hi guys im 23 years old and im student..I am playing poker for 4 years..i used to play multitable stg and mtts last 2 years...my goal and my dear is to do a master in abroad... and im willing to fight for this. have a goal to reach 15000 $.. i had 1000$ and i meet in a big crossroad...will i play mtts and multitable stgs or cash games(and zoom)?...mtts have tremendus variance and you need more time and they are tiring.on the other hand, you must be very veryy good in cash games.. also,i dont have too much time because i m student..so i dont know what i will doo...i want to listen your ideas guys...thanks for your time..really thanks gl all of us

You know, it depends from you, i mean what you want. Playing cash games you don't have a particular schedule, you can stand up when you want. On the other side cash games have smaller dispersion, so i mean in mtts you can have minus 3-4 months(I don't the expert in mtts,its only my thoughts), but playing cash games you can have stable winrate and profit(playing cash games you also can have losses 3-4 month it depends from you).
When I started playing I began from reg cash tables, then played 6 and 9-max sng's, then I find myself in zoom,fast or rush(whatever you want) tables, and still playing them.
So I mean you should find yourself playing different types and when you finally find it just crushing them!

I've been asking myself this question for the past 4 yrs, only recently came up with an answer to play both (not mixing mtt and cash at the same time tho, different mindset)

The postflop skill I gained in cash games has had a tremendous effect in my play during the early stages of an mtt where the game is kinda deep, imo some cash game experience is a must for every poker plr. On the other hand mtt's are fun to play here and there and in the vast majority of them u get tons of recreational plrs.

look im playing poker for 4 years i have read some books..when i started im playning cash without bankroll management so i have busted a lot of times...on the other hans last one year i am playing mtts and sit and go with bankroll management and a lot of read...byt i cant bear that there are days or weeks or months without cash...and alsoo i dont have too much time for tournaments because i must study concurrently.. @HEREMYBRAIN

Yes tolis i agree with you...and maybe i will play cash games because i have problem with the daily program...soo...i think all of this, are decisions who take all the serious poker players...

Sounds like a good plan. And once in a while u can prolly enjoy some mtt's
