.

Hoping to find my way to 1,220,000 or so, been a weird week with like 0 sat volume and sometimes very little 25bb action. Combine that with me moving down stakes/selecting my highest stakes more carefully and trying to plug some leaks before my coach headed to Vegas for a week and it's left me in a ****ty spot. On top of all of that, I didn't feel well enough to really grind yday, so I'm gonna end up being showered on this freeroll. Oh well, **** happens and I've def grinded like 100+ hours I normally wouldn't have played from handing out freerolls, so I'm still wayyyy ahead even after this loss I'll take.

Anywho, challenge cash graph + sng graph below, hopefully find some heatttt this weekend. Gla, I'll try to give another update before end of freeroll but it might just not happen.

Meh didn't get in enough volume today but traffic was slow and I was having trouble playing more than 12 tables for some reason. Mind kept wandering/too much autopiloting when I got 13-15 so kept it in the 9-12 range most of the day.

Also played a fair amount of PLO and did well. Guess since I'm not in a hurry tonight I'll post some hands below

Off to bed in a couple hours, try to grind a decently long Sunday but we'll see.

Won't be playing any more sngs until Tuesday, taking all of tomorrow off as Ruse gets back from his trip to the US and we're gonna go watch both the Mexico and Brazil games somewhere and then do a shopping trip to restock the house. Probably need a full day off anyway, been absolutely crushing the games but haven't been feeling like I've been concentrating that well in game for entire sessions which is annoying. Didn't take adderall today and won't take it tomorrow, seems if I take 2 days off of it every 2 weeks it really works well for the following ~10 days, def about that time to not take it for a couple days.

Anyway, even though I'm not gonna be grinding, planning on doing a fair amount of study in between marathon watching the rest of Entourage (currently middle of season 5, about where it goes downhill but w/e, still a good show and I'm enjoying rewatching it). Between watching vids and doing some flopzilla work on some spots I've got marked, I've got plenty to keep me busy!

Day graph and challenge graph below; gonna put my PLO experiment on hold and just play nlhe zoom/rush cash if 25bb is gross...can actually relate some of that stuff in some ways to 25bb, or at least be able to learn from it and apply something to 25bb because of it so I think it makes much more sense. Hopefully hypers will stay good and I won't have to do much of that though

Not sure when the next update will be, maybe do a weekly or biweekly update but who knows. Gla on the tables

Halfway to the profit goal, well behind VPP pace as I'm sitting on about 1,302,000 VPPs right now, but all good, been working on my game a lot over playing and seemingly paying off. Don't think I'll get to 2mil by start of WCOOP but that's okay as long as I hit the profit goal.

Gonna try to go hard the rest of the month and be to at least 1.5mil by the start of August
