I am a construction engineer from Romania who played online in the past 3-4 years for entertainment and from time to time withdrew some money. I played mostly cash games 5,10,25nl. At this moment in my life i decided to take a break from my current job and to give poker a chance . I want to play full-time for the next 15 months and reevaluate my situation on 1 Jan 2016.

I followed some threads from here and i must say that i am very inspired by Stasia42!! Ty , Sir!

So, my plan is quite simple:

1. Play 40h/week, study:5h/week.

2. 50-60buyins bankroll management , stop loss= 7 buyins/day .

Today, I have a poker-bankroll of 500$ and I play 10nl,FR mostly on Stars. I also like the games on 888 and FullTilt at this stake.

3. Update this thread 3-4 times/week. One weekly-report(graphs,winnings) on Monday from the previous week . I want to post hands that I consider interesting and to comment on them with you guys.

4. I dont have any poker-friends so i hope that after i prove myself maybe i can make some !

5. First study goal is to read The mental game of poker 1 and to start watching some cash vids because i want very much to improve my game. At the moment i m a nitttyy player, 11/9/3%-3bet!

6. First monetary goal is to get my bankroll to 1500$ and move up at 25nl with 60 buyins !

This thread is open to criticism , comments and good poker talk in generally!

I am committed to this and i hope to have a great adventure in this crazy poker world!

That's nitty bankroll management, but I suppose if you're doing it as a job so to speak then it becomes necessary! I'm at 5NL myself and looking to make my way up slowly, but I'm shot taking at 20 BI for each next level and considering even dropping that to shot taking at 15 BI with a 3 BI shot, but we will see.

Today i played 444 min and 5735 hands at 10nl , fullring on Stars.

Some hands from today sessions:

Hand 1: Vs 39/6/7.7-3bet/37hands



I think that its ok to get the money in on the turn vs a fishy player!


Hand 2: Vs 62/5/17,4-3bet/86 hands


Maybe i should 3bet preflop in this situations. On the turn do i have to bet or its ok check and call his smallish bet?

Hand 3: Vs 38/3/0-3bet/65 hands


It s ok this line, bet,bet,bet allin vs this passive looking player? Or its overplay?

Hand 4: Vs 9/4/3.8-3bet/696 hands


When i look at this hand now i realise that i have to think twice before jamming especially when the villain is sooo nittyy!

Now when i look at this hand i think that he never raises here with AQ,QT,QJ. I see only value hands in his range, AA slowplayed and some 6x type hands , 67s,68s . What do we do, 140 bb deep? Call all the way or find a fold somewhere because we are beated by his value range?

When he calls my 3bet OOP i think that he has a pretty strong range:AK,QQ,JJ,TT maybe AQs . I dont like at all my play, i should bet bigger on the flop, 2$, and shove the turn. Pretty bad play from me!

I lost a couple of buyins and play bad some situation but i hope that the next sessions i will be play better.

I dont like at all my results so far, I need to work harder, to study more and to get better!
For the next 30 days I want to play after a schedule:

8:00 - woke up time!
- shower and the morning routine:breakfast,read newspapers online etc.
- drink green tea.

9:00-10:45 - Session 1

12:00-13:30 - Study Time

15:00-16:45 - Session 2

19:00-20:30 - Session 3

21:00-22:45 - Session 4

23:15-1:00 - Session 5

1:15-1:45 - Books time+Sleep!

So, this will be 8h30min/day and I want to have 50h/week so i need to play 6 days and 1 day off. I will play 5 sessions the last 3 will be on peak time, i m from Romania so here is EET .
I hope to play better and to see some improvement in my game in these 30days!
