I'm about to get some coffee. But I wanted to get into one of these first. Today has been ****ing lame. Woke up sick, so from the start it's been pure ****.
I took my dog for a walk this morning, and some idiot kid was riding his bike, playing Pokemon Go, and had his big ass German Shepherd running along side him. No leash on the dog. Mine is a 65lb German Shepherd mix. The other dog, about 80lbs I'd guess.
So of course this dog approaches my dog. Mine is on the leash, and I try to tell mine to stay calm. He doesn't like unleashed dogs running up on him. Not sure any dog does. Anyways, a fight breaks out. I kicked the other ****in dog, and the fight ends. I yell at the stupid kid for not having his big dog on a leash. The kid says sorry, I leave, and take my dog to the park.
Like I said, I need coffee. I want to play some poker today, too. My goal for the day is to play 16 SNGs, full ring and 6max. I want to win at least 4. That's my goal.
Each day, I'll set another goal. I'll also add a backstory at some time, as well as fill in some stories from the past to keep this entertaining.
Now, time to get caffeinated, and get this shipwreck started.
Ran like absolute cancer the other day. Dropped about $200 playing SNGs and MTTs.
Playing PLO8 SNGs right now on Ignition. I'm going to start playing a lot more PLO and PLO8 from now on. The players in NLHE are a lot better now, as we all know. Players in the other variations of poker seem to make bigger mistakes more often. I've played a ton of of PLO and hi/lo in the past, and I think I can beat the lower stakes games.
We'll see how this session goes. The bad news is I'm still sick. Good news is I didn't have to kick any dogs today.
Working today, till 5pm. Still sick, but think I'm getting slightly better. It's one of those illnesses where I'm coughing up gnarly **** after waking up. Then after a couple of hours, it's just a dry cough mostly and overall malaise. This morning I'm pretty congested and feel a slight fever. I'd go to the doctor, but like most other scumbags, I don't have health insurance. Gonna have to fight this crap the old fashioned way.
Last night I played a 3 hour session on Ignition of strictly PLO and PLO8 SNGs and MTTs. Turned a profit of $26, after running under EV in some pretty big all in spots. It was refreshing to play strictly PLO/PLO8 and I think I'll keep at it.
Gonna put in a session tonight as well. My realistic volume goal is 8-10 SNGs as I have to work tomorrow morning as well.
Meanwhile, I'll try to shake this evil sickness, and try not to infect anyone else.
