Played some hypers over the weekend, lolvolume of course, but I ran well.
Also went to the casino, lost £260 in the softest 1/1 game on the planet, which was quite an achievement. Didn't lose much more than £50 on any one hand, but literally won 1 hand in 4 hours of play.
Biggest pots. All 9 handed. Eff stack $170ish
My hand K
Qd
Young asian limps in early position, he hadn't played a hand over a short sample but bought in for like £160 rather than £200 so I presumed he wasn't a reg.
One more limper and I pop it up to £7 from one before the cut off. Two calls from super splashy fishes (SSF). Asian repops it £21. At this point I'm like 99% sure he has aces but I wanna keep up my 100% lifetime record of calling 3 bets with K,Qs and flat (I actually think it's fine as the SSF probably aren't going anywhere), one of the SSF calls from the blinds and we go to the flop with like £80 in the pot.
Flop K,9,x 1 diamond. Asian quickly bets like £50. I have to be honest and say I genuinely don't know what the correct play is here, but I flat. SSF gets out of the way.
Turn. Asian puts me all in. I fold. He seemed a bit pissed off when I told him I folded a K, he told me he had aces and his later play pretty much confirmed this to me.
Second biggest hand (just to show how I donked off all my money in small increments)
Eff £200
Reg opens to £5 after a couple of early folds. I have 9,7
and decide to repop it to £15 from the cut off. I did this for a couple of reasons: 1) He was using online phrases in a really donky manner: 2) He had a better Iphone than me:3) I had a nitty image and figured he'd show me some goshdarn respect.
Flop comes down 10,7,2 all spades. He checks, I bet half-pot, he raises to like £50. I fold. He shows A
10
.
One more hand, this could actually be the second biggest loser, I'm not sure. Only hand I'm pissed off with how I played. Only history between us is me raising in earlyish position, him calling behind, me c-bet/call flop. Check/check turn. Check/he bets/fold river.
Folded round to me in the sb (
). I look down at K,Jo and raise to 6. Young, aggro guy with the haughty demeanor of a guy who probably beats 10nl calls in the BB. He was probably the second best player at the table
Flop is like 674 twotone. I c-bet (I think this may be bad). He calls.
Turn is a 10, putting two flush draws out there. I barrel for like £13. He calls. I think this was certainly bad.
River is a Q, completing the flush draw that was available on the flop. I decide to bet around 70% ($30ish?) of the pot. He jams for like £37 more. I fold and he shows A,4 for a bluff. Was a really impressive move until he started explaining his thought process.
Not a great day in all, the incredibly pretty dealer didn't see me lose though, so I hope I'm still a winner in her eyes.
Sickest thing about the day is that I had a portion of chips that cost me literally £100s in equity. Let me explain: because of said chips I arrived 5 minutes later than planned, and just missed getting a seat in the juiciest game I've ever seen. These two Iranian guys managed to lose over £2k between them in like an hour, in a £1/1 game!! It was bloody incredible, they were drunk and just spaffing off chips left, right and centre. Jamming pre blind, calling all ins with like J,3o, stuff like that. Every single other player at the table (most of them not winning players themselves) won at least £200! The two guys eventually got kicked out of the casino for fighting with each other in the smoking area, what a night!
Online graph for the weekend-
GL everyone!
