couple short sessions & I have to move down again.. lol. truepoker 50nl is the worst I've run at anything. still been watching DC videos & think I've been playing well. maybe I'll build a bigger roll for next time, but at least I don't have problems with moving down

1.) probiotics

2.) yogurt smoothies... organic yogurt/bananas/organic blueberries/raw unfiltered honey/flaxseed

3.) unsprouted sourdough bread

4.) stay away from crappy food that you know is bad for you... or causes symptoms to increase. like fast food burgers and excessive alcohol.

All these things have helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I have not taken ANY MEDICATION IN 5 YEARS. I even occasionally 2 or 3 times a month, eat fast food or pizza. I love french fries.

You must do 1-3 habitually, every day.

thanks for the tips

Luckily I only have a mild case and have been symptom-free for a while, so I don't have to restrict my diet too much. I tend to eat pretty healthy in general anyway. I used to take probiotics & have smoothies/shakes often. I should definitely start again, cuz I know how helpful they are. I'm still on some meds, but I'm working to get off them. Hopefully things continue to go well for you.

bankroll/soul crushing downswing continues

back to 10nl now, bankroll: $270

some good news: talked with the potential backer recently and he'd be interested in working out a deal in a couple years when we get online poker in NJ

personal goals:
[ ] pass all my classes
[ ] swim or do some sort of exercise a couple times a week
[ ] gain weight (this is hard because of Crohn's disease)
its like i'm talking to myself 12 years ago minus the crohns disease bit. What type of engineering are you looking into? I passed my lifeguard test at 18 so i can tell you that swimming is not a great way to gain weight, eating big meals 6 times a day and join a gym, try to get a coach to show you how to deep squat correctly then dump him. Build your workouts around these 3 exercises: squat, deadlift and dip[weighted dip as you improve] forget the beach press as weighted dip is far more affective and less dangerous. Good luck, i have scoliosis in my back so i could never squat correctly

fish oils, body doesnt get enough these days because everything is processed, save yourself a lot of money on probiotics and eat some earth because that is just what they are selling your anyways: probiotics=expensive dirt

GL getting out of that downswing. Just finished up my aerospace degree, my advice would be to only do it if you are really interested in aerospace engineering otherwise a mechanical engineering degree would be less time consuming and give you a broader selection of jobs when you get out of school with essentially the same math background. I have a couple friends who did electrical though and they had no trouble getting jobs.

yeah, aerospace is pretty interesting to me so I think I could deal with the extra work if I go with it, but you have a good point about jobs
