Slow start to the month, but have had the opportunity to get some study sessions in which is nice.

Things are overall going quite well for me in life, but between a lot of responsibilities and commitments, I have been neglecting staying fit for a while now. So to motivate myself I'm going to offer a free roll, that over the next week if I don't exercise at least 3 times I'll pay $100 (as long as I don't get injured). Rarely works out for me, but hopefully I can keep rolling it over and keep in good shape.

Since I also really like games, I'm not going to do the standard boring first person to post gets the freeroll, I'm going to make it more fun. The person who posts closest to 10AM server time (EDT - about 10.25 hours from now) without going over gets the freeroll. If someone posts one hour from now and someone posts in 2 hours, the person who posted last wins. The GTO posting time would 9:59. If two people post at 9:59 exactly, whoever shows up latest in post order wins.

The line that I use simply treats every 500 chipev won as $95.
Ah, that would explain it. PT4 is calculating my all in cashing at about twice the rake I have paid (on the negative side) but my all in chip ev as positive. I need to play around with PT4 a little more before I pull the trigger on writing some code to leak find better. I know I have a ton of leaks right now, but I also was pretty sure my results and all in ev lines probably shouldn't have been diverging so much over time.

Haha, we got some excitement! Good effort by both of you, but only playr gets the win. Don't worry xtyme, there will be more opportunities, hopefully I don't fail my challenge on the first week.

Been a bit of a lazy bum the past week but I need that sometimes.

I got one gym session in and have the dodgeball finals for all the glory later today, so I should be good to get one more exercise session in this week.

I've developed a bit of an unhealthy obsession with the board game 'can't stop!', which has basically stopped me from doing anything productive lately. I should consider quitting that game. GF did make me this amazing brunch though, so I consider the weekend to be productive overall.

Spoiler:

I'd say I'm going to play some poker now, but I guess I'll just play another game of can't stop instead

Life

Dodgeball final was exciting. Our best player broke a foot and second best player broke a finger, so we were two down, I ended up staying on the whole game and was pretty gassed at the end. Had a couple times where I was the last guy against 2-3 of them and managed to pull off a victory, which kept us tied/up by one for most of the match. We only had two subs though while they had two full lines and in the last couple games we lost in heartbreaking fashion. Anyways thats workout #2 for the week.

Played a soccer match tonight, which makes workout number 3 and success on the first week of my freeroll! I'll keep it going for week 2, I'll roll $25 over for a 125 free roll starting April 14. For this challenge your goal is to post closest to 11am server time (11 hours from now) without going over. That means 10:59 is GTO.

Poker

Had an itch to play some HUSNGs, so I tried challenging a 60s, couldn't get much action though. All-in-all I'm really glad I'm out of the politics and drama of the husng world, even if spins are raked in ridiculous fashion. Played about 10 games, won a bit of money, then switched back to spins for a nice small heater:

Work
Going to be a really brutal day tomorrow, as we've had some technical issues and are now three days behind. So if I disappear for the next few days I don't want you guys to worry!

Not much competition this week, looks like you backed into the free roll unintentionally

There are so many statuses someone could have {rec, other format reg, lower reg, trier, division reg, higher reg} and each one of those would have gotten a different response from him. It also put me in the awkward situation of having to intuit their internal rules to figure out what response would get me action.

At the same time in order to play more games I had to either wait till he got a lobby or sit one of the other regs. At the time one guy was someone I've coached and the other was a higher stakes friend, so I didn't want to sit them. This feature is certainly a benefit of the format, but it adds complexity that as a fun player I don't want to worry about. I like that I can sit down, press one button to get my session going and ignore everything but the poker.

Spins are messed up for various reasons, but the vast majority of my work in spins is individual, and that doesn't harm me. When I used to play husngs a decent chunk of time had to be spent in interactions in order to maintain standing.

Nothing against ibavly, he is obviously well known name and this usually is for a good reason, but I really don't get how it's disrespectful to not know someone.

I don't know that I should be so well known, but just to clarify, he clearly recognized me which is why he didn't give action, his question was to try to figure out whether he was required to give me action according to his cartel rules.

Got my first work out of the week in last night, really enjoying the motivation hopefully I can keep it up. It's usually around week 3 when I start getting lazy.

Haven't played that much the past week, had a bunch going on this week. It's the first nice weekend of the year, went rock climbing (workout #2), finally tried an escape room with some friends, got into a slight physical altercation with the premier.

My gf is recovering from an injury + 6 inches shorter than me, so it's pretty depressing that she's still able to complete tougher climbs that me. Feeling great though about my activity level over the past couple week. Starting to feel some benefits now.

Really though most of the reason I haven't played much this week is:

Game is still going and if all goes well I won't get much done next week either
