My call on that river is just so bad. I mean every draw just got there so they now beat me and if he has an over set im beat anyway so it should be an easy fold.

With the stop loss i wondered if 2 was too small but my thinking is at the moment when i feel i am running bad then i can lose a couple and then step back which i havnt been doing when i know i probably should. Once i start feeling more confident i will probably up it and 3 buyins seems a sensible amount.

With the table thing i dont feel i am too bad with Rush on the whole i think my problem is making rash decisions in the heat of the moment like say for instance a draw hits and someone Donk bets and i insta call thinking, Now way when i should just take a bit of time. Its a very bad habit i have and have had since i started playing poker. I havnt fathomed a way out of it yet as most of the time i know i should take some time but before i get chance i have pressed the call button.

Just had another really good session with Jared Tendler. Unfortunatley though i have just worked for 20 straight hours and in my fuzzy state forgot to press the record button on skype. Anyway ive quickly made some notes and Jared has said if i need anymore info on anything we talked about to mail him in a couple of days and he will get back to me with anything i have missed which is great. I find it hard to decide what is a breakthrough and what is just something that happens but i feel ive had a bit of a breakthrough tonight that has given me a lot of ideas as to what is the main reason i tilt, the logic behind it and possibly its origins. Ive got a ton of work to do on this now away from the table and one or two experiments to run and go over to give me a better idea as to how to control it but the main thing is getting to the heart of the problem.

Once again though i can reccomend Jareds coaching to anyone who has serious problems with tilt and can afford to pay for the coaching as i feel it will more than pay for itself in the long run. On a side note to this he has a book coming out shortly and you can sign up for info about it through email. They always say that you can run worse than you can possibly imagine. I actually cant imagine running any worse. This run has got me playing some of the worse poker i have ever played. I expect to be beat at showdown every single time meaning i dont get value from my big hands because all i can see is my opponent will have a bigger hand. I dont even get paid when i have the nut as i just expect everyone to fold.
I cant see how it will get worse but deep down i know that it will. I really have no idea of where i go from here. My confidence in my poker ability is at an all time low.

Not sure if you play SNGs - but what I like to do if everything is going wrong in cash games is take a break and play a bunch of micro 180 SNGs.
just grind the hell out of them until you get a win - it gets your confidence back.

just a suggestion. some horrible beats above.

keep at it martl, itll turn around. i hope this advice doesnt backfire but try load up a graph of last year and include adjusted ev or whatever it is, and i think u should see urself above and below ev a bunch of times throughout the graph. which would mean that it does turn around and will turn around. dont worry bout getting it in sooner sometimes as ive noticed u mentioned previously, because that evens oujt oo, we get lucky on turn and get it in to find out we were way behind on flop. hope this helps. gl

Just checked my EV for this month and im running 10 buyins above EV lol. I think it can be explained pretty easy though like for eample the last two hands i posted where i miss clicked. If i get the money in here then i get it in good but when i get the last few dollars in i am behind which EV wise just says i got it in on the river when i was beat. Also a couple of times i have flatted AA against KK and they have flopped a set. I guess thats why i dont like the EV stat in HEM.

Anyway i have discovered a way to stop people sucking out. I dont know why i havnt figured this out before:-

lol @ flop quads, but yea. i mean the graph tho. i thnk the box to check is all in ev? i checked mine for this month and i was above ev 3 time and below 3 times too, so it is proof that ev does even out and its just part of the swings. i know wat u mean tho bout times like flatting aa then having kk spike set on flop, but that stuff should even out also. kinda like flopping sets with 66 for ex vs aa then getting it in. if post all in evens out then flop - turn should even out also.
