Thanks for the support. Yeah poker variance can be brutal and I know it. But when it happens to me I somehow get tilted by it. It's like the weather man says it will rain, and still get angry cause it's raining

Yeah I do stackoff light in some spots. However I have to say that I try to choose my spots and only post the hands where I deviate from my default strategy. So most of the hands I post are 'weird' hands.

Thanks for the support guys Currently still taking a break from poker. I have some thoughts about where my tilt is coming from and I think it is a combination of an unhealthy lifestyle, hating my job and buildup frustration.

The last couple of months I've not been playing much football (had injury) and have been eating unhealthy junk. Been gaining weight and getting fat which I've never been before. So I am getting a gym membership and will start to eat healthier. Not doing this for poker but just for myself and my life in general.

Also I've been too focused on poker lately, hoping to (someday) get good enough so I can eventually quit my job, that I don't enjoy. Obviously this goal is unrealistic when playing microstakes. But I guess that's on the back of my mind when playing which adds pressure. For now I have to let go of that dream and try to make my normal job more enjoyable, and poker just a fun hobby. Nothing else, no pressure.

But I guess its not all 'outside-poker' things that make me tilt. I am too results-orientated when playing. I keep checking my results for the session, my bankroll etc which isn't important at all. And I wrote this on my phone yesterday: "I get frustrated when I make mistakes and I make mistakes when I'm frustrated"
Kinda like a vicious circle. I find it hard to 'snap' out of that frustration when I'm in a session. Thinking about it, it's easy to notice when I'm frustrated because I say a lot of "goddamnits" when I am. The mix of unhealthy life, pressuring myself, not allowing myself to make mistakes and getting tilted because of these mistakes might be the problem. Or where my tilt is coming from, I guess. Hope you guys understand what I am mean, I am rambling a bit.

Went to the gym yesterday, felt good. Although I have no idea how most of the machines work, I had a good workout. Also did some meditation, using the app Headspace. Right now working on my mental game plan. Will include a schedule for exercising, meditation, injecting logic and keeping a mental game diary for myself. Will add some things later on but don't want to overload the first week. Doing some reading too.



Poker-wise not much happened. Did some very short sessions but seems like every decent regular is playing reg tables now. Everyone is fighting for seats and tables with 2 fish are rare. Zoom pools looks a lot better with mostly weak regs and recreationals. So I might have to adjust my plan of only reg-tables but we'll see.

February update

Happy this month is over it was a mediocre month for me. Haven't played my best, especially in the first 2 weeks of the month. Decent amount of spew/tilt at the beginning of the month. The last 2 weeks were fine I guess. Have been mixing some more zoom because I didn't have much time (busy with work and partying). And zoom pools sometimes look softer then fighting for seats at regular tables.

Continue to play 25NL the upcoming month. My bankroll is pretty close to a shot at 50nl but feel like I need to plug some leaks and get a stronger mental game before moving up. Won't have a volume goal for March but have some personal goals I wanna work on (no alcohol, more exercising and living more healthy in general etc)

100k hands milestone

Reached 100k hands today (actually 99,999 but played one more hand to make it official). Took me exactly 3 months to complete. Happy with how I improved, although still some mental game troubles (sometimes). First 2 weeks of the month were rough, lost $400 at 25NLz but managed to grind myself back in profits at 25nl. Took a shot yesterday at 50NL and managed to win 13 buyins in 1200 hands With how juicy the tables are right now I will continue to play 50NL with some stoploss restrictions. Volume on stars was low this month because I played some on apps too (without hud). But in the foreseeable future I'll be playing Stars only.

Nice,how are the games on stars right now ? especially NL25z,can't decide if i deposit on Runitonce or stars.

Games are good on Stars but on RIO you can get juicy rakeback, tough choice

March: Not a great month, but at least we ran good at 50
