That's like almost a phone each month.

When Brokenstars is trolling you about spending too much on food a day you know you got some budget issues. Only 6bet is capable of finding a thai girlfriend that can't even cook. That's like at least 50% of the reason you would get one in the first place.

I love how OP just throws some terms, that he has little to no understanding of, at everyone questioning his actions

"volume", "downswing" and "variance" stand out as some classics ITT

how many hands have you played lifetime, OP? let me guess: ~10k live, ~100k online? so what the **** are you even talking about?
when I see your HHs and the way you use the word "variance" it makes me think you could run someone over driving blackout drunk and still blame his death on variance. stuff happens, you know...certainly wasn't me!

I also still love OPs "freeroll-concept". It really is incredible how you come up with stuff like this (which is why your thread has 5 stars and gets so much traffic)
I remember - when planning your sidney-trip - you posted something like "maybe I can win 2 BIs at the casino there and FREEROLL THE WHOLE TRIP"

this is just hilarious.

keep up the good work!

Fwiw my girlfriend does cook for me on occasion. Today for example, she cooked me stir fry beef and rice with broccoli. A few days ago, she made me these spicy noodles. But she works a lot, so I don't blame her for not being able to cook for me all the time.

that's nice of you not to blame her. you could just cook some meals for yourself and maybe even for her since she's working a lot and you don't, but considering the overall security of your apartment, I think it's actually better if you don't.

I don't understand what you mean... the apartment is very secure. Unless you're talking about the annoying fire alarm that sometimes goes off? I figured out a trick to that: if I keep all the windows open before turning on the stove, then the fire alarm doesn't usually go off.

Although I still cbf'd using the stove myself. I just microwave stuff, the few times when I do make my own food.

Dude you are spending $25 a day on food and are staked for 1/3 games. Wtf has to happen for you to get it...you are all talk at this point. Go buy some rice/noodles/chicken and some veggies. Put that **** in a pan and cook yourself something. You talk about how you need to save money and then spend $25 a day on food. All talk that’s all you are until you make some actual physical changes in your life.

$25 a day is nothing. I used to spend $40 a day on food. I'm proud of myself for cutting down my expenses significantly.

Everytime I eat out, I pick the cheapest and best value places. And I bought a bunch of cheap, microwavable meals that I can eat at night when I return home from my poker sessions. That saves money too.

Today I was tempted to buy a vitamin water for $5 but chose to drink tap water instead. Things like that take discipline. But I do it to save money.

OP whilst everyone tends to be nice and well wishing I hope you fail. It'd be a shame to see someone so undeserving do well, not that you will.

LOL okay. It's pretty natural for humans to feel like they are more deserving of nice things than other people. And it's even more common to see this kind of bitter attitude in the poker room.

Do yourself a favour and don't let your happiness be dependent upon the success/failure of others.

Bottled water, seriously? That's the biggest waste of money imaginable when you can:

a) bring your own bottle filled with tap water, completely free
b) ask at the bar of any casino and they will give you a glass of tap water, also completely free

Tap water in itself is usually very clean and safe to drink.
It's what's in the pipes between the water source and your glass that's sometimes the problem.
Bombs away.

You’re proud of yourself for spending only $25 a day?! That’s at a minimum 2 hours of work live for you if you think that winrate is Sustainable for you. Probably 10 hours online if you are a winner...

Got to be careful drinking tap water, the stuff they government adds to it is turning all the fish gay.

The tap water where I live is just not good. I tried buying a filter for my sink but it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. I only drink bottled water, and it isn't very expensive. A 32 bottle flat of water with each water bottle being 16.9 Oz is like $4. I think I spend like 20 bucks a month on water. I really don't think bottled waters the problem here.

Buying a $5 bottle of Vitaminwater though? Yeah that is definitely a waste of money.

Microwavable meals are about the most expensive thing you can buy at the grocery store. You really need a life coach, or a mom or something. $25 should easily buy you enough groceries to cook for a week. ~$100/mo on food is where you should be if you want a shot at saving up a bankroll. You're at ~$750/month. Quite a gap to close.

Nobody is even addressing the biggest issue about this food stuff, microwaving all your meals/having takeout too often is poisoning your body. Microwaving food radiates it and makes it so you don't absorb the nutrients from your food/absorb radiation and will be extremely unhealthy. Stop killing yourself. Learn nutrition now, thank yourself later. No microwaved food. No packaged food. No fast food. No Sugar. No cereal. No flour/bread/pasta/bad carbs. Learn and schedule a cheap and healthy way of eating and you will feel infinitely better with an added bonus of not dying early. This is something that is a western epidemic that needs to be addressed. Learn or die.

Yeah, you'll only "absorb radiation" from microwaving food if your microwave oven is broken...

Buy 30 chicken wings, split them, oil, 40 mins 400 turn halfway add butter to favourite sauce e.g. buffalo into pan, heat to boil dip wings in sauce and place 10 in freezer friendly bags, eat with any carb and any veg, gto dinner for a week, change sauce/carb/veg every week and you could go do this for months
