You are obviously a good player, but $170k is nowhere near enough to be 4 tabling regs at 25/50.

I'm not a bankroll nit and I'd be wanting somewhere around $300k for shots, you can easily lose 40/50k in a bad session.

I agree that it sounds like you're taking some extremely aggressive shots at very tough games! Might wanna hang off on the 25/50 action imo. Then again, the quicker you take on and beat NL$5k, the quicker you get to nosebleeds!!! Weeeeee

lol c'mon people, I'm betting he probs has set a certain amount a side like 2-4 BI's or something for a shot at 25/50 and move back down if he busts that. And if he can lose 40/50k in a bad session, he can just as easily win 40/50k in a good session (providing he's not a huge underdog obv). How's that different from moving up from 2/4 to 3/6 etc?!

he wants to hit the nosebleeds, just let him be.

Yeah this. Wouldn't wanna lose more than 20k

25/50 already? Wow, you are just sick!

Congrats

which games (mid to high stakes) do you think are easier to beat hu or 6max?

Probably depends on what type of person you are. For most, I would guess 6max.

urgh, what's e^0.2x = x^2 ? Anyone knows?

eº·²×=x²

e = mathematical constant

If you mean (e^0.2)*x=x^2, then x=e^0.2. If however you mean e^(0.2x)=x^2, then I don't think there is a closed form expression for the solution. You can transform that equation into x= 10 ln x, which has exactly one solution, at around 35.8

try this:

Or http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=e^%280.2x%29+%3D+x^2

So there are actually more solutions.

That's one of the solutions that Wolfram gives.

I'm not allowed to use Wolfram

What are you allowed to use? And what class is that?

It's "math D" as it's called in swedish, it's about sinus and cosinus and stuff, but also derivates and e and stuff like that.

I'm allowed to use a calculater, pen and paper.

Well if you put it in Wolfram as this "e^(0.2x) = x^2"
Then the answer is x = 1.11833

I'm so pathetic, but this is really bugging me.

e^(0.2x) = x^2

ln(x^2) = 0.2x

2ln(x) = 0.2x

ln(x) = 0.1x

Now, I'm stuck. Like wtf . I used to be sick at maths... I won't sleep easy tonight

Btw
Are you sure you need to solve it?
(I mean show how you do?)

e^0,2x = x^2

Put it in the calculator use 2nd Calc (asumeing you use TI-83 plus or something)
Take intersect, and search the curves... It will give you the answer
x1 = -0,9127653
x2 = 1,11833

Gush everybody should listen to Jack Sparrow with The Lonely Island... amazing song.

Sick progress brother. I've been following this thread and am amazed at how well you've done for yourself. I see you took a shot at the 25-50 tables and did quite well and I'm just curious, do you plan on continuing at those stakes or is it still a bit high for you? Keep up the posting! It's exciting, and I think everyones cheerin for ya!
