Hey.
The idea of the thread came from reading a lot of those in the past months. Generally i do not lack motivation to grind and put in volume, or tu study.
Tho i want to track my progress and have a place to rant sometimes, or share my thoughts.

A little bit about me (really, little):
Started playing a few years back mostly fooling around in all formats.
About 1,5y ago i started playing HU sngs, went ok for a bit but i didint stick to brm so i busted what i grinded - that was like a year ago. Since then i got a stake and played hu hypers on it, wasnt great but i wasnt down on it so at least thats a plus. Stake ended like 6 months ago due to my staker taking a break, recently he came back and staked me again. First two weeks of HU didnt really work out and he decided it might be better for me to play 9/6mans.
I fooled around on 1,5s to learn ranges playing both 6 and 9 mans but atm im sticking strictly to 9mans and play @ 3,5s.

Dont be too harsh on me when i paste a ****ty hand in here ;p its not even a month since i play those - obv still learning.

wasnt the best idea to play those while learning mostly for 9max, sticking to 9 tho so to hell with it ;]

Lost some past 2 days due to variance, got back a bit yesterday and hoping to grind back a little today as well, will see how it goes later.
Funny that when i lose i lose more than i win when im winning ;] tho im sticking to some stoplosses like 30bi first day, 20 second and then 10-15 for next days - gotta take it eaz now as im learning!


Goals for the rest of the month are :
1. Get an 100 avg. # of games - so that i can achieve gold star and get some more rakeback
(missing 1856vpps - should have been around 1600 atm but when i run ****ty i do not force games in so some days stays @ 40-50 ;( )
2. Study like i usually do everyday - ~1h or something just going through hands and spots checking ranges so i will learn them faster.
3. Shoot 7s and stay there ;p - one time pokerstars please dont smack me down like a lil bitch when i move up.
4. 9table all sessions when there is traffic - tho i have to take breaks, my resolution on this 21'' crap is 1680x1050 and i would like it a bit bigger for 9 tables, perfect for 6 but hell what can i do when i want to push in with volume :/
5. Should be #1 i think - Study some so i can have a chill time during exams in january - may not happen tho, im slacking a ton with uni stuff.


Btw. no TS as im too lazy to search through those pron sites with zillions of popups ;] but somedays maybe i will do it though, when results are not interesting to keep some interest ;] heh

Well im happy anyway (not about runbad) :
-managed to get 86vpps.
-when i started running like crap i started mixing in 1,5s so i could manage losses better.
-finished above my stoploss i set myself for the day after first ~30 games - thats nice, always 20$ more in da bank ;]
-studied before first game of the day, but i was like ~30 so now as i will have some time to kill i will chill, eat, watch some **** and then study some more.

Unhappy about :
-like 11 or so games finished as 4th @ 3,5s makes me mad as i was a favourite in more spots than not but oh well variance so cant bitch about it that much.
Still pisses me of as at least 2-3 3rd would make a big diff.

More or less not a great day but in some points a good one (stoploss,mixing lover bi and so on).

Today was a good day

-got a star on sharkscope ;p wonder for how long it will last? :P Hopefully i will finish 2012 with it so it will show in 2013 when somebody scope me
-managed to get 135 vpps
-mixed in lower bi at the start of the session to save up on the run bad. Funny thing is with my last batch of games (if i would lose em all i would stop for the day as i would hit 20bi) i decided to play just 3,5 and i all turned aournd. Pretty damn happy about it as it let me play more games and make some vpps also profit a bit a make up for yesterday`s loses.
I never really had a turn-around like that in 9max, usually i would hit my stoploss and just stop or be breakeven or be winning for the day so today was fun and a great experience
-Started studying 4handed - when im done with 4handed (will have to go through at least 100 more spots i think) i will do 5 and 6 handed. Just felt like i have to organise my studying process a bit so i will be more efficient.
-made enough fpps this week so that i can play 4 235fpps satties tomorrow - some rungood the would be nice as getting the rake back is always a nice feeling - even a small bit like i can now as im only silverstar :/ (lets hope not for long )

-tried out tableninja but hell... i will do manual...

1495vpps needed to clear 50$ stellar - 100 day...

Oh well last day of uni will be 20.12.2012 so i think i will make in 100% as i will be able tu put some more volume.
Won only 1/4 of 235 satties >< some bad luck there but made up for it on the tables ;]

Not really happy with today. Not like it was only beats or someting, sure there were some, but i also wasnt playing my best probably especially in the last 10-20 games as i started to feel tired after most of the day at uni...
Decided to stop after some bad plays in last 3 games - 2 of which was HU - one was a legitimate loss with a PP (if i remember right JJ) and the second one was just a ton of jamming as the dude was really tight and im sure it was profitable to shove ATC tho i mr and folded a few too ;p just ended up shoving when he had better.

Made 83vpps - unhappy about it but hell tomorrow maybe i will make up for it if not tomorrow then later in the week, not gonna play when i feel not good about doing so and tired.

Had a sweat today and some interesting stuff came up so always something new to learn and also to reassure myself in a few spots... and also to correct my bad plays in some

And finally right before posting i did a fast HH review with my coach/backer - i picked some hands in the last ~50 games when i wasnt sure, or i was but wanted to know if some plays are better and so on and so on.
Will go over some of the hands tomorrow again to check all the ranges, stove some and simply just to remember some spots better if anything similar ever comes up.

Hoping that playing/studying/coaching will pay off big time and i will do as good at the 7s as im doing at the 3,5s. Probably will start playing them later this week, some more coaching needs to be done before - dont want to start before im sure its a good idea to do so, and when i start i want to go strong on them - hopefully strong with volume but also profits ;]



Kind of interested about my ev/red/blue lines but PT4 is ****ed up so i will devote some time this week to fix it, import all HHs on my crappy fuc***g setup which will take liek 5h and maybe i will be able to see the graph finally :P

Yesterday i was told that is still good when i run like **** and still are breakeven or lose 3-4-5bi. I suppose there is something to it and i wish i will be losing like that when i do, not 20-30bi. Kind of funny anyway, lots of people at the 7s with impressive stats, and some of those impressive stats holders does such stupid things that i cant believe it... maybe im a fish but what does a guy who is up 20k thinks when he calls with T9s when two people previous to him jammed? Of course i hold KK and i lose with T9s

Anyway, according to SS my losing days are mon/tus/wed so tomorrow is what? Thursday. And SS thats when my winning days starts and they go all the wey to sunday. Will see how it will be this week, i really would like to spike some nice win after 2 b/e days and also as im at 7s now so that win would be that much nicer and that much appreciated.

Honestly, cant wait to grind tomorrow! Gonna review some spots and if i see something stupid in those reviews mark the people, always better to have more peeps marked than not so... worth extra effort.

good day, was up like 130 but then came some runs with totally like no cards and a few times when i had some i got luckboxed mostly in BB when BTN or SB jammed their 100% ><
A few turiens hold including one fun one when i had to allin like 4 times 4handed to stay alive and made it to 3rd with 73chips oh well +87 is much better than -15 so cant complain and crossing fingers for a good, hard grind tomorrow. Would like 300vpps so i will have only 600 left to goldstar then but will see how i run and if i have to stop early - hope not!

Had some nice heater @ 3,5s and had 770 points after 37 games Of course next 40 went so sadly bad that i bombed it hard and now have like 1100 :/ So many beats, so much losing with good holdings on the bubble and so much jams into better PPs >< pisses me off a bit.
But cant complain for sure :



Played one more batch after i upped this chart and dropped like 10$ so total for today is 231 games and 170+.

like -55 in like 100games or so, 140vpps made, actually for once from -60 i ran it to +10 but fun started to happen again, pretty damn hard to win it HU when K7<K4 from a big chip lead and later on KT<K7 its just written in stars that i cannot win atm, ****ing mayans or what?

Standard variance hit hard and waiting for it to be over and to get back what i lost past 3 day, maybe tomorrow? I hope.

Also i suppose there is a course going on on me. There is one polish bloke that is a good reg, he is tight but very very lose on BTN and on SB jamming like 85%. Doesnt matter what i have if its a PP, Ax/Kx or ****ing Aces his 56o will hit a str8, his J2 will hit a J or a 2... wonder when his luck will run out on me and variance will pull it the other way

Made 123vpps today. Im <200 to reach gold, and it seem next year requirements for platinum will be smaller so january i would like to reach that.

Was bumpy, when i ran it up i checked my roi for 7s and for 3,5s, 7s was much better so i played 10 of em, obv run like super **** ;p. Took a small break and grinded it back up mixing 3,5s and 7s.
Couldnt play as much as i wanted today due to some christmass stuff and a friend coming over but hell, tomorrow im mostly free so i will try to grind much much harder and get goldstar if i wont reach my stoploss.
