Stopped playing poker in 2013 due to personal issues that I won't discuss on here. Before though, I played zoom on pokerstars (I think it had just came out when I started in 2012 I think?) Managed to win at 5nl for roughly 10bb/100 and 10nl for roughly 6-7bb/100 over a million hands or so. Rough estimates since it was years ago and I've lost all my stats since then. But I worked up a bankroll for 120BIs at 25nl, played 100k hands or so breaking even I think before the personal issues started.

Anyway, i'm back! Started playing again last week, I do have a bankroll for 25nl but decided to start at the very beginning and work my way up again, mainly just to prove to myself i'm still a decent player I guess lol. It's been ages so obviously i'm a little rusty and I haven't played as many hands per day as I used to, will take me a while to get back into it. Sticking to the same strategy as before, play for an hour (500 hands on 2 tables) then take a 30-60 min break depending on how I feel before repeating.

I've only played 7.5k hands at 5nl in the past week, couple hours a day. Been taking prolonged breaks just until I get into it again, I will eventually but there's no rush lol. My stats so far are: 23VPIP/16PFR/5.5%3bet and currently winning 12bb/100. But 7.5k hands is next to nothing I know lol. Would like to get my VPIP and PFR closer to each other but I tend to call certain hands IP and also I defend my BB light as i'm pretty confident playing post-flop especially at these stakes.

I'll be updating this every now and then with my progress, hopefully I can get back to 25nl and maybe even go further this time

Not much of a forum poster, as i'm terrible with technological things. And I struggle with words/grammar etc but I will update as much as I can, post hands etc.

It will probably take me a while to get back to the normal schedule I had 4 years ago due to rustiness and the fact there isn't any rush. At the minute i'm perfectly fine with a couple hours play per day, little half hour sessions.

Wish me luck! If you have any questions or whatever, feel free to ask, I've probably missed out some information, like I said i'm terrible with using forums, this is my first time posting in one lol.

Spent the entire weekend binge watching the new episodes of PAD, was brilliant lol. I have a lot more stuff to watch to catch up on in the past 4 years, WSOP and EPT mainly. So will be watching those in the next few weeks while also playing 5nl for maybe an hour a day until I've watched everything

Only played 1k hands over the weekend (2 hours) - half of which were drunk poker lol. Lost a couple BIs, mainly due to Tom Dwan bluffing with 93o in PAD, made my drunken self do the same thing lol :P

Will take me maybe a month or so until i'm fully back into the swing of things, but i'm definitely starting to get my love for the game back

Is there any easier way to search for particular hands? Rather than making a note on the time and hole cards then manually searching, takes me ages lol.

Wanted to post a graph, I saved it and copied it but it won't paste on here , once I figure out how to do it i'll post it .

Finally figured out how to post graphs on here, took me ages searching the internet lol. I really am terrible with technology, honestly my dear old gran knows more than me

First 10k hands at 5nl:

I will post more graphs and hands every now and then

I keep fluctuating between £20-30 profit, been up and down a lot, that's variance for you lol. Not running very well right now but i'm happy with the way i'm playing that's all that matters. Being emotionless is great, means I never go on tilt lol

Nice £18 profit over the weekend over 1.5k hands

Plus my footy accumulator came up for an extra £90 so that's a bonus

Going to take advice from someone on a different topic - play 25k hands at 5nl and if i'm still above 5bb/100 then i'll move up to 10nl. Currently at 7.25bb/100 in 12.8k hands.

Haven't played too much in the past few days - just 1k hands. Been busy with other things and i'm in no rush whatsoever

Total loss of £2 over those 1k hands, was up a few BIs but played pretty terrible last night.

Not sure if anyone is actually reading this? I'll continue to update, but less frequently - maybe once a week or so.

Next update will be once I reach 25k hands, might take a while but like I said no rush
