I have been working the last few days so have rarely got the chance to play.

Played the shortest of sessions today and it went extremely well. Still running hot!! I am out of that small downswing thankfully.

I don't think I will make this weeks volume goal. I should get close to it though.

Today's graph:

Right... now for the world cup!!

Hopefully I can get in a good session tomorrow!
GL!!

been running extremely hot in the last 2 days. Volume has been lacking lately. Just me being lazy/not motivated plus world cup. I will look at getting down a schedule to work around the world cup

Anyway graph since last update:

Running massively over ev this week.

Now off to watch some football matches.

GL!!

good few days, a word of advice, don't quantify your weight loss goal in that way (1kg a week), instead you should take every measure to do your best towards that goal and let the results happen naturally

Thanks man. Yeah will do that from now on. Need to get back exercising as I have been wayy to lazy

Here's a hand I wanted to ask about. I am not great at end game calling ranges in these spots (<10bbs in BB). I don't have icmizer so not sure. I hope to get it when bankroll gets above 1.5kish.

Anyway, this villain was extremely tight IP in the 1st level of the match. In the 2nd/3rd blind level he became a bit more aggro. Villain adopted more of a push/fold strategy when stacks became shorter, he threw a rare limp once or twice. He was still a bit tight in end game (more folding than OS)

So simple question can we call his shove when this short?

PokerStars - $14.69+$0.31|20/40 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 575
SB: 425 (VPIP: 42.37, PFR: 22.81, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 64)

SB posts SB 20, Hero posts BB 40

Pre Flop: (pot: 60) Hero has Q 8

SB raises to 425 and is all-in, Hero ?

Also semi interesting hand:

I had no reads on his limping range. 2nd hand of the match. Can we ever call this? I would think we are up against 8x with a diamond most of the time plus 2 pair that wants to be spazzy.
PokerStars - $14.69+$0.31|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 500 (VPIP: 62.26, PFR: 42.31, 3Bet Preflop: 10.53, Hands: 59)
Hero (BB): 500

SB posts SB 10, Hero posts BB 20

Pre Flop: (pot: 30) Hero has 5 7

SB calls 10, Hero checks

Flop: (40, 2 players) 4 8 5
Hero checks, SB bets 480 and is all-in, Hero ?,

2nd one you are getting 0 odds in a flipping/way behind situation

1st one is closer q8s is a call at ~10 blinds vs some people

Yeah I thought the Q8s was a call in game. I did a small bit of work on icmizer and from the ranges I gave him it was pretty marginal. Thanks for the input.

weekly update.

[] 450 SNGs Fail. only got in 224 games
[] 3% Ev roi very big fail 0.62%
[X] review those god damn sessions
[X] study (duh!!)

so the last 2 days have been very good results wise. Today though, I threw away my Ev for the week from playing a few regs. Mostly became a calling station against them with 2nd pair in a lot of situations vs them. I stopped playing regs around game 30. Pretty sure it was just atrocious play by me and not that they got lucky.

Yesterday graph:

Today's graph:

Weekly graph:

Confirmed that OP is just a 0.5% grinder and gets lucky all the time.

Weekly goals

[] 350 SNGs
[] 3% ev roi
[] 5 hours of study

Bankroll stands at $1285. Hope to get the Coffeeyay Hud when I reach $1500.

GL all!

Thanks man glad your enjoying it.

Okay yesterday didn't go so well. Again mostly bad play and coolers.

I got in my daily volume goal though.

Yesterday's graph:

the ev line isn't exactly accurate (but it's probably close to what it should be) as when I refreshed the graph the ev line kept changing. Some hands were probably not imported properly.

I Think both the Q8s and 57o is pretty easy folds vs most people, keep the good work going and GL

Thanks for the input. I do think the 75o is an extremely easy fold. For the Q8s hand, I am still kind of on the fence probably leaning towards a fold though.

Thanks man I am going to need all the luck I can get now that I am in a downswing

Well today went exactly the same as yesterday. at least it wasn't as bad results wise. Running a decent bit under ev but meh ran insanely above ev last week!!

Today's graph:

Hope I can get out of this downswing. I can't deny that it is affecting my decision making. Really annoying because it shouldn't

-15bi downer has to be pretty standard. Im playing these huht's also. 3.5-15s have all started with a 10bi downswing or worse for me, you'll be alright . GL, subbed and see you at the tables probably.

Thanks man Yeah I know it's pretty standard. The last downswing I was in, I just played my normal game and I got out of it pretty quickly. This one however is affecting my play.

Just to show 2 lol examples.

Hand 1 (read less):

PokerStars - $14.69+$0.31|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 440 (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
Hero (SB): 560

Hero posts SB 10, BB posts BB 20

Pre Flop: (pot: 30) Hero has 3 5

Hero raises to 40, BB calls 20

Flop: (80, 2 players) 3 K 4
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (80, 2 players) 5
BB bets 40, Hero calls 40

River: (160, 2 players) Q
BB bets 40, Hero calls 40

Lol should be raising that on the river. Just a question I have though, do we go for a nai raise (if so what sizing) or just shove?

And this is just lol bad. Still laughing about my play on the river. he had a boat obv

PokerStars - $14.69+$0.31|15/30 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 465 (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 43.90, 3Bet Preflop: 37.50, Hands: 45)
Hero (BB): 535

SB posts SB 15, Hero posts BB 30

Pre Flop: (pot: 45) Hero has 9 K

SB raises to 60, Hero calls 30

Flop: (120, 2 players) 2 4 2
Hero checks, SB bets 50, Hero calls 50

Turn: (220, 2 players) 3
Hero checks, SB bets 120, Hero calls 120

River: (460, 2 players) 6
Hero checks, SB bets 30, Hero raises to 305 and is all-in, SB calls 205 and is all-in

Don't really know what I was thinking with that play.

Still on the downswing. so many coolers and terrible card distribution plus not winning my flips

At least I am out of the downswing ev wise. At least that's a positive.

Bankroll now $920.

Today's graph:

Also another positive is that I didn't take a stupid tilt shot at 30s

Yeah.. so today.. hmm hard to describe it really. Still on the downswing. Now bankroll stands at 706. Worst day of it.

I might take a few days off to go over play and all that jazz. Also need to learn how to win flips!!

Today's graph:

Also running at break even ev for the week.

Here's the whole downswing:

At least I am still playing 15s. That'a a positive

Took the weekend off. went over some poker stuff.

Still running like aids and it's starting to get to me. I can't seem to win a game.

running 50+ BI under ev and ev is at break even which is ****ing me off!

Today's graph:

I don't know now if I should continue at 15s or move down to 7s. Or stop playing hypers altogether

Okay I have decided I am going to stick with hypers, it was never in doubt

I am going to move down to 7s as I really don't think I have the roll for 15s right now. I certainly don't have the roll for these swings. I also want to bring back some confidence to my game.

Bankroll is $545. I will move up to 15s when I get between 900 and 1000. Then I would be somewhat rolled for it. I will move back down to 7s at 700, giving me close to a 20 BI shot.

Hopefully I can turn things around.

ya, 50 bi below ev is nothing in hypers, I've run 100bi+ below ev at 30s in one month. Got out of it eventually... I would suggest shooting for $15s with $750 in br and take a 15bi shot, then move down if u fail.. More agressive approach but def the faster route... $525 for $7s is more than enough as a br.
