overall I played good in beginning of the session, the AA vs JJ hand tilted me a bit because it was so obvious aftewards. There were spots where I owned him but overall he is just a better player. Glad to played this match, not so glad I continued playing even do I was tilted from all those hitnrunning scumregs

I played some guy that I know IRL for hours (and several days) HU online at homegames with play money (but actually for real money). He tilted and wanted to play for more and more. After a few hours I could read his ranges perfectly. I was up 7 buyins playing 100NL. Then he only wanted to play 100buyinHUSNG.

Conclusion: Im up 1250 against him and I dont want to give him action anymore untill I see some of that money but I doubt he ever is going to give it. Hes a gamble addict but stays out of debts because hes a DJ. He says hes going have 7K coming in around mid juli. I really doubt if I ever going to see my money...

what happened last months

I was getting really frustrated at VC poker because of the increasing number of shortstacks. They block up your preflop play and have a huge impact on your winrate. All you can do is play their own game and you never going to do better then breakeven vs them. Also there werent anymore fish around. I wasnt playing good, getting tilted, even getting my results under zero (withouth rakeback),...

So I moved to Stan James to clear a bonus of 1Keuros and enjoy a temporary offer of 40-50procent RB.

Overall since I started this thread

I learnt motivation is key to becoming a good poker player. During this year I had short bursts of motivation but losing it everytime very quickly when I got ****ty results. When I showed 0.xxbb/100 over like 80K at VC hands I just stopped playing. You need to be able to rely on 'Im a good player and I will win in the longterm'-mindset to be able to play without tilt.

Now at SJ I enjoy poker again (+ the constant improving) with the absence of shortstack ****s. I still have a lot to try out and learn. Too bad I have to study and I wont be able to play anymore till end september
