Wish I could say I was surprised at these table interactions. The things I've seen and reacted to in recent memories...

For example, I was at the casino and had an overpair and went bet bet, bet on something like 963h4hQx vs a rec and got snapped off on river rec had Q9hh so I basically got rivered and stacked. I muck and as I go to pay the guy without complaining because it's a nice rec, another guy pipes up from across the table basically yelling at me/rec saying "make him show his cards!!!" and does not shut up for maybe 20 seconds before I just tell him to stfu he's not in the hand. He keeps going and rec who is middle aged man gets up tells him it's his money he can do whatever he wants. Some true scumbags in the live scene, that's a soft example lol

Very good to eat clean, keep track of portion size etc. They cost around $9 each but well worth the investment. The saving in time, dishes etc is huge.

I would also recommend joining a gym, like a casual pass or something. So many good things come out of lifting weights and exercise. Plus I could imagine the hotties that would hit the gym in LA.

PS that call is insane
you on light and easy max

I have seen that happen a few times here, it's incredibly tilting! Just no etiquette in live poker, ESPECIALLY in LA.

Not much to report, haven't played much poker over the past few days. Couple of days ago I lost 2x 3k pots OTR, so my EV line is certainly taking a beating. First hand nitreg opens mp, super tilted whale makes it 100 on btn, I look down at 99 and cold 4bet to 340, he calls. Flop is J46r. I decide betting doesn't accomplish much here vs him so I x. He piles in 925 into like 700, I snap call. He turns over 78s and gets up to leave. Brick turn, and he pings a 5 OTR. He starts going "YES! YES! YES! YES!" haha. I didn't complain, part of the game etc. Second one I got in the 2nd nut flush OTT in a 3bet pot and the guy rivered quads. Again what can ya do!?

Running is going great, and the weight is still going down despite not so great nutrition. Gotta keep at it! The other two bets super easy so far, although the other night was the first time since we made the pizza bet that I felt irked at not being allowed to eat any. 355 days til I can have a slice so gotta stay focused.

Other guy had a 9 high flush vs royal, no BBJ would qualify that anyways.

Lost 6k tonight. All I can think about is instead of going to the casino I could've ordered a D boy and violated masel and still have 2k to spare.

Full update coming soon, will likely just be me moaning about variance.

how deep are these 5/10 games playing? What is your BI?
$6k in 1 day (600bb) is pretty decent chunk in live pokerz imo...)

although you are the king of spew

Capped at $1500! 600bb is of course a lot but given the number of days played overall there's surely gonna be at least one big losing day. I've had 3 or 4 days where I've won like 6k+...

Haha no spew at all, I am super ABC these days. It's boring but it's the way to win all the money at live poker

I'm actually playing just now and making a list of all my VPIP hands. Buddy of mine is gonna review. Should be interesting!

I just asked Don Cheadle what he does for a living. Absolutely mortified when he quietly replied "I'm an actor."

Haha sooo the royal flush hand real quick, I open KQcc utg, get like 3 callers. Flop is AcTcwhatver. I cbet 100 into 140, and the dealer pings me the Jc OTT. I x, other guy bets like 350 with the same behind. I pile it in and he snaps me off with 89cc. Had the river been 7c we would've hit the super duper BBJ for either 100k or 150k. God I run so bad!

Don Cheadle story...

Sitting in seat 7, rofling around with this dude in seat 3 who I kinda think looks like someone but not sure who, he's not brilliant but not awful. I'm being my usual highly irritating self and chatting away, propositioning random people I barely know into "every time we catch each other ruffling chips we receive $1" etc etc. Seat 2 pipes up with "Hey man are you Irish?" I give it "nah I'm Scottish but I grew up in Ireland!" Seat 3 is like "whereabouts?" "Ballymena, ever heard of it?" "No never but I was over in a place called Countarmach working for a bit". I say "where?" and he goes "Countarmach". I'm like "you mean County Armagh?" He's like loooooool yea. He then asks me to say 'County Armagh' a few more times coz I said it all Irish-like. Few secs pass and I'm like "What do you do for a living that brought you over there?" Table kinda goes quiet coz literally everyone knows who he is. He looks at me sheepishly and says "I'm an actor." I slapped the table really hard and shouted "I ****in KNEW I recognised you!" He smiles all embarrassed and I start racking my brains to think what I recognised him from. Anyway he got up and left and whole table was like "nice bro". Mortified!

Other than that not much happening. Been pretty much b/e since I went to Vegas, but considering I lost 5k there over a few days, and lost 6k in a single session, it's not the worst. Ran super well yesterday and won about $3500 back from my 6k losing day, hopefully the start of some heat! Also made drastic changes to my game overnight, noticed a lot of spots where I'm basically just losing like $100 an hour calling too wide from BB etc. Defo adds up over time!

Quick pcture that basically sums the trip up...
