Hello everyone,

This will be my poker journal for the rest of 2019 where I try to reach my main poker goal this year and that is to become a 200nl regular. I told myself that if I did not make 200nl by the end of the year I would give poker up. I have been playing semi seriously for a few years now made a decent amount just playing micros, mostly 25 and 50nl. I want to start making real money now. I want to see if I have what it takes to move up the stakes this year.

At the start of 2019 I was playing 50nl across a few of the American sites. I am currently in the middle of a shot at 100nl and so far my results have been pretty lackluster. Ive started neglecting a lot of the work off the table and lost a bit of motivation as of late. I need to get things back on track in a big way which is why I decided to make this poker journal as a way to both reflect on things and also to hold myself accountable. Its time to get to work!

Getting off to a bit of a slow start today but I'm ready to kick it into another gear here and start crushing this week. Poker wise I hope things go a lot better because my results on the table were not good. Here is my graph from last week.

So yea... some really tough sessions last week. I only had 2 very small winning days. It was pretty frustrating.

Despite **** results last week I do have a few positive things to take away from it all. One of the main things is I have been playing a lot more than usual. I was lacking motivation the last few weeks and I managed to put in a decent amount of hours this week which I am happy with. Need to make sure I am playing my A game the entire time though... I'll work on that. Maybe a few more breaks during sessions will help keep my focus up.

Last night after my final session for the week I did some reflecting. I wrote down what an optimal day in my life these days should look like and compared it to what I have actually been doing. Lets just say I am great at procrastinating and leaving things until the last minute. I also created a list of goals for this coming week. I'm hoping that it will help keep things on track, organized and help me get the most out of every single day.

Looking forward to the grind this week. Lets get started!
