You obviously know what you’re doing and go go go, but just a question regarding BRM: Are you sufficiently rolled for 1k nl or 3/6. Just in case you hat a 10bi down swing. Will you move down? Have you thought about it?

Great thread though! GL

Well, I think 30 BI is enough.

And yes, if I lost 10 BI I would obviously move down. Luckily, I do not have a problem with this (went from 2knl --> 100nl, due to scamming, cashing out, and downswinging)

so the A2 hand where u barrel 3 streets and bet $300 in to $500 on the river putting him on Jx Qx kinda hand and only calling with KQ+ - how do you work out he needs to fold 35% of the time to make this play profitable?

Couple of questions on this one. Can I ask your thought process for calling the flop and folding the turn? Did you consider calling the turn? If you were to call the turn, would you also be calling every river? Did you expect villain to give up with his flop bluffs on K/A turns? Did you have a read?

The just K seems like the perfect barreling card for villain to continue betting with his entire range and probably a fairly bad card for your range unless you peeled the flop with something like exactly KT+ or trips. What are you doing with 55? And aren't 55 and AJ basically the same hands? what about 87?

We think a bit further than that.

He has played enough with me to know that I know that the King is a good barreling card. He therefore expects me to fold no hands that I peeled flop with. Therefore, he's doing it for value a large amount of the time, and even if he bluffs, I expect him to ship 100% of rivers. And I had a feeling it wasn't gonna be profitable to hero call down here with AJo for 100bbs.

But yea, I normally peel/shove turn here with AJ aginst regs.

Fair enough... but what can you continue with there?

Yeah, he knows you know that he knows it's a good barreling card, etc... that's almost certainly true, but does it matter? After all, it's also probably true that even with that dynamic, you're still going to have to fold like 90%+ of the time. That makes it a good barreling card no matter how far ahead you're thinking, doesn't it?

The K seems like a great barreling card even if you both know it's a great barreling card... in fact, based on your post, it almost seems like villain should barrel this K more often against you because you know it's a great barreling card, and you're going to expect his range here to be weighted more to value than you'd normally expect in this spot.

No, if anything he should expect me to call 90% of the time. All PPs I called flop with, he expects me to call again. All A-high he thinks I'll call again with.

Sure, but I don't think he's on that level (yet).

I just keep running into hands again and again and again and again. It's SICKENING. And when I lose 1 buy in I ALWAYS LOSE 5 MORE. Even if I could see my opponents cards, I'd still lose. So far I've always quit when I felt the tilt is coming, but apparantly that's not enough. I prolly need to stop once I lose 1 buy-in, but that's just ridicilous.

No ****ing idea why I keep losing at the ****ing rigged 600nl level, but I'll move back to 200 & 400 now for a while, to rebuild confidence.

7/9 hands all in as a big underdog, you were the aggressor and dominated the whole time. Perhaps it's time to nit it up a bit on the SH tables and take a break from the heads up? I think moving down in stakes is a great idea.

Best of luck to you and look forward to more updates.

Hmm, maybe the problem might have something to do with the fact that many of the guys I play HU normally play 1knl+ HUNL :/
