A soso day overall. Woke up tired from the long sess and Matt encourage me to hit the gym. I am really felling improvements and big tX to Matt making me go . I'm swore as he'll as I type this though.
We arrive at live to see not that good of a must move but very great main. Horseshoe just started a short handed 5/10 and off we went. The game look rather special when we got there and played 8 handed . I end up staking off super light in a spot I am really unsure about .

Dynamic - I seen this super special player open ship 700 a few orbits early on a 872r flop with a 200 dollar pot with j10o. My read was villain was fed up with Matt and I aggression and wanted to make a stand . When he bets that sizing on flop I felt his range who be something like 22+ except kk and jj of course . Also he has all 16 combos of aq 4-16 combos of a10 . I hardly believe his value is ever like ak here or kq . I wouldn't been surprise to see QQ or AA but with the runout I table my hand happily . Unfortunately this guy hits and runs and then the table insta sits out with my ass wanting to play the world.
We head back to live and find a nice 5/10 but we have to wait for some seats . I sit at a 2/2 PLO and dump off around 700 waiting for my seat to open. I got in j1098 on a 1083 flop vs 88xx where I repotted pre on button and then got in top set vs wrap vs small wrap and nfd for 1700 to lose on turn and river . I finally get a seat and run my stack up to almost breakeven for the day. I won a nice 4kish pot where I go runner runner nfd and get ship on . Heading to bed as I might play mtt tom or cash we will see.

Bluff of 2k last night in a spot where I bet 2x pot on river. I actually like my line a lot but was unfortunate to be range wrong vs exact oop. Lost around 5k last night do last few days been having fun 5k swings ... Let it continue and swing upward today

Playing mad hours trying to get in the green for the month . Everyday been swingy ... But learning more and more each day .

Still battling April , over 120 hrs log and hopefully 40+ more to go. I have been actively going to the gym with Matt ,( though I have bitch out on a few ) . I haven't really seen much results as of yet but I'm sure they are there . Apartment hunting has been dreadful as ever. We have so many hours into search and calling and still haven't found a place. Hotels are going to be the death of us!!!!
I played 3 different sessions 2day. 1st was at md live 5/10. Wasn't that great of game except for two spots. I manage to squeak a little win and we headed off to the shoe to see how there game was . Played 2/5 the biggest game they had and ran up a nice stack in a few hours.
Made close to 3k, hero a few sicks spots for 100bb+ . Also was straddling every button to 15 so made the game a little bigger . We then headed back to live and played a bad 5/10 and squeak out an ever so little profit. Still down a few buying for the month but today def helped.

Gonna try to put in a nice log solid session. Going to focus a lot of discipline and playerS. Up in the air still if this is going to be my home for the next few months but we will see . I c , I really don't have any intention to grind online mtts atm. My cash game is coming along and more I keep transitioning back and forth the harder it is to get ahead of the competition . Also I don't really have the roll to jump in high varience high stakes mtts atm . I missed up on a good opportunity in Maryland and didn't play there main .

So we might have a place only bad thing is there rioting next to it......

Smoking a morning j before departing back to Maryland. April was my first losing month of the year!!! I am down around 7-9k for the month with about 130 hrs of 5/10 played. A much needed week off , ready to go hard for May. Since I have not wrote many goals this year I start this month off right.

Goals-
Play 200 hrs
Work out atleast 15x this month
Do some kind of studying at least 1x a week for 1hr

Going to try to cutdown on leaving the table so often . Live is just so god damn boring some times . Need to remember to always grab my headphones and in some games just make my mind occupied to keep playing.

I post pictures of new pad when I arrive. I have the place for 3 months so hopefully it's a great experience .

Glad I found your new thread donkey! Followed yours last year diligently. Was great and I almost did my own TR when I hit Vegas for the series. Whatever happened to your buddy, Cowboy was it? You had a nickname for him (he was your horse).

Anyway-- I just left DC not long ago. Wish I started reading 2p2 again. We could have linked up at LIVE.

Do you plan to go out to the WSOP this year at any point? I already booked my flight/dates.

So far not a great start for the month. I won my first session of around 700 dollars. I misplayed AA on the turn which prob cost me 800ish. Saturday the games were pretty good but I manage to raise fold off my 1400 profit to the same villain twice. . Played prob my b game in a 7/10 game. Left to go watch the boring fight. Today was a disaster . Played short handed against 3 spots and drop 4k Within 3 dealers . I called it a day and went food shopping at Walmart . Lost two combo draws and then 10s vs ak two board got scooped. Going to shake it off and hopefully recover again from the 13k downswing.

I'll be in DC the last week of JUN! Flying directly from Vegas to DC. Will be in your area a week or so for a work seminar. Let's grind it up then for sure. Glad you were able to find an APT. Weird, the whole Northern VA/MD area is supposed to be a renter's market. I guess short term leases are just hard to come by up there right now.

Vegas was good to me last year. I busted my first event (Monster Stack) but some how binked/chopped my second event (Wynn $600, $150k guarantee) w/ over a 1000 entries. That was a nice $69k take down. Unfortunately, the rest of the series sucked w me busting 1ks, Main Event qualys, Little Drop, etc. I bubbled the Wynn $1600 ME also. Lost AQ to fn A8o aipf, SB v my BB. sighs. Main Event, I managed to make it to Day 2, but couldn't get anything going. I ended up calling a dude's 20bb shove w/ AK and him 1010. I only had 21bb, so I needed a double. All in all, it was a great summer and I couldn't ask for better. I'll be headed there the day before the Monster again, and depart on the 21st. I'll fly into DC on the 21st. LIVE the same day? haha.
