I've lost specifically this pairing so often it makes me want to consider doing the cash out option every time. What is it about Queens?

I think I'm mostly out of the mental funk I've been in.

Likely a combination of talks w/ several people, running a bit better and evaluating my hands during the down turn and seeing how I could've easily cut it at least in half if I just would've played better.

It's definitely been an experience of growth. Didn't really take a formal break, just played a little bit less on certain days, but it feels good to have learned some things.

I'm sure I will encounter the same or worse at any time, but hopefully I'll be better equipped to handle it in each iteration.

I've turned up the time I spend studying considerably and starting next month it will go into hyper drive.

Not sure where it will take me, but excited to see what happens.

Saw this posted up. Haven't played live in a bit, might check it out.

I think that is a mistake. You can have blocks and overbets here on the turn vs. a missed c-bet, and 22 fits squarely into a large bet strategy. If you sim this, then vs the block Ip is supposed to raise quite a lot and defend close to MDF vs either sizing... this a node people are probably more inelastic in than others and will raise nowhere near an equilibrium amount vs. a block so you lose quite a bit of EV compared to whatever a sim says when you go with the smaller sizing.

Also not sure I agree with a fold.... that is quite an extreme fold, but maybe its ok

Hey appreciate the feedback. Without laying everything I'm doing out in the open, on flop check back nodes vs regs I only have one value size on Q high and below boards for turn probes.

Perhaps this specific hand doesn't like it and maybe it is a small mistake, but in general I only split sizes vs fish.

This is one of the best regs in the pool and at least at my current level I don't think I can get away w/ something more complicated that I can execute accurately and consistently without giving up elsewhere.

Regarding the fold I'm pretty confident here. I've kind of employed a Doug Polk type strategy of stationing hard in many spots so a lot of the regs are kind of deterred from trying to bluff me too often.

Go ahead and take a look at how often this "best reg" is folding to turn probes as a function of sizing and how often he raises in this node... then take a look at a solve for this spot.

Completely understand your position of trying to simplify and what not. You mentioned you were looking at doing extra studying etc. I'd recommend you look at this spot in more detail as it is one you can exploit a lot of "good regs" in. (PFR vs BB, pfr x flop, look at turn freqs)
