I dont understand how you can say that man. It seemed to me that everything was going good and you were having 30k plus months and then the next day, after your session, your talking about quitting poker... I dont get how things can turn around so fast?

hey sir great thread ive actually just came across it last nite and read halfway then internet cutt off first time in 6months but then i got back on today just to read the rest of it as ive just started plo online from april this year and was looking for a few plo threads going to see how ppl r doing at the game as ive played it live for a decent bit the last few years but never online as i dreaded the swings in plo online as nlh is bad enough sometimes but here i am 3months on and ive had the biggest ups and downs in my poker career and had the sense+discipline to stop before i went bust

have u ever read the mental game of poker as that was a big help for me in coping with the swings from poker id strongly recommend it if u haven't

after speaking to friend that i play live with and first thing that he made clear to me was cut ur tables down as ur play and focus will improve alot and so i did then when i got back on track i can actually play an extra table than my max before and find it quiet easy + my sessions seem to get longer aswell without even pushing myself, and ul prob get bored when uve less tables going as ur used to being busier as i find myself sitting looking for things to do when theres only 6tables going at my stake and ive knocked the shots at higher stakes on the head til ive built my roll up a decent bit for a 10bi shot and if i lose i can still stay at my usual limit plo200

Jiiiises, sick night.... Me and all other reggs got scooped by new russian superlag Genedir. He plays like p0krparty on acid Never seen him win b4 but after this night he went from role on the tbls to book like a 20-30k session on 3/6 i think


I had a horrible session turned ~ok, lost 17k str8 out on 9tbls. Never even thought about quitting and when games died i was down about ~8k, played a little NL and won 6bi in 200 hands Total for the night is -4,5k but def feels ok after thinking about hanging my self for a while!

with the deepness, shouldnt you think of 3/6 as 5/10 and 5/10 as 10/20?

Why would you put yourself through this? I mean, yes, in the extremely ridiculously absurdly long run this might be a winning play, but not like it matters in PLO. I don't see how anybody has a definite edge in these games (except against complete fish). Wouldn't you be better off grinding NL, even though it might be less action heavy? Or are you happy getting it in pre like this, 1 billion bbs as a slight favorite?

Even if he breaks even the whole year he is going to make a tonne from the VIP System but hes clearly a winning player. I would love to break even all year and make a 100k in VIP Rewards.
