I love this thread, please don't stop. Have you ever been approached by video sites? I imagine that the answer would be no if you had, but just curious.

run 70k above EV, lose 2k next day = truly depressing

sick life...

killer thread none the less, congrats.

I just felt very confident and thought playing 2k would make me much more money and improve my game more. And didnt really wanna bother with 600 and 1k. And if you wanna grind a limit you usually have to be willing to start tables, only way to get like 6-8 going. Def miss the Zoom convenience and my sessions are often too long now.

tbh I'm not super comfortable HU yet, and not so experienced (apparently I have 20k hands HU last 6 months) but it's not that different from playing BTN vs BB. Just ranges a little wider.

Not approached by video site and can't imagine myself making video's.

Yeah whining about 2k is a bit silly after going ridic amount over EV, but it still hurts

idk why I even bother bluffing, nice call though

From what I've railed of wilhasha, I think he's very good, just not quite on the same level as the opponents he plays. Must be fun playing against those sort of people.

Had a good (+12k) day but soooo tilted because at one point me and all other Belgians got disconnected and I had TPTK in 3b pot blind vs BTN and AJ on KJ9 3b pot blind vs BTN. Both 2kNL tables.

Easily cost me $1k if not more + some more on the other tables

No money everyone solid yada yada

Lorenzo - for those of us less familiar with your rise to playing $5/$10 - $10/$20, can you tell us a little bit of how you built your roll and how long it took etc?

              Thanks!

Busted the live mtt, eventhough I got AA 3 times on day 1 and got 5bet every time, but just seemed to have the 2nd best hand 90% of the time in the other hands. And today misplayed AKo vs AA ended up pfai and gg. Idk why I registered in the first place.

              Quickly back to 2kNL online.

Do you base your calls against unknowns solely on equity against his range along with the pot odds? Since i noticed that you mentioned earlier on that you need to stop calling light against the nits.

Bleh just lost a 2k stack in a hand were it really felt like my opponent must have seen some hhs here So now just 100% sure I'm gonna stop posting HHs.
Tbh it also works the other way around when playing vs giev, but still that hand felt stupid.

Also not feeling supercomfortable when playing vs dutchmen (location Netherlands or Malta) seems like some of them either live together and/or share hhs/information about their opponents. Fwiw old thread but still somewhat disturbing: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...piece-1191847/

Other then that still running super good, close to +30k since last update.

I'd say aejones, oldjude, Supernova9 bad (but they all rarely play) adam001 meh
fwiw together they're down 6 EV buyins at 500NL over 20k+ hands. Alias with some other known videomakers (these 4 + dint and binarystar) is down 7 EV buyins over 32k hands.
Are there more known videomakers playing 500NL?
Prob doesnt hurt to have a subscription, but I think it would be pretty naieve to expect to get any real good new information there if you're already playing MSNL. fwiw I never subscripted to a coaching site, the free vids couldnt convince me.

On the river obv equity + pot odds. And when I doubt I try to err on the unexploitable side.

Felt pretty good to spot my SN in a list like this (was posted in December Highstakes Thread)

giev's SN is pretty common knowledge imo, and pretty easy to guess given his location hah.

vs BU ? you look at certain hud stats before deciding?
and how does your (depolarized) 3bet range looks like vs BU when the PFR is mostly folding (less than 67%) and calling (only 4betting TT+,AK or maybe just JJ+,AK) ?
