Am I the only one who feels this way, but... It's kinda depressing to see that one of the top pnf and current nlh crushers has only won c1.2m over a 8 year long career.

If you peaked even 3 years earlier that would be 5m.

Poker has chaaaaanged!

Plus no disrespect to you fox, you've done incredibly well!

Did you notice the amt of hands he's played? Don't remember what all he was playing on, but he has 400k hands showing. A lot of lower grinders can grind more hands than that in a year easily. Not to mention, the top players are making this in a year. OP's graph is far from bad, but if that 400k hands is over an 8 yr long career, the man is actually living an awesome life with little focus on poker. I read this thread a few days ago, so I don't remember it all, but if he's ballin out on 150k/yr on avg with a whopping 50k sample in a 12 month period, the guy has one of the best lives imaginable.

Did he say that the graph in the OP is his lifetime hands?

400k hands in 8 years? Do you 1 table twice a week or something?
High stakes players diary Quote

I guarantee the amount of hours fox has played is comparable of a 2/4 - 5/10 reg playing c1m hands.

25/50 nlh + doesn't run like other games, plus need to consider game selection.

Again done incredibly well, but considering the variance of games he plays (whereby $800k was won in 20k hands), it's kinda depressing to see such low winnings.

Yes I am still standing
Decide to leave the island of curacao for a little while. Was about 25 reasons to stay and 9 reasons to leave however a more of an emotional weight on the 9.

I think it was an overabundance of impressions that made my memory’s from my hometown fade a bit to much. As I am attached to these memory’s it made me forget about myself a bit making focusing on anything very difficult.

So I jumped on a plain and 18 hours later I was home and I have been so for almost a week now. Still don’t feel like my nausea has left me. But things are more lucid here which I like.

In terms of poker playing I spent a lot of time on hyper 6max sngs first some weeks where I did study icm and then some weeks playing them.
As I like to wake up early in the morning even more so in the winter when sun hours are limited. It makes them a nice addition to my cash game tables.

I have some goals things I like to improve it would be become better at spending more quality time. I am and have been for a very long time a total degen when it comes to spending time.
I probably have too much and care to little.
I do a lot of things with the reason of good things can come from it, that’s true with most things however some are better then others, this I like to become better at. Will try to become more gto there.
So going to explore some of my habits a bit and becoming bit more pro IRL.

Other projects include
strike against stars, poker coaching, win some money ,pray for bitcoins, read some books, post some graphs

this year not sure I have played on to many computers.

I never played more then maybe 1k hours/ year tho probably not more then 850.

I allways been more of a hobby player then a pro in my attitude to poker.
In the way that when I wake up in the morning I am not a poker player a lot of days I become a poker player for the day some other days something else.

Hi everyone
I think its time I make an update
Been home in sweden now over the holidays a few more days then I expected as I was looking at apartments in stockholm which made my stay a bit longer then expected.

Anyway going back to curacao where I will be to the end of February.

Will start off the grinding with some online mtts looking forward to try them. I never really played them as always tough and still do that the hourly is a lot worse probably 3-4x as worse. But when one have played poker for 10 years its nice to mix it up a bit.

This was also one of the reason why I played some hypers in the end of last year. Another reason is just that it makes it more easy to give advice on them for my students.

Another year I love it!!!!!!! 2015 was my most fun year yet hope to beat that in 2016 join me guys

Peace
