This is probably just pitch on the flop tbh. Villain is a super nit so I would need a damn good read that he plays draws aggressively.

QQ hand I would fold on the flop because he has big made hand or big draw dont think this guy has alot off air in his c/r range! If he has big draw we have almost the same equity and I think if you call flop you have to call turn and river so its bluff catch!!gl bro

i actually had a note that said he played turn draw aggressively. He also had c/r of 1/5.. small sample though. Btw, his AGF was 6.. so even though his pre range is tight, it doesnt mean he isnt capable of bluffing or semi bluffing. A combo draw like 45d is possible there considering he called from BB.

The 45% bet on turn made it feel to me like alot like a semi bluff as opposed to value betting a big made hand. I was going to fold on flop but i looked at PT note and his aggression told me not give up just yet.

Of course his agression factor is high, because he's only coming into the pot with strong hands.

That's not necessarily true. He opens only 6.45% of hands which are his monster hands..assumeing he 3bets his AQs,AA,KK,QQ,JJ,AKs/o.. the remaining 13% of hands he calls with are not huge hands. 13% into pokerstove while removing the monsters gives us all Axs, 22+ and broadways. Putting that range vs QQ on that board gives us 70% equity over his range.. whereas on that board if it was an Ad instead of Kd, i would be more inclined to fold flop because that hits is range alot more than a Kx type hand

I get what you're trying to say, but I don't necessarily agree with it. Sure he has a wider calling range pre which includes all those hands that you mention, but plug in the hands that are in his preflop calling range that actually raise the flop and see how much equity you have.

According to my calculations, if he raises every nut flush draw, 66, 22 and KQo/KQs, you only have 26.8% equity.

Yip what Old Timer says is right you calculate his pre range on that board and not his c/r range big different!!Even if you put some bluff in his range you are still crushed against his range!!!Yeah this time you made the right play but longterm its EV-.GL bro crush those fishes

Yep, you guys are certainly correct.. long run this is definitely a loosing play. Thing is at 5nl i would fold this 100%.. but at 10nl i've been upagainst so much crazy unnecessary aggression that i'm calling down alot lighter! Thanks for the response btw

haven't played much today, been out all day. Dropped 3 buyins last night during a small session though.. 500 hands haha. had a bluff where vill called me down with 3rd pair in a 3bet pot lol , 3bet pot with AK v 22, and a couple of unlucky rivers for me.

I'll put in more volume tomorrow hopefully

Hey guys, have a few questions with some hands..

So this hand, i'm farily sure this dude has QQ,JJ when he checks turn and even so when he checks river.. but how often can i double barrel TT and not get called down? I'm most likely getting called if i bet river no? i feel i played this way to passive!

So here i have a note on villian that he 3bets very light IP with marginal hands. NO way i'm getting out of this hand no? Had a similiar hand like thsi before with QK on KQT board for stacks on flop as well.. am i stacking off to light on a board like this? It's fairly drawy too.. so i assume hes doing this with 9Qc, QJc, AK?

Here's 10NL graph so far.. not to happy with the results tbh. Way to swingy.. no consistency! Almost at the start of every session i lose a stack or half a stack too.. dunno if its variance or my mental game at start of a session haha
i think i stack of to light.. could that be a reason for these swings?? Might even be calling down to light against certain villians

Alright, so here was my horrid sesssion. The drop till $80 was 2 sessions.. But i made back half of it on the same day! Frustration at constantly running into top of villians range made me make loose calls and try some ****ty bluffs.. bad bad plays. Had a few set over set, straight over straight, river sets etc.. the usual. High dose of variance mixed with bad play is a bad recipe.. i have to work on mental game a little more!! if it wasnt for my bad play i think i could've at least saved 2 buyins
I was able to make half of it back playing like 5 hours later with a cool head.. thank you sweet baby jesus

And here was tonight session.. i played really well and had a alot of bad villians on my table calling me down super light and won an all in flip with AK v JJ! I was a little to passive in some spots though cause of the bad beat session before. Thats another thing i have to work on, not letting previous sessions affect my current play. Every session should be a clean slate

THis was a hand in 2nd graph which i feel i played horribly!! UTG tanked for ages before folding so he mustve made a big laydown, maybe JJ .. i 4bet WAY to big, basically turned my hand into a bluff. Only hand calling me there was KK and MAYBE QQ. Thoughts on flatting in that spot? I think i might have flatted if i was IP but being OOP i don't know... my thought process was utg had a pretty tight UTG range and MP had a fairly tight 3bet range so one of them might have had KK/QQ.. :/
