Here is the scoop. Started playing $1-2 live last year and lost the first few times, then after researching started to win. However, I lost focus and played terrible and lost. I am only up about $100.

However I have renewed focus, have been doing my homework and am set to become a consistent winner!!

So.. What's the challange?

1/2 live is not that hard, me personally i figure out everyones style at the table and find out who plays tag lag, and who's playing scared money. then i play abc poker adjusting to each style and unless i get sucked out on alot i end up winning big every time

maybe like, try to play a certain amount of live poker this summer. keep updated logs etc of every time you play and post it here. gl.

yeah def, just keep it simple. bet your premium hands for max value, and i always found playing lots of small pots and trying to stack sumbody works well. hands like PP's and SC's play very well in these games.

Trying to do something similar except online...my problem has been any time I make money I'll move up until I go broke. I'll play 30/60 if I have the money and then just get destroyed....

So I made a prop bet with a friend that I would pay him $300 if I played 1 hand of 3/6 before I played 10k hands at 1/2. After I play the 10k hands I can revaluate and move up to 2/4 for another 10k hands if I have at least $1200. (300bb). I'm at about 2k hands in and up to $300 off a 12$ balance...

I had 11 straight winning sessions but took my first hit today for $130 loss...however the prop bet has kept me at that stakes as the degenerate in me has avoided moving up in stakes to get money back when losing....
