so I found this what I thought was pretty clever line in game vs aggro reg (and fishy BB who contributed a preflop call)

PokerMaster, $0.50/$1 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $101.60 (101.6 bb)
BB: $61.35 (61.4 bb)
UTG: $120 (120 bb)
Hero (MP): $171.50 (171.5 bb)
CO: $319.37 (319.4 bb)
BTN: $263.09 (263.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 4s 4d 3c 3s
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3.50, CO folds, BTN calls $3.50, SB folds, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($11) Qc Kh 4c (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $11, BB folds, Hero calls $11

Turn: ($33) 6s (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $25, Hero calls $25

River: ($83) 5s (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $55.33, Hero calls $55.33

Results: $193.66 pot ($3.25 rake)
Final Board: Qc Kh 4c 6s 5s
Hero showed 4s 4d 3c 3s and won $190.41 ($95.58 net)
BTN showed Qh 7s 9c Jc and lost (-$94.83 net)

running the hand through the web trainer afterwards, what I found interesting, well first of all BB is playing almost pure check. that's pretty obvious. but even in my spot, as PFR in this three way pot, we are playing 96% check. which we might as well simplify to pure check. so that is pretty cool, certainly not really how I am playing by any means. I do think it is important to check/call down with some fairly nutted hands just so you can't be barreled off indiscriminately on bricks. Obviously this works better against aggressive opponents.

BB: $117.39 (117.4 bb)
Hero (SB): $208.84 (208.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6c Kh 2h 9h
Hero raises to $3, BB raises to $9, Hero calls $6

So this hand is right on the cusp of being an open. And apparently we are supposed to fold to the three bet. Even more so because there is simply no way villain is three betting 18%. Apparently BB folds 38.7% to our open, which I think I am defending significantly looser than that heads up, so that is an adjustment I can make for sure.

Flop: ($18) 7d Ks Tc (2 players)
BB bets $18, Hero calls $18

Interestingly enough, On KT6 all K97 combos including say K974 rainbow for top pair, nine kicker, a gutty, and worthless low card no bd flush draws are raise stacking off.

No KT7 so I used KT6.

Turn: ($54) 3d (2 players)
BB bets $54, Hero folds

Results: $54 pot ($1.50 rake)
Final Board: 7d Ks Tc 3d
BB mucked and won $52.50 ($25.50 net)
Hero mucked 6c Kh 2h 9h and lost (-$27 net)

Cucked by the river, but kudos to villain for essentially stacking off with 9% equity.

Anyway, last week has been pretty terrific. Should have another 2k in profit on the stake roughly. Working with web trainer has really sharpened my game and gave me more confidence. That being said I have been a little lazy with it, I need to really focus and get the most out of it. Hopefully I can do a monker build some time in the future also.

I guess it's only been four days, but it feels like a lot longer. Went on a mild downswing and recovered from most of it. Have 2k banked now waiting to be chopped which I guess is where I was a week ago. So that should be 13k total profit on this stake (6.5k each). That is counting the latest rakeback figures which I just got today.

Yesterday was a righteous day. I cashed out like 1100 or something from a 1/2 table. Was in four at least $400 not sure on the exact figure. This hand was pretty massive. We actually ran it three times and I scooped all three. Unfortunately the straddle tables have totally broken my tracker, so I now primarily keep track via account balance.

anyway, plan for this next week same as the last. grind grind grind. play a bunch of aoe4. drink a dangerous amount of coffee and energy drinks. do some away from the table work. move on to season 4 of the practice.

definitely still struggling to get situated at PLO $200. PLO $400 / $500 is a long way off. My present backer told me that PLO $200 was as far as we can go no matter what which I can appreciate, even here the swings can be brutal. So I might look for a new backer in a few months time, we'll see, anyway right now I am quite happy with the situation he has given me access to a nice variety of different clubs and even proactive in reloading me never have to wait more than a day for chips. And I've done well by him he's up +6500 so far on relatively limited exposure since we started at PLO $60. But yah the grass is always greener and there are a lot of shitty backers out there so I am quite happy with the situation I have, he's always been good about profit chops whenever I want. So grind this stake at $200 for the next couple months anyway.
