Wasn't even tilted anymore, but played another session of 50NL this morning since I liked the game flows up there. Played 2 tables for about 1 hr, got some nice spots and was up almost 2 BI's.

Took a break did a sweat session with someone else, then went back grinding. Only 1 table of 10NL at the time, so I also sat in one 20NL table. Played for about 3 hrs and got into some good spots.

Graph of this month so far with my degening. Around 6100 hands is where I moved to 50NL, 6700ish hands is when I stopped and played the 10nl/20nl session.

Biggest pot of today's session. I don't normally feel comfortable playing a 3 gapped sc, but whole table was deep so decided to take a flop with this hand.


Villian is Tag reg, when he x/r's me here the only hand I put him on is 22 from the way he plays so I just shipped it as he is always calling here.


Pretty sure I'm never folding here, just kind of a gross hand given preflop action.


Another weird spot, no real reads on villians. I guess I could have cold 4b here but I was happy enough just to call with position, after action comes back to me again, I think I'm getting the right price as long as one of the villians don't show up with aces.

Played pretty bad yesterday, wasn't really tilted, but maybe just tired/ unfocused. Had like 4 spewy hands that I was calling villians too light, like bottom pair light, and eventually dropped about $100 20NL. The last half the the session I played better and got into some good spots, used my fishy table image to get paid and ended up only down $10. Last night and this morning played only a few hundred hands, felt I played well. Converted pps into $20 aswell.

Need more self disipline at the tables, and end the session if I'm not playing well.
Think part of the reason is I don't care enough atm, which isn't that good as right now I'm just viewing poker as a diversion which I guess is fine, but I do have a competitive side and doesn't like doing things half assed.

Played some 20NL, dropped 2 BI's today. Think I played ok, had 2 pots where I misread villians. I think one was a bot and I used a timing tell to help make my decisions postflop but that was incorrect, and then in another hand read one villian as spazzy aggrodonk.

Ok so first this hand, villian had some timing tells where I was pretty sure they had a hand, but not a strong hand, something like AJ or KsTx by the turn.


This villian seemed fishy and aggro, was running 42/12, and was the villian who shoved as short stack pre in above hand. the way the hand played out, seemed villian had something like 8x, some oesd's, some gutters, and maybe 66,77. I planned on giving up river but when I hit I went for a value bet in case they wanted to play sheriff, but then I get x/r'd. I should get more info on villians before making a loose read on them, and I thought villian could be turning their hand into a bluff otr since they spazzed on the previous hand. I tank for a bit, and can remove some back door flushes like A8ss, A3ss, etc. So I called and now it all makes sense :c


Had an aggrodonk at one of my tables, like 2 orbits in, gets folded to them on BTN, they raise, I 3b from BB, they 4b and I was thinking about 5b bluffing but opted to fold this time. 2 mins later I'm UTG and pick up KK, I open, villian 3bs from SB, I 4b, they 5b shove, I snap call and they flip over 44, board QJ8A2.

Flopped a set, bet flop, bet turn and got raised, I 3b shove and villian calls, rivers flush.
Got some similar spots where it just didn't work out.

Did get one read on villian right today at least.

Not many tables running this morning, hopped on a 20NL and 50NL table. Played pretty bad for an 1.5 hrs, so I'm using self disipline to stop my session even though I was up. I realize I'm not even close to be rolled enough for 50NL, but since there was only 1 table of 20NL and no lower tables, decided to play 1 of 50NL.

Only good spot of the session, not even sure if I played it well, my bet sizings felt weird.

Played some 10NL and 20NL yesterday and today. Got myself into some few marginal spots yesterday. This morning I only was able to play for 1 hr, but played pretty well even tho it was a losing session.

Need to keep my motivation up, right now I'm not too thrilled about playing. This month started off well, but atm I'm somewhat on a BE stretch in terms of bb/100. I've made around $250 this month so far, but alot of that had to do with me life tilting and playing at 50NL which is the majority of my winnings for this month.

Played a 2hr session this morning, ran good and got into some good spots. Did have 1 hand where I might have misplayed it.

Right near the start of the session I get this.


Biggest pot of the session, pfr is a whale, I flat here, but then there is a 3b behind. From prior table action and chat, thought it was likely villian was squeezing here.

Nothing really exciting about last night's session. Ran a little under EV, flopped the nut straight and gii otf vs 2 villians, one had a set and another one had the nfd which got there. Played a promo freeroll and won $5.

Played 1200 hands today. Got a few coolers today, I think I played well for the most part. It's kinda lame atm playing 20NL, villians are pretty horrendous, and it's like I'm playing 2NL at times with the game flow there.

Here I run a squeeze play and even to unsophisticated opponents this should go through I think. Bet sizing could have been better, need to still work on that.

Not on tilt but definately frustrated. Started yesterday playing my A-game for quite a long time, found alot of good spots to pick up small pots, then all of a sudden I went on a heater for a bit. Late into last night/early this morning got into good +EV spots, but didn't go my way, and ended my session with a cooler to boot. I was up almost 7 BI's, now I'm just about break even for the day :c

Hand where I got coolered, had a similar spot where villian called w/ AK and caught me bluffing, I used that image to try and get paid otr from AA, AK. KK is in villian's range but so many more combos of the hands I beat.

Went busto playing 50NL. Got some coolers but was playing bad overall. Ended up playing 1 table of 200NL later and dropped the remainder of the BR. Overall I was happy with my gameplay. Didn't stick to BRM this time around which resulted in me going busto, I didn't really take this shot as serious as I should and didn't have the mindset as I did last year.

Gonna take a break for a little bit, see if I can refocus myself. If I do try to grind up another roll I should set some rules for myself so I don't play outside my br. I won't be going back to 888 for poker, I like their software but the population is the lowest I think for NJ. There were never any 2NL, 4NL tables and during the week only a few 10NL and barely any 20NL tables were running. While talking to some players on the site, I did hear good things about other NJ sites, so I might look into them.

For the 200NL, was sitting at 1 table with the remainder of my roll, villian here was super aggressive and just from the way the preflop played out, betsize and timing, it didn't seem like he had a big pp so was a snapcall for me.
