i think ch0ppy will shut down with air after u called once dont you think? it just doesnt look like a spot you will be folding your sdv to the first two barrels and it looks like you have a pretty strongish range of 99-JJ, QQ, slowplayed KK-AA and QK+. rly felt like he wouldnt bluff you past the flop. like when he bet the river and you were tanking i was actually thinking he has AQ+ always but i guess thats why you called thinking he d take this line with bluffs?

rly up and down session, played 5/10 to 5/100 for 567minutes

Was down like 15k from the get go and was almost even like 10times but always lost a 1000bb flip to kimokh when i was about to get even.

-toughest reg you play with on a day to day basis?
- what makes this reg(s) "tough" or good in your opinion?
- are 100bb max games filled with short stacks? if no, then do you have a preference between those and the deep-ante tables? reasoning behind your preference?
- why do you think guys who were nosebleed players/crushers are now average midstakes players? meaning they have no choice and have to grind them, and aren't grinding them for VPP/SNE purposes. (PM me this if you are uncomfortable posting your opinion on here)

So wcoop weeks are over, kind of in a dead spot with my grind atm. Atm im that spot again for like the third time this year when i thought i was about to make it big again and finaly be able to take that step up to NL/PL 5000. But once again in thoose critical sessions i fail to score and up loosing big. I cant say im suprised but i can say that im disapointed in my self for not beeing more patience when im finaly about to have a awsome month...

Im going for a long post here, basicly i think i need to deal with my self threw this post and try to face my demons that's keeping me from just doing the right thing with my carrer as a pokerplayer.

As u can see every upswing is followed by a like just as big downswing. All theese upswings is me crushing midstakes, all the downswings is me thinking this is it and moving up in stakes just screw it up. In BBs its a pretty even graph going up

First of all what im trying to understand is why every time im on a good rush at 2/4-5/10 i have this need to jump up in stakes, when winning a 100k$ in 50k hands i cant just put in another 100k hands at the same stakes. But i have that crave to reach the top, but i just fail to do it the right way.


Mean, the first time around when i got up to NL5k i was 18, like two different times i took the shot and ended up banking huge winning sessions. How i ended falling down was kind of brutal since i got scammed. Not untill now iv'e been able to put all pieces of the pussle toghter but since i just realized how it was done i guess i just can write about it in this post.

But ask u to plz dont point any fingers, im refering to the scammers as *them* but i dont know who they are, where they live or where the money goes. I can only tell u what happend to me, and plz dont speculate about what u think u might now or whatever. I basicly think i got outplayed on another lvl in this game but i finaly now how it happend and thats enough for me.

It was like november 2009, i had been playing fulltime for like 11months since turning 18. I think i had like a ~150k$ role to my name, i was doing well at svenskaspel(The swedish state own gambling site) and bossmedia, it was kind of std to chat with the other *HS reggs* who played 50/100kr to 200/400kr u had them on msn and talked about the games etcetc.
I cant remember how but i got this guy on my MSN who was called Paymegood on both Svenska spel and Msn. He sat in some of the HS games when PLO ran and in some way we started chatting. He talked alot about Viktor Blom beeing isildur1 before the durrr match had even started and told me alot of info that kind of made me trust him.
At one point he asked me to rail him while he was crushing PLO 25/50 games at FTP and i guess i thought he must be rly good. Cant remeber his ftp screenname tho, at one point he asked me if i wanted 5k$(Blood money) on ftp to take shot with.
I said that it would be cool, he said that could just pay him back if i ran it up or ship it via bank if i would bust it. I was pretty amazed about how cool he was just shipping me 5k$ without even knowing who i was other than the screenname Leoo at pokeforum and Msn.


Anyway, i did end up running that 5k$ up to like 120k$ on ftp and sold like most of the $ to some friends prob a big dissapointment to my scammers.

Anyway, the days past by i ended up shipping his 5k$ back and said thanks for the loan. I started playing 10/20€ and 25/50€ on boss media and were just running hot. This was in december 2009 i think, dont remeber how much i won that month but think it was like ~200k$ or something like that. So far, i was not infected with the Trojan who would soon destory me.

In start of January i was ATH and well rolled to do 25/50 untill one day Paymegood writes me asking for a favor. He has a 100/200kr NLHU game running vs a regg called Besko that i had crushed a few days earlier. He wants help and say that he will cut me in for 10% if i help him with this HU game in TW and livecoach him. It's a freeroll i think so i press the infected teamwiver link he shipped me via MSN and i end up installing the trojan. The 100/200 game end up with paymegood just leaving said he dident feel to play and im like whatever.

Next day paymegood writes me on msn says he wants hu action, i play him for like maybe a 100 hands on 150/300kr and he takes 200bb snap. I just thought that this guy must be rlyrly good so i just sat out saying i dont wanna play u. He was ok with that and he went offline from msn, this was the last time i ever saw him online.

The next day im batteling prob the best regg at the site called chipspåsen on 200/400 when a player called jhonny6667 writes in the chat asking me to play him to. Im i little stuned that a regg i never seen come and ask me for action, but i felt happy to get some action so i just sat down.

And here it starts, this guy play so so wierd. He opens like 44% on the button, 3betts like 55% to my 100% button opening and just run me over. The only hand i win i 3b K9s, get called, i CB on 2s,3s,8x - Get called, turn is a Jx i bet big and he jams 200bb over me. I was already tilted out of my mind so i make the call, hit the flush and he shows me 58xx. Soon after a make a big 4b pree bluff, get called and bet big on a K,K,K flop, he snapjams over me and shows me 3,4o and im like wtf is going on here.

At first i just thought it was a wild fish, a gambler. But after a few days playing him and busting the account over and over again
. I finaly realised what was going on. I told him that i know he was scamming he just snap went offline. I tried calling the support so they could block his withdrawls but they told me basicly that it was my problem and not theirs. The site i raked over 100k kr for the months b4, since this ive been carring a deep deep hate for svenskaspel. The week after a saw this account scamming a guy i know called gretko at the HS tbls to and the account have been used again and again over the years. Dont think they even looked in to it....

Anyway it took me like 30months b4 i could make the connection between paymegood and jonny6667 since another grinder i talked to got scammed by both accounts and the exakt same way. Then all the pieces of the pussle fell into place and i finaly understood how it all happend. Only problem was i just lost like half my role on the scam and a big tilting period after as a result of my frustration and crave for taking this money back. I just forced bad action, ran horrible and in the same time i bought my first apartment. This was a pretty bad combo and i was playing untill i busted my last few cents. I then had to lend money from grinder friends to both keep playing and pay for rent etc. After like a whole 2010 of this my aparement was worth about as much as i had in debt to my friends. When i finaly sold the apartment and i had payed of all my debts i think i had like maybe ~10k$ or so.

It was always a wierd feeling with these two years 2009 and 2010 just rushing by me while i was playing nonstop and all i was left with was my mom and dads basement full of furnither and some coffe money in the bank. 2011 i grinded like pl/nl100-400 on stake for some time. None of my friends were doing well and thoose who did, well i guess they just dident belive in me cause i never got a good deal. Just got like a 50/50deal were i started with 2k€ and had to grind nl/pl100 untill i had 4k and so on. But since i had to make withdrawls to survive i never ever got anywhere. I just started playing golf again, not cause i thogut i could become a pro or anything just dident have anything else to do and when u play alot the game is rly fun. Played the qualifys for the swedish Nordea tour in oktober 2011 but failed to make the cut by like 10shots, dont regret the effort tho since my overall game got from beeing like shooting steady 85+ rounds to like beeing able to shot between par and +5-6 again.

After i missed the cut i decided that i had to do something with myself, i had to start grinding again with some sort of goal other than win the rakeraces at entraction (never won them) Got a deal with prostaker, but just ran horrible and lost ~30bi and 2/4 NLHU. Got a new deal with two other guys who wanted me for their stakes projekt, felt kind of wierd when they was asking me why i looked for nl200 stake when they had seen me play nl5k like 2years ago. Explained my story and got to play for them last novemeber, played entraction and was doing like semigood. Started more and more to play PLO and guess one of the guys saw some potential as we started to talk about PLO at pokerstars and going for supernova elit. He said if we u just can not loose and do like 1,5m hands at 1/2 plo$ we will make ~100k in bonuses. Thought like it sounded like an awsome idea, i felt hungry for the game and motivated for the task. The other guy thought it sounded like a bad idea and i went with this guy instead.


So basicly this story ends with the starting of this thread in the end of 2011. Alot have happend since then and im not with that guy anymore, basicly i think my failed 25/50$ and 50/100$ shots is what brought us apart and i play for a diffrent crew now. But here i sit again after a failed 25/50 stepup and almost a 80k$ downswing for the third time this year. I try to figure where i am and what im doing, this year was about making SNE and getting rolled again but iv'e turned in to some sort of wanting to be a NL/PL5000 regg again and stepping up every time i have 100-150k$ in the accounts to play pl5k.


Haha this post just got out of controll, its basicly just me looking back over my carrer as a player trying to figure out why im not were im wanna be and realizing that i will never get to were i wanna be if a cant make a goal, acchive it and then make another goal. I try to find these shortcuts that i made when i was a youngster gunning for the top, i keep trying to take them and i keep ruining alot of my hard work.

Guess alot emotions come up with me again rushing in the ringgames, beeing so close in the highroller wcoop and making some big missplays day 2, so close to just be back up there again were i wanna be but instead i sit here freshly busted out of wcoop main beeing almost BE for the month and im just purly dissapointed with how things turned out for september. Meanwhile i see my midstakes kamrat oddsen doing his thing on HS and i just feel that im not that far behind gamevice even tho while his steppin higher and higher i keep falling down again and again.


But no matter what i will not give up, i will never give up. I just need to make it the right way, scramble toghter thoose 500k$ on midstakes step up, tbl selcet a little and just grind.


U few u actully read this, ty going to chill the last week of september. Play a little golf, fix a little with the apartment (( rental this time )) and i will go full throtel i Oktober, was thinking of San Remo, but dont think I deserve it. Also i signed with a coaching site and my first contract is for 26videos, will be alot of work but think its going to help alot to. - When the vids drop, ill tell ya all were to find them!

Pretty sick story....I thought u were doing really well this month / last month shipping tourneys and crushing high stakes, I guess things aren't always what they seem. Gl for the rest of the year man.
