A little over 24k. Was looking forward to playing the Shooting star this week, but with Covid stuff going on I'm just gonna stay home and play a bunch of SFV.

Inca are probably my favorite civ they are pretty OP. Don't really have any tips, I'm not that good myself.

edit: My biggest tip I guess is just manage your happiness. Don't fall into unhappiness it quarters your growth which is a real problem. Steal a worker from a city state early on by declaring war with them and then making peace the same turn (just one city state or you will risk being seen as a war monger in their eyes). Also try to explore the territory around you for a natural wonder or other good resources and expand right away to it if you find one before someone else does.

Been awhile.

I've been playing a lot of SFV and watching videos of the top players. I really enjoy watching them now that I understand the mechanics of the game.

After all the talk about Poker Bros I started playing on it this week. Started at the bottom at 20nl and now at 40nl.

Games are good to say the least. Reminds me of live poker.

Been running like absolute death but up $1200
so far. Started off the day in a 3bet pot with AcQc on an all club 8 high flop. Fish 3 bets flop all in and wins with J8. Been about how the week has been.

I'm being backed so I have to play the stakes he tells me. I can play 100NL or below right now. I bounce around a lot just bum hunting.


25k hands now and BR just hit $2100. I'll probably start playing more 100NL now. If I double the roll he'll probably open up 200NL.

This hand was fun.

You should be playing on your own dime, you're too good to be getting backed to play low stakes. Build up a comfortable bankroll and end the stake asap. Your backer is a nit only backing you to play low stakes at first. Low risk high reward for him and high opportunity cost for you equals not a good deal for you. Just my dumb opinion.

Well here's the thing. I had no interest in playing at all. But people in the chat thread kept talking about it and it seemed fun. Someone threw something out saying they knew someone that was backing players so I tossed my name in the hat.

I wasn't interested in putting my own money up on the app cause who knows about this thing. Also I don't need the money so don't mind helping someone else out while it gives me some distraction during the day.

Yeah I'm up 2k on the stake already just after 3wks playing micros and could cut loose and play on my own. But I would feel kind of like a douche to do that tbh.

This guy took some risk on his end as he doesn't know me at all. I didn't risk anything. I gotta respect that and give the guy his due. Just my thing. Yeah of course I can instantly make double playing on my own sure. But I don't want to do that when I don't need the money.

Anyways he just opened up 200nl now so yay.

In other news I finally cashed out my BTC from my last Ignition deposit. Glad I waited, instead of losing 50% I ended up making an additional 1k.

Good start to 200nl. Literally first hand I'm dealt.

Really is unreal how many times I play the board after flopping a set.
