This has been the first 60k of the hands on this stake and it has been BRUTAL. I feel like I have never ever run this bad, and its not nearly represented in the EV. I feel like I have been raped in every way possible with board run outs, people mashing gin turns when drawing slim, calling off 85BB w/ 5 behind, hitting and then shoving into me, flopping GIN EVERY GOD DAMN TIME in 4bet pots, everything. Brutal brutal brutal ****.

I am moving tomorrow to Budapest to live with one of my staking partners and another poker player I dont know. I will be viewing this as a grind house and I plan to grind there.

This thread will be about me getting out of the hole that I am in and represents a beginning of a new period rather than a continuation of the horrendous one I am currently in.

Ill post one hand per day, a daily graph, and a total graph until I have recovered the 4.4k in winnings (RB/Bonus etc do not count) and then will let this thread die and resume posting in my old one.

Just keep playing solid and things will turn around. We have all had those streaks when we lose every showdown in every way possible. Just battle through it and come out on top. Gl my friend.

There has been a decent amount of bad play as well, and though its to be expected when you are running really bad, its still unfortunate and I hope being here with other poker players will serve to refocus me and think EV instead of FML.

Thanks man, I have arrived safely. Took a day for us to get internet, but I will be getting onto the grind in the morning.

Nowhere wants foreigners to stay long :P Ill try not to be too hermitish here. It would be hard to do having 2 roommates especially since one is having couch surfers come around all the time lol.

I hope it will be, and if things go well here I would hope to do it again somewhere else with either some of the same or different players.

My place in Canada was a short term rental from the owner who was at home over summer break but coming back for school, so I had to be out yesterday anyway.

Its surely the best way, if your expected to win you can only lose for so long so we gotta get after it.

I didnt really choose the city, one of my staking partners was moving here and asked me and a few other people to come, and since I had to move out of my apt at the end of aug and leave canada at the end of sept, it seemed like a logical choice to accepted, especially since my partner is a much better PLO player and I should be able to glean some things from him and get some help with my game. Plus being around people will probably be good for me as well.

We are downtown a few blocks from the Opera house. It seems to be one of the more affluent parts of this part of the city. The other side of the river is supposed to be more wealthy/nice

I will be on the grind tomorrow, I expect to put in 3-4k hands every day this month. I should get my PS account opened relatively soon as well so I can leave Party.

We hired a cool/fairly cute chick to be an assistant for us for $11/hr split 3 ways to do our shopping/cooking/cleaning etc and introduce us to her friends and show us some cool stuff around the city.

should work out well, she cooked us our first meal today, some pasta with zucchini/ham/onions that was delicious. My roommate is also having a ton of couch surfers come over here as well lol. A little concerned about having my camera/laptop/money stolen, but should lead to some interesting situations as well.




Things still arent quite set up, but I decided to put in 90 minutes or so anyway, and im very pleased to report good things Think I played pretty well, but I also ran very very well hitting draws and flopping very well.

Obviously could be better, it was very ahrd to get in volume today, I played quite a few hours but it was frequently 4-5 tabling cuz thats all that were running and getting **** for hands/hr.

Very thankful for the semi-comeback at the end. Wanted to continue but the software was buggin out for the last 15 mins w/ disconnects/lag/sitting me out for no reason (no lag when it did this).

^^ ended up losing 8xx on the 5th, another 8 on the 6th and havent played since. I dont know what the **** im doing right now. So much mental and emotional **** I need to deal with, and being so nervous living with other people and having couch surfers over and **** is making me isolate myself in the house. Its making for a very strange and uncomfortable situation for all of us I think. I dunno.

I will be out of this soon. Since this thread ive just either played terrible or extremely well, and if I play well I will be out of this so soon its unreal, but its never gonna happen if I continue to play terrible 2/3 days.

Had to quit just now cuz I was getting brutalized w/ bad flops/bluffs failing etc and didnt wanna have have the day end massacred.

What site you playing on? Also, if you haven't been already go to a bar called Szimpla. It's on the Pest side not far from the Astoria metro station. It's not your average bar and you might hate it but it might be good to take your mind of the grind.
