If the max winrate at 25nl is 4bb/100, poker is deader than we all thought.

There's a thread in the micro forum, guy is beating 25nl for 8bb over 400k+ hands
8bb/100 @ 1000 hands/hour = $20. Plus SN rakeback of $5.60/hour. That's $25.60/hour.

You would need to be beating the game at 14bb/100 long term to make $40/hour with SN rakeback. With SNE rakeback, maybe only 12bb/100.

Now who is capable of sustaining this winrate at 25nl? Bear in mind though, this is only if you're 'half decent'. If you're fully decent, you should have a winrate of at least 20bb/100.

if your fully decent? 20bb/100 at 25nl?
if I ever meet someone crushing 25nl over a large sample at 20bb/100 ill suck their dick, and ill also ask them why they aren't playing higher. I would also say they aren't fully decent, they r fully sick.

1 tabling over 5 years doesn't count.

In other news, OP can't seem to get out of this downswing he's been in for the past few weeks. Trying everything but it's just not going my way just now

care to elaborate.
rakeback makes up for roughly 2.2/100 based on supernova which means beating 25nl at 18bb/100. Does not seem possible to me, if so I would love to see a graph of 200-300k hands plus, if its bein done couldn't be by more than a couple of people.

Most people able to achieve the highest winrates being elite at 25nl have likely moved up before substantial volume has been reached.

edit- I just realised post may very well of been sarcastic. :-| *facepalm*

Hang in there mate. The true tests of poker. Sometimes can be a good idea to drop limits for a day or 2 just to rebuild confidence.

I tried that yesterday, and still ran bad. I'm even more pissed off now

I take it these winrates weren't at zoom? And they were extreme table selecting.

I get all philosophical and emo when I downswing lol, so I won't say too much, but this is not fun. 2 weeks til I get RB, just gotta focus on getting to that point (somehow!). Here are some hands. They're not necessarily mega coolers, just every goddamn time!

What did you expect when you tried to play 50NL with a 1000$ bankroll and after a downswing of 600 buckaroos you're still stubborn as **** because you do not have the discipline to play on lower stakes.

If you are trying to do this for a living, please tell me it's a joke.

That KK hand reminded me of the other day when I got in KK vs KK preflop near the bubble of an MTT I played. Also lost to a guy who hit his flush. Sad times. Gotta laugh at those bad beats - 1 in 50 times it will happen.

br management is for people without balls
nothing better than running a 250bb bluff with only having like 5stacks of br left

i honestly think if youre grinding zoom you need at least a 50 buyin roll especially if like most of us you struggle with the pyschological strain of a downswing

                    gl sir

ye comfortable roll coupled with very rarely checking results(once a month tops) is optimal

Haha yeah I remember about a month ago I got my AA in vs AA and won, so I can't really complain. Just sucks balls when on the receiving end!

I think you're right. I normally use 30 but sometimes if I want to do something stupid like go to Magaluf with my pals for a week I'll drop to 15/20 and I've been fortunate not to encounter any d/s's in that time. In a couple of weeks when I'm able to I'm going to have a 40bi roll and aim to never stray away from that. Will also build a backup roll between now and the end of the year. Think it's time to be a bit more sturdy!

Yup, agree, although your 250bb bluffs does sound much better tbh

Ty for raising a smile troops. I'll come back stronger! Not a fan of Van Morrison but I could listen to this non stop for days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BteIwbKU_iQ
