Hey 2+2,

Ever since discovering 2+2, i've always been hooked on poker. Like many people, i started off as a huge fish (hopefully not so much now), depositing $50 and going broke several times. Up till 6 months ago, that's how things went, until i started to take poker a bit more seriously.

Recently, i've been reading; reviewing and playing a lot more, and have taken an interest in HUSNGs on stars. I currently have a subscription to a HUSNG coaching site (my deucescracked subscription expired; and they don't have all that much HUSNG material atm), which seems to be pretty solid, all be it, a little expensive

Bit of a poker background

As i said, i started playing poker as a complete recreational player, losing deposits left and right, but not really taking any notice of it. Until recently, i was playing 25NL/50NL FR on stars, which was fun, but not really as interesting as i consider HU poker to be. This led me to multi-table wayyyyy too many tables and eventually led to me losing X amount of buy-ins needlessly. This made me think that change was in order, which is what has led me to HUSNG's

My Challenge

I'm starting at $15's (low stakes) SNGs, and hope to eventually be able to be a baller in the high stakes (no real time window is in effect at the moment). This will be done with proper BRM (currently $750/50BI's), and i will take shots when i have 40BIs for the next level (so $1200 for the $30s).

I'll be posting on this thread daily (hopefully), with HH's and how my understanding of HUSNGs is getting better as i take some off table time to study.

This should be fun, all posters are welcome ofc!

Spent a good few hours today doing a bit of off table study. At the $15 level, as long as you play solid +EV poker, you'll be fine. I don't think any fancy plays are needed against all the loose-passive/aggro fish, so i've gone over all the fundamentals; from ranges and bet-sizing, to player types and flop textures and equities vs different ranges.

Hopefully i can get a solid few hours of 1 tabling in later; and i can post my results, as i will after each session.
