Why not just import them directly as text to 2p2, convert it with the 2p2 converter, and then we have the option of both reading the text and watching it live. That also fixes it up and automatically adds in all of the colored suits, etc.

Getting errors when I try to use the converter.

When you go to make a post click on the blue "Hand History Converter"

Then copy/paste your hand history from pt4/hm2.

Then convert the hand. It makes it viewable to everyone in text or we have the option of clicking to view the actual hand play out live right on the forum.

OK you got the text but I'm not sure why we can't click "Replayer" and watch it... hmm.

Figured it out thanks for the help though. Clicking the blue thing was giving me an error when I tried to import it. But since it's powered by HEM and I use HEM it gave an option to copy the hh in 2p2 format. So that worked yay. Will use that going forward. Agree it makes it super nice/pretty/easy to read.

    NP.

I still don't understand why your hand is not showing the replayer option. This is what is supposed to look like.

It's pretty close. In this exact situation utg was running solidish numbers and BB was running super fishy numbers. Don't remember anything about sb. I think raising flop makes it harder for me to get all of utg's money and also invites in the whale. In this situation I'd rather wait and pile it in on a good turn of which there's many. If I didn't act last at all times I'd be trying to force money in on the flop.

Had a great Sunday watching my Patriots crush the Colts. Hopefully we can crush it one more time and win another super bowl! As the game was wrapping up I decided to check if there were any decent mtt's to reg and put in a cash session. I had missed all the bigger ones while watching the Pats game but there was still the 30k on Bovada in late reg and a couple others, so I fired up some cash tables and regged the 30k and a couple other tourneys. Few hours later we ended with the bink!

So yeah month was already going very well and this provided a nice little additional boost. I'll throw in a graph at the end of the month. Gonna be grinding online like usual this week, followed by a few days at the Borgata in AC (playing the main event/cash), then back to CT for a bit before taking off for Hollywood Fla to met up with tmckendry/ecgrinder/some other grinders for the main event/grinding cash/fun times there. I gotta look into what there is to do around there as it'd be cool to rent a jetski or go kayaking or something while there if that stuff is nearby. Fun times ahead.

It seems like every month you have a big cash. Congrats bro! Not sure if you are lucky, really good, or just playing an insane amount of tourneys, or all 3. Very impressive regardless... Did you really only play 124 hands or you turned your HUD on late?

Your thread inspired me when I first started playing poker a few months ago. I am officially rolled for 25NL with a $600 BR(after foolishly cashing out a few times on bovada). Hoping to make it to $.50/1.00 by next year. I see the allure of switching to tourneys though.. better rake and being able to take top 3 with a decent field would really be a serious bankroll pad. Something that would take probably months at the lower stakes cash games.

Also, that is sick that your $1500 pot above had a $2 rake. I get raked $3 for a $60 pot at 50NL. What is that about lol?

If you like fishing there's lots of charter boats around here in the Fort Lauderdale/Deerfield area. The weather has been beautiful lately, hopefully it stays like this.

    Keep it up bro!

Thanks! Ummm definitely been on the nice side of variance the last 4-5 months. I think I have a nice edge in the games I'm playing and I do a decent job of getting in hours each month, but I for sure have been running well. So yeah some combo of playing well/running well/and getting in volume. In terms of the couple nice tourney scores lately, for sure you need to run good to make it deep in a tourney nevermind win one. I don't play that many tournaments (mostly because there aren't too many on US sites that it makes sense to load up). I have had a handful of final tables in the past couple years where I took some rough beats for lots of equity when there was big money up top. It's been nice to not have that happen in the deep runs I've had in tourneys with big money up top the last couple months. So yeah long story short is running very well and playing in games where I have a good edge.

The HUD resets with every table change so def more than 124 hands played to get through the tourney.

Congrats on reaching 25nl! If you keep working on your game there's definitely no reason you can't be at 100nl before the end of 2015. Not sure what your job/life situation is like but just focus on getting in quality hours and thinking through decisions and you'll reach your goals. With the mtt stuff id say stick to cash unless you can afford to play some of the high value tourneys and don't mind the extra variance. A tourney Bink is nice but you can't predict when you will get that good run and get that big score. Just play whatever you think gives you the highest hourly and the most enjoyment.

Thanks for the fishing tip. I'm not much of a fisher tbh, just never really been around it much so don't know much about it.

This got long, hope some of my rambling was helpful. Thanks for following, gl on your 100nl goal!

Alright well I'm back from New Jersey. I played day 1 of the wpt main there on Sunday. I had a very tough table but I had direct position on the two softest spots at the table so it wasn't so bad. I stayed around starting stack for most of the day, mostly being a little bit above for most of the day. Unfortunately with about an hour left in day 1 I ran KK into 89o vs the fish to my right in a 3b pot on 883 2 tone. Was a fun experience and despite the tough table I think still a +ev experience for sure. Unfortunately the next morning I woke up with what I think was food poisoning and had a very brutal 24 hours following that. I'm still getting over it but I think I'm almost through to the other side. Has not been a fun experience lol.

So unfortunately due to getting sick I didn't get any opportunity to grind cash while I was there and I'm taking it easy for the next day or so until I'm closer to 100%. So my month is pretty much done. January was a very nice month in all aspects. Along with that tourney ship a couple weeks ago I also crushed cash pretty hard and ended up about 24k on the month. So yeah pretty incredible month and looking forward to putting another big effort forward in February.

Cash graph for the month below. For some reason HEM seems to be having trouble missing some hands when importing which is annoying, so it's missing a few k of cash profits.

Going forward I'm not totally sure how often I'm going to be updating. I don't mind sharing my thoughts/experiences but I'm kind of bored of it at times, so I'll probably just pop in to answer questions/give a random update if I feel like updating.

    Good luck in Feb everyone!

    GO PATS!!!

Off to Florida in 12 hours! Should be a fun time. Gonna be playing a lot of poker but if anyone is gonna be around there and wants to play basketball/tennis/whatever lemme know. I'm sure tmckendry and I will be getting some tennis in for sure. Looking forward to some nice weather while the northeast deals with some snow days coming up.

Thanks! Yeah I've only played briefly in Tampa a few years ago but I've heard games are good as well, so hopefully that holds true.

I'm on the plane to Florida and bored so just gonna spew some thoughts.

I really like what pure aggression has been doing with his charitable initiatives lately. I've thought before about trying to do stuff like what he's been doing for the homeless. Gonna have to make sure I try to find some spots where I can help some people around ct. One thing I have started doing is volunteering one night a week at a no kill animal shelter. Basically go and help walk the dogs/feed them/clean cages/give them attention. Helping people always feels good and I have plenty of time/money that there's no excuse for not finding more opportunities to help out.

Poker wise feb has gotten off to another incredible start. Wouldn't mind every month going this way just gonna keep grinding hard and hopefully continue to see good results.

Awesome January man, motivational to read of your success stories as always, especially after I just battled long and hard through my toughest month to date in my cash game transition. It's only making me a stronger, hungrier player, and keeping the mind free from accumulated frustration is one of the greatest challenges in poker, but it is exactly the challenge I'm up for.

I actually got a chance to meet Pure Aggression while he was visiting Phoenix last month and I'm excited to broaden out and get involved in some of what he is doing in Las Vegas once I get moved in and all situated there. There is a lot of perceived negativity in the professional poker/gambling world, so when there are people who can stand out and shed some positive light on the community it is a breath of fresh air. Carl is a great character that is doing exactly that, and it is something I personally look forward to being a bigger part of.

Good luck in Florida with the poker, and in February in general, and kudos to working with the no kill shelter as well, that is a great idea.
