Folding the river would be quite terrible when every FD, T9 and any other random air (eg Txhh) in his range bricks the river. Or else just fold the turn. If villain is incapable of playing stronger Jx like this I think the calldown is perfectly reasonable.

Tough sessions today dude, take a timeout and go get drunk

Hello imfromsweden,

I've skimmed through the entire thread, and would like to say thank you for sharing your thought process on some of the hands; I play NL100 HU myself, so I've found it very useful to see how/what you think about the hands in various spots.

This thread has been amusing, and has taught me a thing or two.

I hope you keep up the good work and run better in the future.

Played some 200nl & 400nl tonight instead, and OMG, the difference is HUGE. I mean, wow, it's like it's not even the same game. People are so much less aggresive, take face up lines, less leveling, straight forward play, and LOTS of fish. Despite losing with top set vs. a FD, I still ended up 2 BI's.

I guess being well rolled also helps

OP, I think you need to check your ego at the door and move down in stakes. I honestly beleive you can crush the 100NL-400NL. Have you thought about getting a 1000NL coach? Don't play higher when you are running bad it is recipe for disaster.

I'm a noob and I have a question on this hand.

On what range do you put your opponent when:
1) He halfs a dry board after checking back flop 3 way
2) You c/r about 4x his bet
3) He min3bets
4) You min4bets

So you think he jams Ax and Kxdd Qxdd types hands too when you 4bet that board? Or eventually hands that hits combradw fd and sd on the turn but check behind flop like 56dd 34dd 45dd?

Umm, I have a middle set, and it's not like he ever has the straight. He could very well go have bottom set/2pair/ or even spazz out with pair + FD (and/or SD). This is super standard.

why does he not have the straight? since that is how he played 77, he has the straight pretty much everytime a fish cold calls 64s vs an open.

Not saying the hand could of played out differently, a minbetting drooler like this shows up with the wackiest hands and you are pretty pot committed

Oh, and the withdrawl just got through. I was delighted to see that Neteller had stolen 600$ out of my 10k.

Hopefully I'll be able to play a bit on FTP tonight

tbh ifs, with your grind ethic and not being able to put in that long sessions, you'd be better off bumhunting hu than what you're doing now. You'd also be ableto move up quicker to achieve your goal.

That would be like cheating I want to crush all levels first. If things really start to go downhill, I might do a bit of bumhunting though. Since I'm splitting my roll on 3 sites, getting action shouldn't really be as big of a problem.
