Hi all,

I like so many others have been playing and enjoying our favourite past time on and off for a few years. I haven't played poker much at all over the last year or so but I'm getting back into it now.

I am creating this thread to hopefully get feedback from you guys on my progress and site selection and hopefully get some quality tips from you guys.

I am going to be starting on 888 poker with a $100 bankroll. I think ill start at 6nl which gives me almost 17 buyins. Ill be 6-8 tabling mostly 6max cash tables on there.

Ill do regular updates and hope to speak to you guys and get feedback soon. Cheers.

Well I had a session on 888 poker but I have to say I cannot stand there software and the time banks are ridiculously low so its beeping at you none stop and made me time out a few times.

I felt the games were great but it was only 6nl but my hate of there software got the better of me.

It feels like everything is so rushed on that site and I was just 6 tabling. I am going to cashout the 133 roll and move it to a site with a better software.

I am thinking FTP but if anyone has any better suggestions please let me no.

Well I went ahead and moved the roll to FTP so ill be playing on there for the time been. I only play max of 8 tables so I can get the volume I need on there and the software is way way better.

So progress so far here is my 888 graph

Here is my FTP graph so far

The roll has now gone from starting $100 upto $152.

Well I tried to play as much as I possibly could on FTP over the last day but sadly on that site there is just no traffic, I'm really struggling to get 6 tables mixing 5nl and 10nl on there. I look at the 25nl, 50nl, and 100nl lobbies and there is 1 table running for each.

So I guess I'm just going to have to get used to 888 software and put the roll back on there least there is plenty of traffic on that site. Sadly the time banks seriously suck.

If anyone has a better site with a good mix of software, traffic and time bank please let me no.

So ill give an update of my FTP results.

My 888 was up $33 before moving the $133 over to FTP so good news is I have managed to almost double the roll with it now being $198.

End of day 2 and the roll is now up to $242. I'm gonna move up to $10nl and hopefully I manage to avoid any immediate downswing and be able to stay there for a while.

I am going to attempt a more aggressive bankroll management which will require me to move up and down quicker then may be optimal but I feel its better as I could potentially move up stakes much quicker.

Here is updated 888 graph which is continuing on from where I left off on 888.

End of day 3

Had another good session today which brings the roll upto $302 now so I shouldn't have to drop below 10NL I wouldn't expect which is nice.

Ill have a crack at 20NL once I'm up to $450 and then if I run bad drop back to 10NL if the roll goes down to $350.

Here the total 888 graph.

I don't like the fact there doesn't seem like much rake back benefits on 888 and there seems to be a million vip levels I seem to be going up a level every session atm.

The software I'm learning to deal with and getting better with it so see how things go.
